Name of Skill: Pyro Uppercut
Description of skill: The user's fist emanates with fire and unleashes an uppercut to his or her target, causing 1st degree burns to whatever body region it connects to.
Cost: not sure
Prerequisites: 20 points in fire

In the case of attacks though, what stops someone who has Fire A from just covering their hand in fire and punching someone, you know?
Skills should be unique things that cannot be achieved through the use of essences, in my opinion.

Name of Skill: Shadow Jump
Description of skill: Allows the user to teleport medium distances through shadows. The user cannot use their own shadow, and can only bring themselves and a small amount of equipment through the shadow.
Cost: 2000 extols
Usability: Can be used at any time to travel a maximum of 100 feet.
Prerequisites: None

Name of Skill: Natural Armor
Description of skill: Your skin becomes as tough as steel, making it much harder to be injured. This skill also allows you to place armor abilities on yourself.
Cost: 300 extols
Usability: Always active.
Prerequisites: None

Name of Skill: Natural Weapon
Description of skill: This skill improves the strength of your natural weapons (for instance claws, teeth, fists) so that they are as strong as a normal weapon. This skill also allows you to place weapon abilities on your natural weapons.

Name of Skill: Lightning Strike
Description of skill: You become a lightning bolt, striking out at your enemies almost instantaneously. You move in a mostly straight line, darting between enemies, (Maximum five. More targets can be purchased for 500 extols)
Cost: 2500 extols
Usability: Not sure right now
Prerequisites: B lightning

I was thinking maybe introducing some skills that can be upgraded, like being able to hit more targets, increase duration of ability, decrease cooldown and whatnot. Are the number after cooldown the number of posts you have to do before you can do the ability again? I've seen it set up like that before.

SPACEOh, that's a neat idea. Also yep, exactly. Cooldown is the number of posts because you can use the ability again.

Name of Skill: Judgement
Description of skill: The shape of a cross forms at your center(chest) quickly expanding in a six yard radius and striking any opponent in the vicinity with light based energy
Cost: 2000
Usability: 10 CD
Prerequisites: Light B


Name of Skill: Guardian Angel
Description of skill: Forms a shield of light around caster and allies protecting them from damage for a short period of time
Cost: 3000
Usability: 3 turn use with 12 turn CD
Prerequisites: Light B


Name of Skill: Holy
Description of skill: l sends down the might of the heavens on a single target as the skies light up a pale white before delivering a downward beam of pure destructive light energy.Alternatively leeches out the targets energy in it's aftermath releasing small orbs of light like fireflies and healing all allies for a small amount.Or a single ally collectively. Unfortunately caster is not able to heal himself.
Cost: 3500
Usability: 1 turn use 15 turn CD
Prerequisites: A light.




Name of Skill: Dancing Wind
Description of skill: caster causes large concentrations of wind to form in the palm of his hands effectively creating miniature tornadoes once caster is satisfies with the amount of strength gathered he rises into the air and slams his palms together causing a controlled and concentrated double tornado of wind
Cost: 3000
Usability: 3 turn use 15 turn CD
Prerequisites: Wind A


Name of Skill: Mist
Description of skill: The act of vaporizing the surface of water to create a shield of blindness. Only caster is able to see through the mist.
Cost: 1500
Usability: 5 turn use 7 turn CD
Prerequisites: Water B

Name of Skill: Mist: Assassination
Description of skill: Mist slowly wraps around the target as it becomes compressed and effectively chokes the target by forcing itself down the targets throat and nose.Causing a drowning effect.
Cost: 2000
Usability:1 turn 10 turn cd

These are some great abilities but I want to go over them one at a time and tell you what I think.

Judgement: pretty cool attack its a bit lack luster I don't mind.

Guardian angel: Pretty much already a skill of Light B as is, " Form a shield of out light. (Cooldown: 1) " I made the essences for the post part general so that you could put some creative license into it. I'm gonna have to say a pass on that skill.

Holy: badass. nnnnnnnnyyyyyaaa Badass. Thumbs up.

Dancing wind: Same issue with the other skills with Wind B you get "Create a tornado that deflects attacks as it attacks the enemy with sharp wind. (Cooldown: 3) " which is very similar so we are gonna pass on that one as well.

Mist: I'll think about that one because light B has that ability Create a blinding light that distorts vision and hearing. (Cooldown: 2)"

mist assassination: OP that's a godmod yo. so we can't do something like that if it can't be avoided.


All in all a few of those are amazing, I really like Holy. But for the rest all you need is a bit of creativity *which you got plenty of!* in order to create for the most part what you have here. As a general rule of thumb all of the A rank Essences are fundamentally different meaning you can create your own super special attacks using it.
