Who knew?
inspired by the song "Same Girl" by R. Kelly

Ring Ring Ring Ring

"Yo Dem"Axel's voice sung through the phone joyful.

"What's up Axel?"Demyx's voice rang back sound in about the same mood.

"Tonight I'm finally going to introduce you to this guy I have been seeing for the pass month. Man he is so damn fine" Axel said with a confident smile on his lips as he stared at a picture of him on his iPod.

"Really, man that is awesome! I guess I can bring my boyfriend to meet you as well," Demyx said before glancing a picture on of them together on his laptop. "Man, I think I'm really in love with this one Axel. He has the most blond hair I have ever seen. And Dude his eyes could match the sky. Oh and he has this kick-a** key like sword tattooed on his back. We even like the same ice cream. You know the sea salt kind "

"Really blonde hair... blue eyes?... key sword... Hey Dem does he happen to be about to 5'4 and have this brother named Sora, does he?" Axel said shallowing heavily at the thought of his love cheating on him.

"Yeah, why?" the voice on the other side of the phone called back with a bit of worry.

"Damn I can't believe this s**t... I didn't know you were talking about HIM" Axel groaned rubbing his face a little in frustration.

"What so you are telling me know him?" Demyx asked quickly and sharply, the worry definitely showing now along with a bit of anger.

"Do I know him? Demyx that is my guy" Axel pointed out before throwing his iPod across the room angrily.

"Your guy, that is my guy," Demyx sighed realizing finally what was going on.

"We have been missing around with the same guy" They both said in unison.

"I thought he was someone I could trust, I met him at this party on destiny island"

"But he has been doubling up on us, I met him at this club in the Land of departure."

"I asked him if he was dating anyone and he said no with no hesitation."

"Well it must be something he was practicing because he did the same thing to me!"

"he whispered in my ear, 'Can you take me home'?, that night"

"Me too! Man, he was in the club singing that same tune!"

"Look e-mail me some pictures over the IM"

"Okay" Demyx said getting up and going to his laptop and send the desktop picture.

"Look here he is shirtless"Axel said sending a picture back to Demyx. <********, man what are we going to do about this?" Demyx asked comparing the pictures.

"Let's both send him a message on Facebook telling him that we have a surprise tonight to meet then when he shows up, he is going to be looking so stupid seeing us together" Axel said with a wicked smile now.

"Yeah man, that's perfect. Meet me at the really good dine in by park tonight at eight then" Demyx said with a smirk of his own before hanging up

~~ Later at the Restaurant~~

"You ready?"Axel asked Demyx as he walked up to him on the street. Axel had on his best, and sexiest outfit tonight

"Yeah man, we are so going to bust this joke," Demyx snapped back with a big smirk returning to his face. His button up fitting his body tightly. He looked damn good.

"ummm you two look great," Roxas's voice popped up behind them making both the mullet-ed blond and the spiky red head turn around.

Of course as soon as they did the smirk wiped off their faces seeing Roxas... and Ventus standing there side by side.

Demyx looked at Axel, and Axel looked at Demyx. Both then blurted out.

"You guys are twins?!"

A high school love drama
inspired by the song "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift

Riku laid on his bed, trying not to watch his best friend pace around his room while on the phone. Being able to read lips, he could tell that Sora was talking to Kairi. By what Sora was saying, Riku could tell Kairi was upset about something. Ten to one it was something Sora had joked about. Sure, Riku could tell that Sora had been joking, but clearly the red haired girl hadn't. He sighed and stood up, walking over to his stereo. He turned on a Linkin Park cd and plopped back on his bed, working on his homework again. He had a feeling Sora would get on messenger after he got off the phone. He would talk to the brunet then.

Sure enough, about twenty minutes later Riku's computer dinged. This told him someone had signed on. He looked up at the computer to see it was Sora. The silver haired male looked over his computer to see if he could see the brunet. He could and Sora looked rather down. He double clicked on the brunet's user name and began to type. Another fight I assume? You alright? he typed before pressing send. His turquoise eyes then looked up to watch Sora's reaction.

Sora's eyes drifted from his computer to the window after getting Riku's message. He saw Riku and put two fingers to his temple, flicking his thumb down. I'm getting tired of this. he replied.

