PSP=fad for spammers and rich boys
I think a PS for the DS would be great. With the online thing coming out, combined with being able to split the attack customization and killing split between the screens, it'd be pretty sweet. I mean, being at my cabin playing PSO without having to lug my console up and back'd be pretty sweet.

stare Is Phantasy Star DS suppose to be just another copy of episodes 1&2 only for the DS or is it different? and if so is it suggested to be turn-based or real-time? sweatdrop I really don't want to have to buy a DS if I don't need to...

I haven't heard anything about PSO DS and i work at EB games... although I recently bought the Phantasy Star Collection which is wicked! twisted

I heard about PSO for DS a long time ago but in an interview with the the creater of PSO he said there are no plans for it right now but he might think about putting one on the PSP in the future... stare

I read in nintendo power awhile ago (gotta love the power) That the game will be called psu phantasy star universe(if it was correct and I have the right spelling) and the game like all games that are soon to be realeased on the ds will be wi-fi so we will be able to play against people all the way over in japan! All you will need is a wireless router by your computer or be in an internet hot spot and you can play, it sucks for me though, living 30 minutes out of the city and high speed just got out there and it is s**t loads more then in the city, lets hope my parents arn't cheap, because I need the net to get a job on a website! Anyways I'm rambling if i hear more about psu/pso I'll let you all know

Indeed. Aside from the remakes of the origenal Phantasy Star games on the hand held games Sonic Team has announced that Phantasy Star Universe will be there last new PS game. And just as Waluigi1 has stated it will only be released for The Play Station 2 and home computer systems. I last heard it's release was for March of 2006 but it's unclear if it will be pushed back another month or so.
