What kind of guards were they then? He became quite livid though when they knocked Shizuo out. His hands began to shake and his eyes dilated. He wanted to his one of them very badly, and it was going to happen soon. He listened to why they were planning on hurting Shino and he quirked a very dangerous smile "He is not an escaped slave, gentleman, he is mine. And you're not going to have as much "fun" as I'm going to." As he said that he went up to the first guard who was making Shino scream and he roundhouse kicked him to the head as soon as he hit the ground he turned around and hit the other guard square in the jaw and heard a sickening crunch. He didn't know if he killed the first guard or not but he didn't care. He was going to maim these guys, they hurt Shino who did nothing wrong.

Shino was shocked that Aeryn was fighting to help him. He would do the same of course but the two men Aeryn fought weren't human but much worse. They were full blooded demons and had once served Satan. "Aeryn.... Run while you can... Their demons.... Chosen from satans elite. Just leave me..... It rather be the one they have fun with than let anything happen to you..... Please.... Get out of here...."
As he spoke the first guard got up but he didn't look the way he had earlier, instead he was red and had horns stickin out of his head. His yellow eyes blazed in anger. "The human is right... And your far prettier than he is..... Maybe will make you our plaything instead....". He grinned showing a set of sharp teeth as he took a step forward only to fall onto his face as Shino had managed to wiggle his way in the other's path.

Yeah, he knew by now that he was going to get his a** kicked, but these guys reminded him of the people who killed his parents, who also didn't do anything to get harmed. It was Aeryn's duty to help people now that his parents were not around to do it. And he would fulfill his duty today whether it killed him, maimed him, or extremely destroyed him. He was still in a fighting stance and was still planning on fighting when he looked around and kept the two in his vision. The one he had kicked sure as hell looked like a demon now, horns and all. What in the hell did I get myself into? He didn't like the idea of being either one of their "playthings". He had never had sex with either gender and planned to keep it that way today. He would now not only be fighting for Shino but also himself. He smirked as Shino tripped the demon looking one and caught the other demon off guard by shoving his shoulder into his gut, picking him up and throwing him on the ground. He might lose but he would put up a hell of a fight until then.

Shino Nagamasa
Shino had managed to get the keys to the chains and was working on getting them off as he was distracting the two demons by calling them weak and saying an angel was scarier then them. Of course that would also piss them off but it gave Aeryn and himself a better chance.
When the chains fell of Shino rushed the one demon who had the horns and was using the chains as a weapon with surprisng skill. He didn't even notice that he was glowing slightly (making him half angel....). When the demon he was after saw this he backed up slightly before grabbing at Aeryn which enraged Shino causing him to do somethin he had no idea he could do. He glowed brighter and soon the area they were fighting in was covered in a bright white light causing the demons to scream in pain before vanishing. Shino passed out as he had no control of his newfound ability and had used more energy than he had available.
A pair of small white wings poked out from under Shino's long hair and shivered slightly as they were sensitive to the touch.

He heard Shino yelling taunts and saw them back up. One of the demons grabbed at him and he looked at Shino as to why they were so scared and saw exactly why. Shino was glowing, but not only that he was beautiful. He wondered why he was glowing and could only think that he was and angel or atleast part. Though he didn't have many of the characteristics. The demons vanished as Shino passed out. He ran to his side and felt his pulse and checked his breathing, he was only passed out. He reached his hands behind his back and his legs but stopped short. He felt something behind Shino's back and went to look for what it was. As he gazed onto his back his eyes widened, he was right. There were delicate white feathers laced onto his back. He sighed and picked up Shino and carried him to the car, he could only guess that Shino didn't know he was part angel, or that he had just figured out.

Shino woke up bit later and looked around. He groaned and put a hand to his head thinking it was from when the guard hit him. "Hey.... Uh.... What happened back there? I mean I remember some of the fight.... But then after tripping that demon I draw a blank.....". He was happy to see that Aeryn was not hurt. He realized that Aeryn must have carried him to the car and thought it probably wasn't easy. "Aeryn... I'm sorry for getting you into that mess, and thanks... For not leaving me there..."