Riku sighed as he watched Sora. Kairi had really changed after the two boys returned to the island and started going to school. It was almost as if he didn't even know who Kairi was anymore. Ever since she had been made captain of the cheerleading squad and had gotten really popular she had turned into a total b***h. I'm sorry. Want to talk about it? he replied, shutting his text book and turning his full attention to the computer.

Not really.

Don't let her get to you. It'll be alright.

I know. I think I'm just going to bed now. See you tomorrow.

Night, Sora

Riku sighed as Sora signed off. He looked back out the window and shook his head slightly. The silvernet then turned his attention back to his homework, deciding it was best to finish it before going to bed. Why can't he see how I feel? That little skank doesn't deserve him. I know and understand him so much better than she does! Some day he'll see that he should be with me and not her. he thought as he began to write again. Sora had already admitted to being bisexual, so Riku didn't even think twice about what he was thinking of.

After about twenty minutes, Riku finished with his work. He shoved the paper in his book and put the book in his bag. He glanced out his window one more time before shutting the blind and changing into his pajamas. After changing he got into bed and stared up at the ceiling, still thinking of Sora. He soon closed his eyes and fell asleep.

The next morning came fast. Riku got dressed and grabbed his bag. He headed out the door, stopping in front of Sora's house. The two always walked together. They had before they were separated in different worlds and did after they returned. Well, on the days that Kairi didn't beat him to meeting Sora. Kairi never walked to school. Since she got her license, she drove everywhere. Riku's guess was that it was because the high heeled shoes she had grown fond of hurt her feet if she walked for too long. Why wear the stupid shoes if they're only going to hurt your feet?

Riku was relieved to see Sora walk out of his house. "Hey, Riku! What's up?" the brunet said as he walked toward his best friend. The two soon started walking, laughing and talking about random things as they walked.

Now this is how it should be. He seems a lot more happy. See how easy this is, Sora? You just have to get rid of her. She's not who she used to be. Riku thought, though a wide frown crossed his face as he saw a familiar car coming toward them. It was Kairi. The silvernet sighed as the car came to a stop and looked at Sora, wondering if he'd really go with her.

"Sora, I really need to talk to you" Kairi said as she looked at him. "It's really important. Could you hurry up?" she asked as she reached over to open the passenger side door. More than likely thinking she was going to apologize for what happened last night, Sora got into the car. Riku could see straight through Kairi's words though. She didn't have anything to tell him. She just wanted to get him away from Riku. Kairi knew Riku had feelings for Sora. Being the b***h she had turned into, the red haired girl leaned forward and pressed a kiss to Sora's lips. After pulling back, she smirked and waved to Riku.

Riku rolled his eyes and continued walking, getting to school much faster than Kairi and Sora. The day went fast. Again, Riku walked home with Sora. Riku couldn't help but notice Sora seemed a bit down. "You alright?" he asked. "You've been seeming kinda down lately. I haven't really seen you smile lately. You're just all frowns and that's not the Sora I know" he said. [ii]I miss that smile. he thought as he looked at the brunet.

Sora shook his head, giving a totally fake smile. "Don't worry about me, Riku. I'm fine" he said. Riku crossed his arms across his chest, clearly not believing Sora. "Really! I'm okay!" he said with a smile. "Look, I need to get home and get ready for tonight's game. You coming?" he asked.

"Of course I'll be there. I've never miss one of your games" Riku said as he continued walking beside Sora. "I'll always be there to cheer you on" he said with a wide smile. Sora actually smiled when he heard Riku's words.

"I'll see you later then." Sora said, pausing at his house. Riku kept walking, heading for the house that was right next door. "Um, Riku?" Riku paused and looked back at Sora. "Can I catch a ride with you? I'd rather not ask Kairi right now" he said in a soft tone.

Riku nodded his head at Sora's question. "Of course, Sora. The game's at six, right?" he asked. Sora nodded his head and walked up to the door. "I'll get you there by five" the silvernet said as he started toward his front door.

Riku was glad Sora wasn't going to ask Kairi to take him to the game. The silvernet looked at his cell phone to check the time. "Got an hour to do homework. Good thing I don't have much" he said as he made his way to his bedroom. He pulled out his books and began to do his work, finishing earlier than he thought. He jumped in the shower and got dressed. He checked his phone again and sighed. "I'm always early" he said, grabbing his keys and walking out the door. He crossed the lawn and stood at Sora's door. He was about to knock when the door actually opened.

