Calvin cracked a smile as he walked out the conference room. He was practically home free now. All he had to do was find Hanson and wait a little bit for most of the teachers to leave and they could walk to his car and then they could spend the evening together at his apartment. It was a thought that he had running through his mind all day long. He walked back to his science room and frowned a little not seeing the boy waiting for him in there. He didn't distress though, the boy was probably wandering around the school and would turn up soon. It would only attract attention if he went looking for Hanson.

The art teacher after the meeting walked back to her room to collect her things and lock up. She really was ready to leave already. As she walked into her classroom, she was a little surprised to see Hanson still there painting. "Sweetie, I admire your dedication, but I need to leaving soon, do you have a ride home?" She asked thinking maybe that was why he stayed so long after school.

Calvin's head perked up from the papers he was scanning over. "Hey, there you are," He noted happily seeing the painting in his hand. He guessed that Hanson had probably been in the art room this whole time. "It doesn't matter, my car isn't perfect, I'm sure a little paint wouldn't hurt it." Calvin told him as he stood from his desk shuffling the papers together. His hands moved about the wooden desk collecting and sorting various things to their correct place. "What why? I'm pretty anything you could paint would be beautiful, you have a lot of talent." Calvin told him encouragingly as he shoved something things into his messenger bag and threw it over his shoulder. As he finished preparing to leave, he clicked off the light on his desk and walked over to Hanson at the door and clicked the overhead light off too. Calmly he then strolled into the still lite hallway looking back at Hanson to make sure he was following him.

Calvin shrugged a little at the comment. "Okay, but you know some of the most famous artist are remembered for paintings that they actually painted over. Maybe you don't see the beauty in it, but someone else would." Calvin spoke in a tender voice. He wasn't say it to convince Hanson to let him see the painting. He was saying it to make Hanson feel better about his work in general. "Maybe you are just tired, I know today as been pretty long for me," Calvin said glancing back at him as he walked with him outside to his car. It was late now and all the other teachers had rushed out after the meeting. The parking lot was now void of life. "Maybe when we get home I'll fix you some tea and we can just relax for the night. I know you maybe lay on the couch and watch movies." Calvin offered as a way for them to turn the day around. Hanson didn't seem like he had ever good days very often, but Calvin wanted to at least try and make them better.
