NEW Universe. NEW characters. NEW plot. NEW rules.
Long story short, I'm clearly too OLD to be part of this NEW regime. Doesn't matter that the owners are OLD friends of mine. Doesn't matter that I answered all their objections. Doesn't matter that I don't have all the time in the ******** world to magically pull a brand new character, with a brand new story, out of my a**, because I actually -work- for a living. Sure, you might be in school full-time, but what does that really amount to? You sit in a desk, listen to a teacher drone on, doodle on the corner of your notes... if you're that active. But oops! Here comes somebody who works 7 days a week, averaging about 65 hours every week. Here comes somebody whose interests aren't part of the same narrow scope yours are. Here comes somebody who, -Gasp!-, isn't you.
Let's start a witch hunt!
And speaking of witch hunts... When did it become acceptable, not just to attack the President of the United States, but to threaten anybody who voted for him? I believe the exact statement was: "Anybody who votes for Obama in 2012 needs to be sterilized so they can't breed. Even if it means standing behind them at the polls and snipping them from behind."
Disagreeing with a political viewpoint is one thing. But outright attacking someone because of it? That's only a small hop from attacking someone based on their religion. How many times has that happened in the past, and how many times has it been a good thing? Such notable instances of said "wacky fun" include:
- The Crusades
- The Salem Witch Trials
- World War 2
- The war we've been in for the last ten years
Seriously. Hasn't anyone besides me had about enough about this? Aren't we pretty tired of dying because somebody can't get along with somebody else?
Aren't we tired of saying, "No, you don't fit in. Go away and get shot."
God knows I'm ******** sick of all of it.

inochi tsukiru made...~The only issue I have with your rant is your last bullet point. The war you're referencing there doesn't count. That started because Al Queda attacked us. You might not be saying this, but it sounds like you're saying we shouldn't have gone after them. Because lying down and letting them keep flying planes into our buildings and bombing our subways and everything is fine; eventually they'll just wipe us all off the face of the earth. Poof. No more America. And that's bad, right? They deserve their right to rip us apart without fighting back. That's what you're saying. There's no persecution in that war. That's stopping them from coming back into power and bombing us and hijacking our planes again. Those soldiers fight to keep us in the states alive and free, not because they enjoy killing muslims for "wacky fun".
EDIT ::: I lie. I have one more issue. Some of us go to school full-time, run extra-curricular activities, and tutor on the side. We don't just doodle on the side of our papers, we actually work. Maybe it's not as taxing physically as a "real job", but we still do just as much, if not more, taxing work mentally. I pray to protect the bright world,
where everyone can smile.

THE WAR STARTED BECAUSE SOME SICK ******** COORDINATED AIRPLANES CRASHING INTO IMPORTANT NATIONAL BUILDINGS! The Pentagon, The Twin Towers, 9/11, Flight 92? Does any of that mean anything to you? People from all over the world died in those attacks. There were military orders to shoot down planes in certain areas to try an protect people's lives. yeah, war sucks, but what were we supposed to do, Jack? Lie down and let them do it again? War is an unfortunate part of our history, as is violence. But it's also unfortunately how we learn, how we became a free country, and how we finally stopped Hitler murdering huge amounts of people. And by the way, The Salem Witch Trials weren't a ******** war. Those were Catholics persecuting people who behaved differently out of fear. That isn't politics, that is religion. There's a little thing called the separation of Church and State in this country. Please learn it, and don't drag it into a rant about politics, mmm'kay? Please, next time do your homework. Your examples are ignorant, and you've just been corrected by two people younger than you.

Y'know what? ******** it. There's no point giving people a sanctuary to vent if they're going to be attacked for it. This whole forum's being taken out.