"How did I know you'd be early?" Sora asked with a laugh. "I'm ready if you want to get going" he said. He was already wearing his basketball shorts and jersey so he really was completely ready to go. Riku nodded and the two made their way to the silvernet's car.

Within just a few minutes, the two were back at school. Kairi's car was still in the same spot it had been. Had she not even gone home? He shook his head slightly and got out of the car. "Does that girl think of anything other than cheerleading?" he asked with a soft laugh, following the brunet into the school.

The game went great. Sora's team had won by five points. Seeing as they lived on an island, there was only one school so in order for them to have games they had two small basketball teams. Sora seemed psyched that they had won. He ran over to Kairi, only to be swatted away as she talked to another guy from the team.

Riku's jaw dropped as he watched Kairi and Sora. He couldn't believe that Kairi was too interested in flirting with the other guy that she wouldn't even talk to Sora. He stood from his seat on the bleacher and walked to the floor, meeting Sora when he was about to walk out of the gym. Riku paused at the door and shot a glare back at Kairi, only to catch her actually kissing the guy she had been flirting with right in front of Sora's face. Riku's jaw dropped again as he saw this.

Riku didn't say anything until they reached his car. He now knew why Kairi hadn't gone home. It wasn't for cheerleading. It was for the new guy. "Sora, I have something I need to tell you. I doubt you'll like it, but just listen. I would never lie to you" he said, sighing when he saw the confused look on Sora's face. "You know that guy Kairi was with?" he asked, pausing only to get a nonverbal reply from Sora. "Well, when we were leaving I saw her kiss him beside the bleachers. She's cheating on you, Sora" he said with a frown.

Sora's jaw dropped when he heard Riku's words. He remained silent the whole trip home, looking down at his feet. Once they pulled into Riku's driveway, he looked up. He got out of the car and started to walk home without saying anything.

"Congrats on winning the game" Riku called out as he stood at his door. He heard a faint 'thanks' before Sora disappeared. Riku walked into the house and sighed. It was now about about eight o'clock. He had some time to just relax. He got to his room and sat on the bed, turning on his television. He flipped through the channels, finally finding something interesting to watch.

About an hour passed before the doorbell rang. The teenager stood from his bed and walked to the door. "I'll get it" he called out as he made his way to the front door. He opened it, shocked to see Sora standing on the porch. "Sora. Are you okay? You look like you've been crying" he said, stepping to the side to let the other male in. Sora walked into the house, instantly throwing his arms around Riku.

"I'm sorry. I just couldn't be alone. My parents are on the other side of the island on a business trip. Can I just stay with you for tonight?" Sora asked, his words a bit muffled with his face buried against Riku's chest.

"Of course you can, Sora. You're always welcome here, you know that" Riku said with a smile. He closed the door and lead Sora up the stairs to his room. Once they got to his bedroom, Riku put a cd in that read 'Sora's mix'. This cd had all of Sora's favourite songs on it. "Hold on, I'll be right back" Riku said before leaving the room. He returned with two cups of warm tea in his hands and a bag of ginger snap cookies between his lips.

Sora instantly smiled as saw what Riku had. "Oh, Riku. You always know just what cheers me up" he said with a soft laugh. He took the cup of tea as it was handed to him and began to munch on a cookie. By the end of the night, Sora was full of laughter and smiles. "Thank you, Riku. I feel a lot better now. I think I'm going to break it off with Kairi on Monday." he said with a smile.

Riku smiled as he heard Sora's words. He leaned forward, whispering softly in the brunet's ear. "Have you ever thought just maybe you belong with me?" he asked before leaning back.

Sora face turned a slight shade of red as Riku spoke. He thought for a moment before nodding his head. "I do believe you belong with me. I think I really love you, Riku" he said in a soft tone,

Riku smiled as he heard Sora's words. "I know I love you, Sora" he said before leaning forward and pressing a soft kiss to the brunet's lips. "I'm glad you finally see it" he said in a soft tone.

daisies.
inspired by "Blame It on the Girls" by Mika

"My life stinks," Axel grumbled as he plopped down beside an unknown blond at a bar. He slouched down as he ordered "A scotch on the rocks." from the bartender, handing over his gold credit card. The blond studied the redhead's attitude, appearance and all out aura for a moment before blurting out, "Dude...your perspective on life sucks."

