Ignis had changed him, granted Tomkin was where his parents had called home and now had more pups though he himself felt no connection to the place and certainly didn't believe in the motives behind that pack, killing other wolves for a living, not to defend oneself or ones beliefs but simply because someone else was paying you in one form or another didn't sit well with Failbhe. Failbhe, wolf slayer, Failbhe hated his name and he didn't like it shortened either it spoke of lesser things but Fail was going to make something of his life. He had originally come to Ignis to slay a wolf but it was he whom was slain, by Pyrefly. His mate stole his heart and rendered him useless for the mission; how could he kill such and enigmatic creature, she was his everything and it was she that put him in touch with his true beliefs.
However after frolicking with her peacefully and blissfully leading a life high up in the mountains away from much of the commotion of the low lands Ignis was starting to drift apart to the point where the pack finally broke down. Pyrefly seemed so demoralised by this and it pained him to see her in such a way, though he'd heard it rumoured that her father had left a good friend and his pack to form his own, perhaps returning to the lowlands and meeting a face Pyrefly could connected with would brighten her soul once more. As for Fail he simply wanted to find a pack where he could find a pack he was comfortable in and express his beliefs openly.
So it was that his paws carried him southwards followed closely by Pyrefly and their two pups.

The she wolf was firm in her new beliefs. She offered no substitute for them, and anyone around her was to abide by them. She had grown stern in her ways, as Failbhe needed her to be. Their focus was on the packlands that her parents had hailed from at one point in their lives. They had told stories of this place, and though her fear of packs made her hesitant, she had told Failbhe. While understanding of her fear, he had wanted to check this place out. She was okay with that.. for now. She secretly hoped they wouldnt stay. She didnt much believe in packs anymore. Not now that her parents pack lay in shambles all over Telk. Who knew where they were now.. But if Failbhe needed to give his spiritual guidance here, then she would stay. She loved him that much.
She kept up with him, but it was work. The pups demanded of her attentions, and had smaller legs so it was harder for them to keep up. She kept pace with them, making sure to drive them on. Her sage green eyes glittered as her sandy colored pelt shone in the sun, giving her an almost blonde appearance.
"Come along, dears. You mustn't fall behind." She said to them, she knew that if they truly tired, she would stop for them. She was their mother, and she made sure she took great care of the two.

Simbelmye walked side by side to his sister and kept pace with her, being male he was slightly large in build than his sister and would be comfortable pulling a stronger pace however they had walked many miles already and with the summers heat he was growing tried. His own paws and legs aged slightly with fatigue not to the point where he'd class himself as exhausted but enough that he'd not pass up a break for a moment or two, every so often he'd look across to his sister and smile encouragingly at her. Looking forward now he noticed his father was a good distance off, not out of sight or to a point where he felt a need to run to catch up but certainly far enough for his mother, whom was between her pups and mate to turn about and check they where still managing okay. 'Don't fall behind' she called to them, he crossed his paws; side stepping over to his sister and rubbing shoulders with her. 'Come on Sis lets close the gap a bit.' With that he trotted forwards to meet his mother and fell in besides her casting a look up at her to confirm that he was okay and then looked ahead once again and followed behind his father.Fail was focusing on the terrain rather than his family behind him, entrusting Pyre to care for the pups and to call out if she needed him. He of course hailed from Tomkin and due to the nature of the pack he travelled a fair bit. He knew a large central river ran through Telk, from the mountains in the north to the sea on the south-east coast so it was he had begun to walk south knowing at some point they'd join the river and if he judged it correctly he'd come from Ignis due south to end up between the Territories of Antianeira and YMCA, from there it was a simply matter of closely following the river to enter Draug from the north-east.
At the next rise he trotted forwards, creating a greater distance between him and his family but coming to the top of the rise he stood and looked down, a small smile crossed his maw. There not too far off was the river than fed most of the southern territories, it was one thing knowing the general geography of the island of Telk but quite another finding ones way about it and he felt rather pleased with himself for having such a good understanding of it. Taking a final look at the river in the distance he then turned to catch site of his family and he smiled at them. Slowly he walked back down the rise and came to meet them.
He smiled down at Sim and Shilo, 'You've done well, both of you, well done.' Raising his eyes then he met the sage orbs of his mate and confirmed with her, The river isn't far away, just over the rise from there it's a matter of crossing the river and then heading down into Draug, hopefully we should make it by nightfall.' He looked down at the pups then and observed the way the slumped slightly in their stance, they were tired. 'We should make the river and then take a drink, refresh ourself, take a break and then continue from there.' He knew the river would not be high in the summer months, the current should be less and therefore they shouldn't struggle with a crossing however the pups certainly needed to rest before they attempted the swim, even if he and Pyre were to carry them it'd be wise to rest himself and for Pyre.

