Captain Annxxxxxxx

Andrea was, for the moment, content to just go to her room, and sit and think all of what happened. That kiss was really starting to bug her, and why he had given in so easily. He had something planned, and she wanted desperately to know what it was, but she really doubted he would ever give it up, or tell her the truth. He'd try playing with her head first, or something of that nature. So she'd have to remain neutral, not get mad, and try and hold down her curiosity. After planning for awhile, she left her cabin, heading to the galley, grabbing some of the stew cooking, and sitting down, quickly eating, and drinking. She sat against the wall, with her legs spread out before her on the bench, watching her men, and the cook. She was waiting, hoping to get Cross as hungry as possible before she went where he was being held, and talked to him. When her second in command came into the room, he grabbed his own food, and sat down close to her. She requested he come with her to interrogate Cross, and he readily agreed, not liking the idea of letting her go alone. So when he was done, Andrea made up a plate of food for him. She had a cabin boy carry it before her, and behind her, her second mate followed her, watching ahead of them. She unlocked the door where Cross was being held, and let the boy go in first keeping a close eye on him. She hated the brig, but this was the only place she'd allow him to be in. Her eyes were cold when she looked to Cross, and motioned the boy to set the food down, watching him do just that, and push it as close to the man as he could without getting to close himself. He quickly scrambled up and left, closing the door behind him. Andrea stood with her hands on her slender hips, her eyes boring down on him. "Why did you give up so easily? That was not a fair fight. Why do you want on this ship so badly?" She spoke slowly, and indifferently, sounding as though she really didn't care about the answers. She still wanted to ask him about that kiss, but having her second mate there, made that a little difficult. He hadn't seen it, if he had, she knew he would have lunged forward to kill Cross. She wasn't blind to his affection, and she wasn't really sure she could stop him, if he tried to uphold her honor.