The redhead's eyes shot over to lock with the blond's, lids pulling together to narrow into an almost-glare. "What do you know about me? Nothing. You have no right to judge me." The blond just sighed softly, rolling his eyes. Before the redhead could pick up his scotch, the blond snatched it and took a few gulps. He set the drink down, Axel grabbing it immediately after it was set down. The blond leaned back a bit on his stool, eyes closed. His hands crossed on his stomach. "Well... You've got looks that books would take pages to tell. You've got a face that'll make ya fall on your knees. Plus, you've got money in the bank to thank, and, well, I guess, you could think you're living at ease," he said casually.

Axel eyed him for a minute before taking another swig. "You can see that, though. That doesn't mean anything." The blond just sighed again. "Most people would kill for your looks and your money, ya know. You're quite the rare sight," he commented lightly. Axel smirked. "You totally think I'm hot." The blond just proceeded to, once again, roll his eyes. "Then again... You also seem like you're one of those that still doesn't know what the hell you really wanna do for your life. So, when you're wondering what the hell to do with your good looks and abundance of money, are you wishin' you were ugly like me?" he asked him, tapping the counter twice, the bartender almost instantly bringing him his usual. He took a sip of his Sex on the Beach and set it down. "You're paying for this, by the way," he said calmly before taking another sip. The redhead gave him a deadpan look; the blond just chuckled.

"Care to give another go at readin' me, Kid?" Axel dared, smirking slightly at him. "Alright, alright... You're not very secure about your sexuality," he said flatly, causing the redhead to choke on his drink. The blond snickered as Axel sputtered, looking at him incredulously. "Wh-What?! What the hell do you mean by that?!" he exclaimed, face twitching. "Well, that's why you're in here, isn't it? You're gonna just sit there and blame it on the girls that know what to do when you get into intimate situations, right? I bet you always chicken out. You're also gonna blame it partly on the boys who keep hitting on you. God knows you get both of them, and you don't know what the hell to do with yourself when it happens. Despite your appearance and attitude, you get really nervous and awkward in situations like that, don't ya?" he asked with a grin. Axel, about to respond, was cut off by the blond once again. "I'm sure you go to your mum for comfort, right? And it seems like neither of your parents would approve of you being potentially gay, am I right? So you're also gonna blame it partly on your mum for the s**t she's said to you that probably didn't really help your position at all, and on your father for the same, but considering the business suit you have on, you probably took over his big company after he died. You look a bit too young for you to climb your way all the way to the top already. And judging by the fact that that's your second glass of scotch, you probably don't have the great of work ethic."

Axel just glared at him, gulping down the rest of his second glass. Who the hell was this kid? And how the ******** could he read him so well? He felt like a pane of ******** clear as hell glass. This was ridiculous. Like, really.

"And let me guess: Your life could be simple as hell, but you have to go and ******** everything up, making it complicated. Just looking at you, I could say that you could have a wife, children--a perfect little life. But you gotta go and blow it on a bottle of scotch." "Oh, you're still talking?" Axel scoffed, shooting him a look. Roxas smiled wryly, shaking his head. "You're like a stubborn little child. You won't face what your life could be. You're always lookin' for an axe to grind. Have you ever thought about this? While you're sitting there alone wonderin' what the hell to do, are you really just wishing we were lucky like you?" the blond asked, glancing up at the other's bright greens. Axel was about to retort, but he closed his mouth, having nothing to say. Now that he thought about it...that is what he did. He always wished other people had the things he did so it would be normal. Damn...

He looked over at the smaller boy who was smiling knowingly. He sighed. "Why don't you go find someone else to bother? Pissin' me off..," he grumbled, setting his glass down adn scooting it away. The blond's smile widened. "Because you haven't walked away from me yet," he said simply. Axel blinked a few times before holding his hand out, a small smirkish-smile on his lips. "The name's Axel," he told him. The blond grabbed his hand, shaking it once in a jerk-y way. "Roxas. Mind if I make your life smell a little better?" he asked softly, caringly. Axel let out a loud laugh before looking back down into his eyes. "It better smell like ******** daisies when you're done."

