Tira wiped his own mouth and decided, since he had just ordered a dozen rum balls also, to leave the rest "I think i will leave it also, I have rum balls to also get through...unless you care to take some off my hooves?" He asked as he conjured up a bag just in case.

Phyllis eyed the rum balls. They certainly were good and a temptation. "I suppose I could take a few. Don't want them to go to waste." She said before smiling at him, "Thank you for treating me to ice cream. I'll have to return the favor some day." She paused and thought about it. Yes it seemed Tira was constantly helping her out. She would have to return the favor when she could.

Tira placed a few rum balls into the bag and passed them over to her* there you go, they are good, my mother may be fantastic at making ice cream but she can, on the rather rare occasion, make other yummy treats as well but that is usually left up to Red, our live in cook" he said as he ate a rum ball now "and you are most welcome, it was nice to actually have company for once, it has been a while since I have had outside company, usually it is studying with school mates" he said as he closed the box's lid. "And really, you don't have to return the favour, what kind of pony would I be if I didn't help another out?" He said, never having wanted payment for his help, he did it out of the goodness of his heart, his parents taught him well in that regard atleast.

"Thank you." She said while taking the bag. She smiled at what he said and then shook her head. "Yes but I would like to help you out or even treat you to a meal one day. Is it so wrong to want to do so?" She replied while tilting her head. There was another reason too, one she wasn't going to tell him. If she was able to help him out one day or treat him to food then that meant she would get to spend more time with him. "Hm... is there anyway we can save the rest of the ice cream for later? I'd hate to see it go to waste."

"Well, when you put it like that then how can I say no?" He said smiling at her as he gestured at a waiter (and fellow classman) who was standing there doing nothing, looking rather bored and was totally wanting to be anywhere else but here "excuse me" he called as the waiter came over "hi, please start to look a bit happier when you are working here or I might have to say something to my mother about your work ethic, it may have been fine up till now but really, customers come in here wanting to see friendly staff and if you look bored and not willing to work and yes, I saw it in your body language, you would rather be anywhere else but here, she may need to see reason to fire you. I know, I can be such a jerk but really, this is the FAMILY business just as much as it is hers and considering I am a member of her family I don't want to see a waiter who would rather watch paint dry then work here.
Now, if you would be so kind as to place the rest of our orders on two separate plates we can take them with us' he said as he smiled at the waiter who looked like a deer stuck in headlights because obviously no one has spoken to him like he just had before."Sure" the waiter said as he levitated the two deserts and walked back to the kitchen with them. "I hate playing bad cop but really, it is workers like him that obviously are on;ly working here to get a wage and then leave because they have school but the least they can do is be friendly and look happy, it doesn't bode well on my mothers business if they are not" he said as he ate another rum ball.

Phyllis smiled back at Tira. It faded as she listened to him tell off the waiter. When he began to talk to her again she shook her head. "I understand. No one really wants to go to a restaurant that has waiters that aren't friendly looking." She said. She fell silent trying to think of how to change the topic to something happier. "So where are we off to after this?" She asked. She wanted to make sure their plans were what she remembered discussing earlier.
