Teresa had stopped her blade from going too far through Michael, as Gin seemed to be a bit quicker than her, but she was still able to see what his abilities had forced her to do. Spitting blood from her mouth, she still grinned. "Is this all you think will defeat me?" she asked Gin, turning towards him. "You're sorely mistaken." she said, as her eyes closed. A second later they flashed open, having become golden and slitted, like that of a cat or a snake. Power erupted from Teresa, so much so that the area began to shake as if it had been under the shock of an Earthquake. Her powers were also enhanced by the Soul Society itself, as Reishi enhanced all power within the Soul Society, which was the cause of the massive quake around them. Teresa shoved Michael back lightly, to get his sword out of her gut, and turned to look towards Gin, and made a "bring it on" motion with her finger to him. But her smile was gone.