"Thank you Dj"
inspired by the song "Dj got us falling in love again" By Usher

Demyx looked up at the club doors happily. He was so happy the week was over. He felt like a zombie come back to live as he walked in. The pounding music, the strong alcohol, and the dancing, man, it seemed better than life itself. Demyx had gotten through his third drink before he really hit the floor. Man, as soon as that beat dropped he threw his hands up, rocking his body from side to side. There was no control as he felt someone come up behind him. He turned around to the other drunken person. He was such a great dancer just like he was. It was like their bodies mixed perfectly. Demyx's eyes met his at that point. “Green..”he breathed, before the other pulled him to the bar.

Five drinks later, they were back on the floor his hands on Demyx's body, Demyx's hands on his body. It felt like the roof was on fire, it was so hot. His lips touched Demyx's, and He kissed back hotly. At this point Demyx really didn’t care about tomorrow, all that matter was now. “I- I think I see you before…”He slurred against his body, before Axel started nipping at Demyx's ear making him moan. “It was the eyes right?” the other breathed before they kissed again. Demyx didn't really get it, but he didn’t really give a s**t.

More drinks, then kissing, oh god, it felt so good. Demyx started to lose track of time as they danced the night way. It was long before they were making out in a Taxi going to his place. “I love you,” Demyx breathed before being lifted out the cab and carried up to an apartment. They made out the entire way there. As soon as they opened the door, they started losing clothes like they were on fire. “I love you too, Demyx” the other whispered as he kissed down Demyx’s neck. Did Demyx tell him his name? “How do you remember my name?” Demyx asked before moaning as the other rubbed his c**k. “Doesn’t matter I guess… name’s Axel….. A-X-E-L, got it memorized?” Axel told me as he kissed down my chest. “Axel….” Demyx whispered before it hit him. “AXEL!?” he screamed before sitting up and looking at the red head. “I thought you didn’t want to me with me anymore,” Demyx mumbled looking away from the red head, before he felt a hand reach up and pull his eyes back to the green ones. “What can I say? The Dj had us falling in love again,” he whispered before Demyx felt a smile on tug on his lips. “Thank you Dj…” Demyx mumbled before pushing their lips together again. Axel responding accordingly.

You're my only hope
Inspired by the song "Only Hope" by Mandy Moore

Roxas sighed as he sat at his desk. The blond song writer was having a hard time thinking of how to write the lyrics he had in his head. He groaned and laid his head down on the desk, quite frustrated with himself. "Don't sweat it, babe. Just come to bed. It's late as it is" a voice said from behind him. Roxas raised his head and looked back to see Axel laying on his side with his head propped up in his hand.

The blond frowned at this sight. He had left his partner's side once he knew he was asleep to work on his song. "I'm sorry, Axel. This song is just getting on my nerves. I've been working on it for days and it just won't come out" he said, pushing the chair back after looking at the clock. Axel was right. It was late and he probably wouldn't be able to get anything down tonight. It was just best to go to bed.

The blond walked over to the bed and laid down beside his lover. Axel draped an arm around the smaller male and hugged him. "Don't worry, Rox. You'll get it. I have faith in you" he said with a smile as he pecked the blond softly on the forehead. "Just go to sleep. I'll help you in the morning if you'd like" he added before settling down and closing his eyes.

Roxas remained awake. He didn't want to bother Axel again so he remained as still as he could. The blond did stir a bit, though he doubted it was enough to wake the sleeping red head. What he didn't know was that Axel wasn't asleep. Instead, he was merely laying there holding Roxas. "You're having trouble sleeping again, aren't you?" the red head whispered softly in the blond's ear.

Roxas jumped as he heard Axel's voice. "Dangit. I was trying so hard not to wake you up, too" he said in a soft tone.

Axel shook his head. "I wasn't asleep. Don't beat yourself up" he said in a soft tone, kissing the top of Roxas' head.

"You should get to sleep, Axel. You've got to meet the band at the recording studio tomorrow. You don't want to be tired" the blond said, raising his head a bit to look at the red head. He frowned as he saw Axel shake his head, sighing softly.

