Her mothers return as a blessing, but then being told she had a visitor Orithia nearly cringed until she spotted Apollo slipping into the den. Part of her was glad to see him but another part of her was freaking out, she knew that she looked pretty terrible at this moment and she didn't really want Apollo to see her like this. Too late. Tail wagged slightly as he licked he cheek. "I am...alright." She assured him, though if she was perfectly honestly with herself she would have told him that she felt down right miserable. She smiled weakly at him. "Sickness has always been a part of my life." Yes it was horribly cruel to be healthy for so long only to be brought down by something new but she was quite used to being confined to the dens by one sickness or another.
Her eyes turned to her mother and Yakut. She wondered if there had been any answers found during her trip down south. At least Apollo had been brought back up...just in case. Orithia really didn't want to think about that, but she couldn't ignore the possibilities either.

Yakut took a step back to give the Queen room as well as the young male. Her eyes watched the display of affection between the two with a bit of amusement. So, her thoughts might very well be true. Even after catching the Queens concerned shake of her head Yakut was not at all disappointed by the lack of answers. Giving her head a bit of a shake Yakut casually took a step forward. "Return with no answers, but yet you also bring the answer with you." Her eyes moving from the Queen to Orithia and Apollo. "So convinced we were that it was something from the past. A childhood sickness returned, we did not think it had to do with the future." The shamaness smiled slightly before continuing. "And a future is to come. A future brought on my these two wolves."
Chances are the Queen and perhaps even the Princess would have caught on to what she was talking about by now, but Apollo - being a male and not used to Yakut's way of speech - probably was more confused than ever. "The Princess carries within her pups fathered by you." She explained while looking directly at the male before turning her attention to the Queen and Princess. "Her body is fighting against itself right now. Not uncommon during pregnancy but it shows even more in her. She will need to rest plenty and eat well. Training and duties will have to wait until her strength is regained. This will not be easy on her, but if we are lucky she will carry them to term."

Penthesilea watched Apollo's entry. She saw in the pair what her and Achilles had when they were in private. It was rare and dangerous. Before she could say anything Yakut began to speak. The Queens eyes widened a bit, yet earlier she had nearly suspected just that, only had not quite been willing to accept that her daughter had reached that age yet. So Orithia was to be a mother. The Queen was both proud and scared for her daughter. Pregnancy was tough on the body and Orithia, while recently strong, had a history of illness and weakness. All they could do was ensure she followed Yakut's instructions and remained healthy throughout.
Stepping forward she gave her daughter a nuzzle. "All will be well. You must do as Yakut says, rest and eat. What is important is your health right now. We will ensure you have everything you need." Stepped back she smiled at the pair. "Congratulations." Then she turned to Yakut. "Let us give them some time alone." And with a final glance at her daughter the Queen slipped from the den, Yakut following closely behind to allow the two time to fully adjust to the news - and herself as well.

Apollo found himself struck dumb by the words of Yakut..an his eyes swung to Penthesilea as though expecting some sort of angry comment from the queen..but no such comment came and the two older wolves instead left them alone - something for which Apollo was very grateful as he turned to Orithia. "Don't worry...I'll take care of you, I've seen a few expecting mothers back in my home pride and I've even helped take care of pups before..everything will be fine" He soothed his mate..he was still in shock over the news sure but Apollo was more worried about Orithias weak state at the moment and thought that keeping her calm and relaxed would be for the best.

Much like Apollo Orithia was left dumbstruck by the news that she was pregnant. Honestly it shouldn't have been that shocking, her and Apollo were mates and well...they did things that mates did, but to hear her supposed sickness was actually pregnancy was a bit shocking. Well at least it wasn't some new horrible disease ravaging her body. Apollo's words barely registered as she laid there staring at the wall of her den. She was going to be a mother. Of course she knew Apollo would take care of her, why wouldn't he, but no reply came from her right now.
----
Pregnancy turned out to be extremely taxing upon her. When Yakut had instructed her to rest and take time off from training and duties Orithia had not expected that to last her entire pregnancy. Her time over the weeks was spend resting in her den, resting outside of her den, eating plenty, taking strengthening herbs, followed by even more resting. Training and duties were but a faint memory at this point, but at least she had Apollo and other around to help stave off boredom.
When the time finally came Orithia found herself scared beyond anything to bring these new lives into the world. With Apollo beside her and Yakut and her mother there should anything go wrong Orithia birthed three large and healthy pups. After ensuring that the last pup was indeed the last of the litter the Queen and Shamaness slipped out from the den, allowing the princess to rest and spend time with her children and mare. It had been utterly exhausting and it would likely be days before her body would fully recover from the experience but the three bundles of fur at her side made it all worth it. Two sons and one daughter. No where near as impressive as the litter she had come from but that did not matter at this time. She had managed through it all and a single daughter was good enough. These three lives were precious to her. Name would need to be given, but her mind and body were far too exhausted at this point to even considering doing so. Pressing her head against Apollo Orithia let out a sigh of content.

Apollo had alternated between stressing out himself and attempting to comfort Orithia whom was clearly in allot of pain throughout the entire birthing process, he was glad when it was over....and more then glad for the three puppies she had birthed, they were good strong pups and Apollo was sure that they would grow into equally strong good adults.
The fact that there had been only one female was something he was sure the other wolves would comment on in hushed tones - but given how hard Orithia's pregnancy had been and her history of illness Apollo thought three was a good number, had she given birth to a large litter he would have feared for her body's ability to support them all - and surly one girl was better then none, his own mother likely would have killed for a single female in her litter. No he was happy with the litter and by Orithia's contented sigh he could tell that she was happy as well. Pillowing his head against his mate he gave his own sigh...once Orithia had rested they could discuss some names.
