OVAN is the most potent strand of this enigma, with the power to control anyone short of Ghaleon, Ovan, or the person capable of defeating them. Upon his defeat, the infection would spread from his body to his conqueror's, continuing the growth of the virus and imbuing them with immense power...while also forcing them to submit to its power and the bidding of its master. To defeat Ovan is to inadvertently, and irreversibly continue the spread of this AIDA by taking it into your own body. You will gain extreme power, but it will come at a terrible price. There are NO exceptions.)

Weapon: Demon Slice Bayonet (a Steam Gun), Tri-Edge Blade (A three-bladed sword in his AIDA-infected arm), and the AIDA-OVAN Arm (A ""third arm" that extends from his shoulder in the form of a large arm with an AIDA-infected blade at the end. The extension can stretch and retract at the will of Ovan and the AIDA, but is usually concealed beneath a giant coffin sealed with a padlock over one of Ovan's arms. This arm, coincidentally, is what makes Ovan the "True Tri-Edge" as opposed to Azure Flame Kite)
Special Abilities: Skilled magic user, Wielder of Epitaph Corbenik, Can fight at close-range or distance with his Bayonet, is imbued with the immunities of an avatar and AIDA, wields the AIDA Virus and can infect those he strikes almost instantly, taking control of their hearts and bodies, or can simply strike down enemies with a swing of AIDA-OVAN Arm.
Bio: Once simply a man named Masato Indou playing a game called, "The World", Ovan (as his character was named) became pulled into the center of a conflict that threatened the entire world. When his sister Aina was infected by AIDA and placed into a coma in the game, Ovan took it upon himself to free her. Unfortunately, his efforts were a a failure, and he became infected with the strongest strain of AIDA in existence. However unlike all the others infected, Ovan was resistant to its control due to the power of his Epitaph, Corbenik the Rebirth.
Given this new power, Ovan sought to destroy the AIDA once and for all, but could not do so by his own hand due to his infection. In fact, it would be only through his own defeat and the activation of his avatar that the virus would ever cease to exist...thus saving his sister from the peril of AIDA. For all his efforts and planning, however, Ovan proved once again unsuccessful, and at last began to lose hope of ever being free of AIDA. Then, as if he were sent by the Gods, the Emperor Ghaleon drew him (and his sister) into the world known as Gaia, promising to use his power to free them once and for all of the cursed virus in return for his service.
Unable to refuse this one chance at freedom for he and his sister, Ovan accepted the offer and became one of Ghaleon's Espada with the promise for he and his sister to be freed of his own infection once his task was done.
Personality: Ovan is a cryptic, mysterious figure whose appearances are few, but whose words and actions always carry a fantastic weight. Generally speaking in soft tones and never quite referring directly to the point when he talks, he is a figure of great debate and intrigue. Though he is generally polite and usually speaks in a familiar, albeit soft tone, sometimes it is hard to tell which side of a conflict he seems to stand upon. Also, he seems to always know a bit more than he should about any given situation.
Having progressed far beyond the level of strength necessary to defend himself against even the most powerful of enemies, and beyond the level of knowledge necessary to understand the depth of an issue, Ovan prefers to instead spend his time wandering. He travels almost seemingly at a whim, disappearing for weeks, sometimes months at a time without a trace, only to pop up again at the most opportune moment. Indeed, at times it almost seems as if he is searching for something...a greater meaning, or perhaps just an object capable of holding his interest.
There are many mysteries and questions surrounding the man known as Ovan, and chances are you'll have even more questions before you receive any answers...
