That jerk. The both of them. Stupid Jett and his stupid…date with that stupid girl.
Raven walked towards her car, head down in frustration and sadness. How could he just cheat on her like this? They had been dating, right? He told her they were going to go to the museum…go out for lunch…They had such a good time in that museum that night.
Raven had been honestly looking forward to seeing the exhibit in the daylight. She was excited to go to the museum with Jett, to hold hands with him in their civilian forms, laughing and talking, getting to know one another more and more.
They belonged together…that was why they were both chosen to become Dark Mirror Senshi, chosen to join the winning court, chosen to serve their wonderful Princess. He had to know that. She was the right one for him, not someone who wasn’t special in any respect…
The blonde grew quiet until she pulled into her driveway, getting out of her car and slamming the door shut. It figured, though. It figured that Jett would do something stupid and just plain…mean like this. It seemed to be in his nature.
Oh well. It wasn’t like he really meant anything to her. Raven’s face fell even more and she opened the door, walking into her house. “Mom, Dad. I’m home.”
Her parents were in their study, and they didn’t even seem to notice Raven had said anything. She shook her head, disgusted, then walked up the stairs, face contorted in thought. Maybe she would just go back to her claim to be dating Darwin. He was a nice guy, right? Yeah. A super nerd, and there wasn’t anything really special about him…he was just a normal guy.
Which seemed so boring now.
She flopped onto her bed, face smooshed against a pillow. “It’s just my luck. The guy that I’m completely head over heels for…who is totally perfect for me, he’s strong, handsome—my god like drop dead handsome…but he was on a date with someone else. Like a big, stupid, stupid, stupid, jerk.”
What should she do to…to fix this? Could it be fixed? Why did he kiss her? Did their kiss really mean nothing? Sure, the one in space might have meant less than the one in the museum…but the one in the museum meant a lot to Raven. A whole lot. More than he would ever know, probably.
What was so special about that girl anyway? The blonde sat up, glaring at her reflection in the mirror. What was so special about her? Was she just a slut or something? She had only known Jett for two weeks, and she said so herself. Why would you—Darwin aside—why would you kiss someone you didn’t know well? That you didn’t have feelings for? Or if you deluded yourself to have feelings for someone…Why wouldn’t you bother asking if they were dating someone else or not? How thick could you get?
She would pay.
The thought formed in Raven’s mind and caused her to break into a smile. That was right. She had something that Minty didn’t have. She had power, strength. She would use Minty for her energy. Yup. Not tonight. No, she wanted to plan this out. Besides, Revenge can’t be taken in haste.
She would prove to Jett that she was the worthy one, not Minty. Never Minty.
With that thought, the blonde flopped back down on her bed, hugging a pillow close. This plan was perfect, and she was excited to carry it out.
