Well, it's safe to say Father will probably be finished off.
I've been informed through the internet that 108 is going to have 150 pages, so possibly it will finish off the fight AND have a epilogue?
I hope so..
Let's keep rooting on Arakawa for a great finale.

i agree ling i pray that it doesn't end like in the original series al give his life then ed give he's to bring al back that well suck if it does.i wish FMA wouldn't have to end.

I think, Al won't be back. Ed'll try to resurrect him but it won't work 'cos the Truth won't let him do it again 'cos it's not fair.
(What would really suck would be for Ed to resurrect Al with the cost of Ed's soul, then Al to be sad and then resurrect Ed with the cost of Al's soul, and the cycle to go on xD Sure that won't happen though)
I WANT SOME PAIRING ACTION. (cough-MUSTANGxHAWKEYE(surely the professional barrier is well dissolved by now??)-cough-LINxLANFAN-cough)
I also hope Greed gets all depressed and suicidal and gets out of Lin's body~
Can you imagine Lin becoming emperor with Greed still in there somewhere, and Greed popping out at the most inappropriate moments?!?

I can't wait to see Father be defeated. It's going to be awesome! Also, I get the feeling that Ed might use the god that Father has trapped inside him as means to get Al back. Maybe god is the equivalent to a human soul? Lastly, I hope to see some pairing action as well.

Cassaela Can you imagine Lin becoming emperor with Greed still in there somewhere, and Greed popping out at the most inappropriate moments?!? That would actually be really, really funny. rofl Can you imaging him hitting on all the court ladies in Lin's body? Lan Fan would definitely have to beat him up a little for that. XD

Eijay That would actually be really, really funny. Can you imaging him hitting on all the court ladies in Lin's body? Lan Fan would definitely have to beat him up a little for that. XD I can TOTALLY see that. That's the kind of 'inappropriate'ness I'd expect for Greed. (I was also imagining him popping out at weddings, and, stuff. XDDD) Actually I bet Lin is quite the flirt anyway, but Greed I'd expect to be a lot worse. He's so gonna get thrown out of the palace or something xD Hopefully Lanfan will beat him up in such away that Greed gets lost in his head and Lin comes back!

aww!! Spare Greed! he's like the coolest Homonculus ever!
Can't he just transfer to another body? but if he does, Ling won't have a stone anymore. But Ranfan has one. (that thing int he vial, remember?^^) so they still have a chance.
those are my predictions.
and if 108 is the last chapter and it will have 150 pages, I sure hell hope that Father will be OWNED good, all the Canon pairings get happy endings and Al will come back.
*sigh* I wish Kimblee could come back too. crying
I bet the finale will be one of the coolest EVAH! xD

I am hoping for an epic ending! Arakawa better not let me down like she did with *cough* Stupid Alphonse *cough* My best friend and fellow otaku Rickey and I were talking about the end. (he is not much of an FMA fan, he perfers mangas will more boobs. Lust just doesn't do the job for him) but he gave the worst ever prediction here:
Edward defeats father and sees Alphonse dead.
Ed: No! I will give my new arm and my sould for Al.
Al: No! I will give my body to save Big Brother!
eventually the process will go on till they are both made of metal and none of their original bodies are back.
Al: Brother we are both full Metal!
Ed: Yes Al, we are
The manga ends with them both walking to the sunset with this song playing
If it ends like that I will cry. XD
I agree with Cassaela and think that Al might give his soul to the gate permanently ton get Ed his body back. Maybe Al will even be reunited with his mother.

Yeaah. I am in HUGE need of an epic but satisfying ending.
Harry Potter's ending failed. FMA's 1st anime's ending failed. WE NEED THIS ONE TO BE GOOD.

Cassaela Yeaah. I am in HUGE need of an epic but satisfying ending. Harry Potter's ending failed. FMA's 1st anime's ending failed. WE NEED THIS ONE TO BE GOOD. Def. I've come to terms with the failed endings you've mentioned (eventually), but I expect better of Arakawa!!!

Starts mumbling to himself: "Ed and Al never came to our world! They never got stuck on our side!"