James walked through the large shop, his eyes moving from cage to cage. As he passed each slave, he would inspect them for a full three seconds before moving on. That's all he needed to evaluate their usefulness to him. He stopped finally at the cage of a blue haired girl with a covered face. He evaluated her before chuckling, "what is your name, girl?" James looked human but the presence he emitted said differently. His pale violet eyes were fixed on her, curiosity as well as amusement clear in them. This girl was one that shouldn't be kept locked up, she would most definitely keep him amused.

With--James Claws and talons grated against the floor, breaking under boots of guards. Wild hisses and growls and animal noises of threat went here and there, floating throughout the horrid dirty place filled with slaves. A female in particular was pissed off and insecure, making her itch to kill people, and laugh at them for treating her like the dirt they walked all over. But that never changed. She'd been here for about a year now, and Rose still hadn't been tamed from her bestiality. No one had broken her down, or even got close enough to draw blood from her. There had been a couple masters that seemed very dangerous, but none of them had taken interest in her. Most sadists liked a pleasure slave, and one who enjoyed being hurt and beat; those were the slaves that those dangerous masters were drawn to.
But there was a different kind of master that had stopped in front of her cage this time. Rose had her back against the cage door, knees curled up and her head tilted down. He was laughing, which made the female draw her head up. That wasn't a human man. And there was the smell of several things older than the human life span. How old was he, how powerful? "I'm not a girl, I'm a woman." She responded blatantly, still irritated. But why had he been laughing? This was not a pleasant place to be in. "Rose." She answered the question, despite her remark; best not take any chances.

James' eyes remained fixated on the girl, studying her. He chuckled softly, "to me your nothing more than a simple child." James yawned and looked around, trying to see if any other slave intrigued him more. "Hmmm. . . guess not. You'll do." He whistled and one of the guards walked over, "I'll take her." The guard merely grunted as he began to open her cage. James placed his hand on the guard's shoulder, making the being turn pale white. "I'm hungry." He pushed back the empty body and looked down at Rose, "come along darling." James slid his hands into his pockets and turned, moving towards the door and just outside, his vehicle...

Yes, I've lost my mind... Leila let a mournful sigh leave her lips for the first time in days. She was curled up in the middle of her cagewith her skirt and hair covering every bit of skin she had. She had been sticking to the back, but the guards had beat her until she moved forward where people could see her. After all, she wouldn't be sold if she couldn't be seen. She had been silent even as they hit her, moving quietly even as Keme let out a series of furious noises. Now she had fallen into a dark puddle, hiding as efficiently as possible from the customers outside and wishing more than ever she was out of there.
She closed her eyes, Keme snuggling against her cheek as she slipped away into the corners of her mind, where she was back with her old mistress, playing the piano peacefully in a room flooded with warm sunlight. Back then she had worn color instead of just her black, dancing around the house in blue and green and purple with her young mistress. Soon the shuffling of feet and chatter of the market pulled her from her memories again, and she glared at the passing men from underneith her obsidian locks with a hatred few could even comprihend. ...Daddy, looking at me
Will I ever be free?

Levina (Vina) Nari Lisha ~ Slave ~ Water Nymph  Have to try to break free
From the thoughts in my mind,
Use the time that I have,
I can't say goodbye, have to make it right... Vina slowly swim in a small circle in her tank, the water all the way to the top so she was totally submerged. everything was so much more pleasing when she was under the water; the colors magnified and smoother, the sounds dulled so that the movement of bubbles was all that could be heard. She stayed in human form this time, not wanting to give the guards reason to bother her. She caused them little trouble, so for the most part they ignored her existance. She floated towards the front of her cage for a moment, seeing the blurry shapes of people walking by, free to do as they pleased. For a moment she laid her hand against the glass the contained her, as if to caress the world outside her reach. She stayed still for a few seconds and then moved away again, flowing to the back of the enclosure as the water level began to sink, draining away magically so that rain pittered softly against the metal floor again.
She wished the mage had made the spell so that she could swim fully for longer, but she supposed that having the watewr alone was something to be thankful for. She flopped over onto her side as the water began to form small puddles once more, and let the sprinkling of moisture run over her skin so gently. Staring out into the market, she wondered if she would ever be truly happy. …Have to fight, cause I know
In the end it's worthwhile,
That the pain that I feel slowly fades away.
It will be alright.