She was tired. She would classify herself as exhausted, and it was obvious in her face. She panted heavily, slowing a bit ever few quick steps. However the need to keep up with her family and stay with her brother was strong. So strong she couldnt give up, and she'd never complain. No that wasnt her. She would push on until she simply passed out from the inability to continue.. and she hoped that would never really happen. When Sim brushed against her shoulder, she used his momentum to push herself forward. With one good push she was ahead again, and she panted to keep up.
"Okay, Ill try. Dont let me fall behind Sim. I dont wanna get lost." She said, her eyes looking a bit nervous at the idea. She was the type to worry, but never complain. That would likely be the last time she mentioned being left behind.. She simply just didnt like repeating herself.

Pyrefly watched him push himself a bit further ahead of them. She watched as he stood over that rise, looking down at what lay below. She smiled as he smiled, and she felt her heart flutter all over again. She had always been madly in love with Fail, and she always felt like a little pup whenever it came to him. He simply had that effect on her. She looked at her children to make sure they were there once more before her attention turned to Fail.
"Oh? Thats such a pleasant thing to hear. I think the cold water will feel good on the childrens paws, and would do well to quench their thirsts." She wagged her tail and smiled at him. "Hopefully the river spirit thinks highly of us today." She said, with a firm nod. She hated the thought of drowning, or losing her children, or the current being too strong. It was a huge fear in her heart and she would do what she had to to make sure that all the spirits were appeased before she did anything.
"I think Id like a break myself." She chuckled, and nodded, licking his cheek. She cast another look at the pups, and motioned them on. "Come along children, we are almost there, and we will take a break. I promise. Do momma this favor." She said, nodding at them, and then waiting for Sim to continue on.

Fail welcomed the warmth shown by his partner, as he always did and he lowered his nose and looked down at her a twinkle appearing in his eye that he promised a warmth of affection later that evening but for now he simply took the lick she gave with a smile. At the mention of the river spirits however his attentions were drawn else where. Of course how could he forget, he needed to find an offering to give to the river this would indeed aid the save passage of his family. He watched absently as Pyre gathered and attempted to raise the moral of the pups that it indeed wasn't much further however his mind was now on the task of looking for a suitable token to offer the river spirits.
'That's right Sim, Shilo not far now and we can have a rest.' He reassured them before fixing his gaze on Pyre his blue eyes confirming the fact and then turned and led the way. It wasn't hard to find, the river lay over the rise, the sight of it alone should boost the pups into making it soon knowing they could then feel it's cooling embrace in the warm summers heat and wash away there exhaustion. Fail let his paws carry him onwards in the general direction whilst his mind and eyes focused on finding a particular tree. The terrain here wasn't dense forest instead there were small groves and larger wooded areas growing up out of the fertile soil. He swung off his path, catching Pyre's eye as he did so, 'Carry on to the river, you'll see in after this rise and I'll meet you there.' With that he trotted over to one of the larger wooded areas and disappeared from sight. Sim knew his parents cared for his welfare however right now he was beyond trying to explain just how tried he was, the journey they had taken from the mountains was not an easy one for a young wolf. He did know Shilo understood though and he smiled weakly at her, 'The river should wash away most of our fatigue Sis. We'll sleep well tonight.' He looked up to his mother and with her prompting he mustered a little more energy and padded onwards towards the promise of a cooling drink and a reviving paddle. It was then he watched his father disappeared into the wooded grove he wondered whether he was going to bring them something to eat aswell.
