Actually it was confirmed a while ago that there would be a phantasy star for the DS, however it can't be online as the DS has a range of 60 feet in wireless.
I'm excited anyway.

Are you so sure it's PSO? I believe I heard something about the original games, including/at least IV, being ported to the DS. I haven't heard anything about PSO for handhelds though.
In any case, I wouldn't get your hopes up too soon.

i found new news that the DS is coming out with online compatability. The first 2 games to use this feature are animal crossing and mario cart DS. there isnt a set date but its estimated to be out around september and october of this year. which means there can be a PSO for the DS!!!. I cant wait. (jumps through the roof)
