Oh~ How he loved the winter. Of course, it wasn't here yet. Fall was still approaching and he liked the taste of the crisp, cold air and the dying, wilting leaves. It was wonderful~ As though the entire world was heading towards an inevitable break down. The only real downside to winter was the fact that he showed up against white snow like a single, neon pink tree in the middle of a bleak, empty field. But he still liked it.
He didn't look any less intimidating, he was merely just easier to spot. How he loved sticking to the shadows and scaring the s**t out of those who were unfortunate enough to catch his eye. He rarely fought them and, thankfully, he rarely had to. Usually he could spook off the odd wolf with his sudden, angry appearance.
He was considering this as he shifted through the darkness of the night, carefully avoiding the few, thick, crispy leaves. The gentle play of the moonlight that filtered through the leaves that still remained on the trees, and to him the scene was still pleasant, not yet marred by others.
