Mai took out a bowl and a stick of butter and several cups of flour. Taking a butter knife, she cut the butter, dropping it into the flour, and rubbing it in.

As soon as Mina goes to gather more campers(mostly Mai's half-siblings!) she then goes to look around, trying to carefully take notes as to the plans that Mai's so-called step-mother(the term Mina would use very loosely with Mai's case!) would come to possess, and also awaiting the news of what may happen at any moment.

Mai was done with the crust, so she chilled it and began making the filling for the pie. She took the strawberries and began boiling them into jam.

"Πολύ σύντομα, ίσως να μην έχετε να ανησυχείτε καθόλου για βήμα-μητέρα Mai μέχρι τη στιγμή ή αν δεν έχει πια στρατιές των δολοφόνων του εντός των συνόρων της Camp στο λόφο μισό αίμα!"(Pretty soon, we might not have to worry at all about Mai's step-mother until the time comes or unless she got armies of assassins inside the Camp Borders at half-blood hill!) Mina said in greek, as she goes to continue to bring the ingredients to the kitchen as soon as she could gather the others to begin helping Mai in the working process.
Mina then said,"I wonder what's next after we bake the cheesecakes and pies?" as Mina goes to look to the skies for some sort of sign of further notice.
