The expression on Marisol's face held great annoyance and she let a low growl out as she rounded another bank and was meet with yet more trees. Taking a seat she decided to rest a spell. She was tired of this 'game'. After all she'd been 'playing' for three days now. Or was it more. It was hard to tell how much time had passed when the tall thick trees blocked out the sun and it always seemed like night.
She wasn't sure on the time line or where she was going. What she did know was that she was hungry, tired and though she would never admit it she was getting weak. She was getting weak due to a lack of food, something she hadn't found since she'd gotten lost. Which was ironic considering that she had gotten lost in these woods by chasing a mouse she had planned to make her meal. Chased it so far that when it finally got away she turned around and realized she had no clue where she was.
For now she was making due on the small pools of water that collected in leave and on rocks but she had to eat soon.
Standing she was about to continue on again when movement of to her eye caught her attention. It was a small lizard, gray with tiny black dots up it's back. She wiggled her nose a little as she watched it. Marisol had never eaten something like that before. But she knew beggars couldn't bee choosers in times like these.
Crouching down a little she slowly moved forwards as stealthily as she could. However her tail caught of some of the underbrush just as she was close enough to snatch the smaller creature and it skittered off under and bush. The pale colored blue Wish wasn't letter that snack go and without thinking she darted after it, pushing herself under the bush as well.
The next thing she knew it was like she was flying, her paws out in the air and scrambling for solid ground. She let out a terrified cry as she fell, hitting the cliff face at least twice on her way down before landing with a thud at the bottom. She was still her body limp as she lay on her side.