"I'm not going to sleep until you're in snoozeland" the red head said, chuckling softly. He then began to sing to the blond. His voice was beautiful. Roxas was instantly soothed when Axel spoke. He laid his head back down, curling up to his red haired lover.

Roxas' hands lifted, resting on top of Axel's. "I hope we never are separated. I want to be only yours" the blond said in a soft tone.

Axel paused. "Why do you say that? You make it sound as if one of us could die tomorrow" the red head said with a frown.

Roxas shook his head. "That's not what I meant. It is possible though. You never know when your end is. You're my only hope, Axel. You're what keeps me going every day" the blond said as he rubbed the red head's hand. "I haven't heard from Sora or Ven in ages. Not since mom's funeral. You're the only one I have left" he said in a soft tone.

Roxas then grew silent for a moment. He was thinking and it was clear on his face that he was sad. "Axel?" he asked, waiting a moment to hear the soft 'hmm?' from the red head. Once it came, he continued. "Sing me that song. The song of the stars. Of your galaxy dancing and laughing and laughing again." he said, smiling as he looked up at the red head. He then drifted off, thinking of his parents and brothers again. "Sing to me of the plans that you have for me over again" he said in a low tone, lowering his head and resting it against Axel's chest.

Axel soon began to sing again. He would do anything Roxas asked of him. If Roxas wanted him to sing, he'd sing. If Roxas wanted him to get up and make him something to help him sleep, he'd do it. If Roxas wanted him to stay by his side, he'd never step out of Roxas' sight again. He continued to sing, hoping he was lulling Roxas off to sleep.

Once the blond was asleep, Axel laid down and curled up to the blond. He lifted his hand and ran it through the blond's hair. "I pray to be only yours also. You too are my only hope. I love you, Roxas" he whispered before closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep.

Beautiful
inspired by "Beautiful" by Garbage and the story "He Gets It" by Kawaii Kisu on FF.net

Sora walked the hallways of his high school, feeling nothing like himself. He wasn't dressed how he really wanted to be. He wasn't in his own skin, and it was killing him. He wanted to be himself. Yet, he went about his day acting like he was alright. He pretended to be someone he wasn't so he would fit in--because it was easier, he thought. It was just easier to pretend than be ridiculed. Few knew about his wants. Very few knew just what he wanted to be, or, rather, who he was but was scared to show.

The first person he told was his boyfriend, Riku. God, he was so thankful for that silver-haired partner of his. He didn't know what he would do without him. Every thought that passed through his mind about his smile, the way he looked at him, everything about him made his whole body flutter for a moment. He felt like he was walking on air.

The next two people he told were his friends Kairi and Namine. They had been Riku's friends first then Sora came into his life. Now they were all four best friends. They did everything together, it seemed.

The last person he had personally told was his original best friend Hayner. He hadn't reacted quite how Sora had hoped, actually. He had more or less flipped out, but had promised to tell his original circle of friends so Sora didn't have to face them. That circle of friends included Olette, Pence, Tidus and Selphie. From what Hayner, the only one out of the five that still tried to talk to him despite his discomfort, had told him, they hadn't taken it well either. None had spoken to him since, but Hayner said they were trying to understand and get it through their thick skulls.

Sora's twin, Roxas, had found out on his own and tried his best to support him, even if he didn't understand. He didn't know what went on in Sora's head, but he tried his damnedest to make him feel even a little more comfortable.

Now, for a week Riku had noticed the drastic decline in Sora's mood. It had been eating at him and eating at him, and Riku knew. He was the only one that truly understood him. That truly understood her. Sure, Kairi and Namine knew and tried to understand, but Riku really got it.

Anyway, the silvernette had wanted to make his girlfriend the happiest girl in the world. He wanted to brighten her day as much as just seeing her face brightened his. Needless to say, the brunette was surprised when she opened her locker to find a large, baby blue sign with black bold letters across it staring her in the face. "YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL," She blinked at it for a few seconds before looking around herself, wondering if this was someone messing with her. When she looked over to see Riku leaning against the lockers with a smile on his face, though, tears sprung to her eyes. She leaped over and wrapped her arms tightly around him. "Thank you, Ri," she whispered against his shoulder before pulling away and wiping her eyes. "Don't just thank me. Thank everyone," he said before giving her a quick kiss walking off, same smile on his face. She stood there in confusion before shaking her head, smiling, and taking down the sign. She wondered what the comma was for, but figured it was just a type-o. She slid the sign into her notebook before grabbing the books for her first two classes of the day. She then hurried off to Geometry, her first block.

