It was cool and breezy outside, only warmed by a bright sun. The leaves shook and whispered as the wind blew threw them and knocked them from their branches. Everything was starting to turn colors in preparation for fall, and it was absolutely beautiful.
Summerwood was unique in it's freedom for dogs. Kaisey did not need to have a human with her to take the small trek down the dog park, and she didn't get any funny looks for it. She was just a normal dog who knew her way home and would venture back before the sun set. It was freedom that many cherished, and that she exercised often. It was too beautiful out not to enjoy it in the lush vegetation of the park.
She picked up her pace as she saw the familiar blue benches and barrel trashcans. Her paws thudded as the hit the packed dirt trail that wound through the park. This felt good. It felt like an amazing day.Quote: This RP takes place in one of the parks in the neighborhood. It is fall and the leaves are changing color. It's a bit chilly! This RP is for anyone with a dog. Just about anyone could end up in the park. If you come here looking for a fight, please be aware that there are probably humans about who would end it quickly. You can have your humans accompany your dog, but try to RP from your dogs perspective and keep the dog the focus of the RP.

Eireann wanders into the park, jumping up and down out of the big leaf piles and when he was out of breath, he sat there looking at the leaves.
The ffalling leaves look like they set the trees aflame and they would even look so amazing when the sunsets. But that is not until hours away.
Eireann looked down a dirt path and decided to walk around the park to exercise and explore a bit before the time comes.
Jumpinh out of the pile of leaves, hit finally made it to the dirt path and walked on down.

He was excited! His person had brought him outside to waste a little energy. Odin looooved being outside! And going to the park. Oh yes yes! The park! There were always new dogs to meet there. New friends to play with. He could hardly walk with his person without straining at the leash he wore. Several times his person had to tug him to heel. Something that Odin did easily enough. But just as quickly he was pulling at the end of his leash again.
Then...they were there! His tail wagged frantically and he whined until his person unhitched the leash. And Odin was off, bounding around the park, barking cheerfully. It was so nice out! The weather was cool. It was all just right!
A sharp whistle had Odin stopping suddenly, ears and tail erect. Looking back at his person, the husky raced towards him, wriggling with too much energy as he produced a ball. Ooooh chase! He liked chase! He also liked pulling sleds. And his fellow sled team. But for now, BALL! Odin raced after the ball his human threw, losing sight of it as it landed and bounced into a pile of leaves.

Finally! Oceana was back at the dog park. Her owner kept forgetting to leave the dog door open. Guess he finally figured out how easy it was for a dog her size to jump the fence. Trotting into the dirt path that lead to the dog park, her ears pricked forward, wondering if she'll see any of her friends today.
Giving herself a good shake, she trotted into the dog park. The first thing she did was lay down, rolling in the cool dirt. Boy did she miss this. Standing, her body shivered as she got the extra dirt off before looking around for something to do in the park.

The first dog Kaisey saw was a little corgi walking in her direction down the path. He was a handsome little thing, but Kaisey often found beauty in all forms; it was rare that she was actually enthralled enough even consider a relationship. she kicked up her pace again, closing the distance with a wide sweeping wag of her tail.
"Hey there," she called sweetly. She didn't get to say much more though, because a vibrant green tennis ball that hurtled passed. Oh man! Catch! She loved catch. The freedom of running. Wind through her thick coat. Ohhh!
She peered at her new acquaintance, paws dancing with the need to chase after her new distraction. "Well, come on then," she encouraged. Without explaining what she meant, and simply expecting the corgi to know and follow, she dashed off with powerful bounds. Oh man. She needed to get that ball. Hopefully the ball's dog (why yes, and dog could belong to a ball), wouldn't mind!

He raced along trying to find the ball, stupidly watching the air instead of the ground. The ball wasn't airborne any longer so...where had it gone? Odin looked forward and saw another dog running. Ooooh did she know where his ball had landed? Was she chasing his ball? Odin barked excitedly, tail wagging as he ran up along side the female (he thought he might have caught sight - or jumped over - another smaller dog too).
"HI HI! Have you seen BALL? Have you seen it?" Odin asked, eyes darting around searching for the tennis ball.
"BALLLLLL!" Odin whined trying to find it.
Oh wait, the female! "You can help find ball?" Wait. That wasn't nice, was it? No no. He was supposed to introduce himself first. Then he could ask for help. Right? Maybe...
"Odin. Help find ball?" Alright, he wasn't the brightest crayon in the box. And he'd completely missed his ball while talking to the female. The pretty female.