She blinked as she was down at her desk. A pastel pink one was taped to it. "AMAZING," it read. She had to hold back tears again as she untaped it and slid it in with the other one. She looked to her side, seeing Kairi with the same kind smile Roxas had worn. "Thank you," the brunette told the redhead quietly. She just nodded and settled herself in to her desk.

It happened again at break. There had been a light green one that read "AN AWESOME SK8R," where she and her friends usually sat on the bench. She had thanked Hayner with a small laugh. And then, there had been another in her locker. How the hell did they keep breaking in?! This one had been orange and said, "A FANTASTIC COOK,." Olette had gotten the same treatment, and had given her an apology.

Throughout the day, she had found four more. A yellow one that read "A DAY BRIGHTENER,", a red one that read "A GREAT JOKE-TELLER,", a light brown one that read, "A ROLE MODEL,", and a light orange one that read "A HARD WORKER,". By the end of the day, she was feeling much, much better. And when she opened her locker for the last time, tears not only sprung to her eyes, but they rolled down her cheeks as a hand flew to her mouth. There was one last one. She could tell because it ended in a period. It was a darker blue and stuck in her locker like the first two she had found there were. But what really struck her heart were the words that were bolded on the front. "AND THE BEST SISTER ANYONE COULD ASK FOR." When she took that down and added it to the others, she sniffled and felt someone hug her from behind. She leaned into her boyfriend's embrace. "Thank you so much..," she whispered. "Like I said, don't just thank me...thank everyone." Suddenly, there were eight more bodies smashed against hers, hugging her tightly. Riku had somehow managed to slip out of the huddle and picked up a folded piece of fabric from Sora's locker. "Sor," he called to her, willing the group to split up. When she had finally gotten her eyes on Riku, he had a tank-dress held up to her and a smile on his face. it was a light baby pink and had the words "I'M BEAUTIFUL LIKE ME." written across the front in large, bolded letters. "We want you to wear this tomorrow," he told her softly, holding up a pair of black tights that ended mid-calf and some black flats with little pink bows on the fronts of them as well. "And we want you to be happy doing it."

And so she did. She wore it all with a matching pink bow in her flattened and curled hair. And she rocked it. It was the happiest she had been in...a while. She had her friends back, she was wearing clothes that she wanted to wear, and she loved every second of it.

just wish.

inspired by "Call Me, Maybe?" by Carly Rae Jepsen

"C'mon, Sor! We gotta get back to the group or we'll miss check-in time at the hotel!" called a short blond teen with almost identical eyes as his brunette twin. "Hold on, Rox! I'll be right there!" the brunette called back before turning back towards the beautiful fountain he stood in front of. He held the painted quarter in his hands tightly against his chest. He closed his eyes firmly. Please... Please grant me true happiness.., he thought as he flung the coin into the air, the bright blue paint shining in the sunlight. He didn't open his eyes until he heard the plunk! as the object hit the surface of the water and sunk down to the bottom of the shallow pool. Forgetting how bright the sun seemed today, Sora winced as his eyes were reunited with the light. He immediately looked away from the sun, eyes landing on, instead, a beautiful shock of red. Electric green and deep, deep blue orbs were set on each other, the first with a confused expression and an eyebrow twirked, the second in utter amazement. Sora glanced down at his coin which clearly stood out from the rest in the pool, then back up at the man. He looked to be around 27 years old. He was clad in a black and white-striped T-shirt and some worn, ripped jeans. Converse dressed his feet. Blushing lightly, he hurried over to the tall man and pulled a piece of his pamphlet on Ireland off and the pen in his pocket. He jotted down his cellphone number as he stood in front of him.

"I...I know we've never met...and i don't even know if you're into girls or whatever...and I know I seem completely insane, but...this is my number..," he told him timidly, handing him the piece of paper with his name and number on it in very neat handwriting. "So...call me, maybe?" he asked hopefully with a timid smile.

"Sora, get your a** over here!" yelled Roxas, seeing the interaction. The brunette looked apologetically at the tall redhead and turned away. He was about to run back to Roxas when he felt his elbow grabbed. "Sora?" the man said in with a deep Irish accent that sent shivers down Sora's spine. "Y-yeah?" he asked, turning toward him briefly. He blushed darker at the smirk that crossed the man's lips. "Axel," he introduced himself as, giving a slight bow.

The grin didn't leave Sora's face completely until it was the night before they were leaving the trip--about two weeks later. "Rox, he's not gonna call..," Sora told him sullenly as he slowly packed his things up into his two bags. "It's not fair... When our eyes locked, I--" "'--felt the connection between us, and I swear, Rox, I've never felt anything like it before.' Yeah, I know, Sor. You've said that same thing twenty times since our first day here," he told his twin with a slightly irritated sigh.

"Sorry..," Sora mumbled to him, zipping up his first bag.

Roxas frowned slightly at his disposition. "Look, Sor. I know you may have that connection and whatnot, but even if he did call, what would come of it? We live overseas from here, Sor. It would have never worked out, and you know it."

Sora, now even more depressed, allowed himself to fall down on the mattress. "I know that, Roxas," he mumbled into the scratchy comfortor. He didn't even pay attention to his phone as he heard the general ring tone go off. He barely acknowledged Roxas answering it with a, "Hello. Who is this?" Then silence. Then the feelsound of his phone being put up to his ear. "Sor...it's for you..," he mumbled in a disbelieving voice. "Hello?" he mumbled again into the material. "Sora, right?" asked a deeply-accented voice. Sora's eyes instantly widened. He jumped up from his laying-down position and held the phone with a shakey hand. "A-Axel?" he asked, heart hammering in his chest. A heart-felt laugh tore through the line. "Would you believe I lost your number for two weeks?" could be heard through the speaker of the phone. That time Sora laughed.

"I had hoped to catch you before you had to leave, so I bloody freaked out when I lost it, and I actually just found it a few minutes ago. Heard that blond kid shoutin' about a check-in time. I figured it was for a hotel. Have you left already, or are you still in this wonderful land?" he asked, a smile in his voice. "No, we're actually leaving tomorrow morning. Our flight's at 9:15, so we gotta be there at, like, eight. It sucks..."

As the conversation grew and grew, the smile on Sora's face grew with it. They kept each other laughing throughout the whole conversation. They spoke for about three hours until Roxas rudely reminded Sora that they had to be up at seven in the morning and it was already eleven at night. The phone was hung up shortly afterwards after they said their goodbyes.

Sora slept very, very well that night.

As happy as the brunette had been that night, though, he was down in the dumps that next morning when they boarded the plane. He had tried to call the Irishman all morning to tell him they were leaving, but he never answered.

"Sor, he knows your leaving right now, so don't worry about it. You can always call him when we get back home. It'll be fine," Roxas had told him to try and ease his mind. It didn't work.

They sat silently for the thirty minutes they allowed for passengers to board the plane. Just as they were about to close the door, they were forced to open it up again for a late-boarder. Sora, with his iPod in, was very unaware of anything around him, so he didn't even know when they asked everyone to turn all electronic devices off for take-off until an elbow shoved its way into his upper arms gently. "Ow! What, Rox?!" he yelped, taking his earphones out. He turned to glare at his twin, but the passenger beside him definitely wasn't his blond-haired, ill-tempered twin. Instead it was a tall, redheaded Irishman with a deep accent and shining emrald eyes. Sora's jaw dropped. He looked to the seat across the aisle at his waving twin with a grin on his lips. "Wai... What? Why're you... But... Huh?!" he began to freak out, utterly confused.

"Sorry for the slight surprise. It took a bloody miracle to get me on this plane, I assure you," he told him with a laugh. "But for some reason, I just couldn't let you leave without me."

The moment was broken by the plane taking off, turbulance overcoming both of them. But once it stopped, Sora unbuckled his seatbelt and pounced on Axel, engulfing him in a hug. He felt like they had known each other for years... "Oh my God, you're so amazing," he told him in a squeak of a voice. He pulled back and grinned at him. "Now, we gotta figure out where the hell you're gonna live. Mom's soooo not letting me keep an Irishman as a pet."
