Any ideas or just thoughts that need be written down can go here to keep them all in one place. The beginnings of things, story or RP ideas, philosophical thoughts...anything.

Me and Roxas got sent to an orphanage when we were six because, well, our Ma wasn't too motherly. She was found to be "unfit" by the law, thus, we were swept away to a place that gave hope that someone else would want us. As far as we knew, we were the only twins there. We sat by ourselves for weeks. We only spoke between ourselves, comforted each other... Then a bully by the name of Seifer and his friend Fuu, roughly two years older than us, started picking on us. Said we were weird because we looked alike. "Two people shouldn't look that much alike. It's creepy," he reasoned. I, of course, started crying. I'd always been a bigger crybaby than Roxas. Always. He, in turn, comforted me and told me not to pay attention to him. "He's just a big bully." We had both looked up to see our saviours. The tallest one that was standing between his two friends, a redhead with the wildest hair anyone could have, just stood with his arms crossed. His hair was massive, really. Hadn't he ever gotten it cut? "Knock it off, Seifer," he'd said with sarcasm in his voice. I'd learned what sarcasm was from my mom. "Take your girlfriend elsewhere, Fuu. Leave them alone." This time it was the silver-haired one to the right of him. He had his hands in his baggy jean pockets. I'd always thought his hair was really pretty. "Yeah. They're cute. I'm glad there's two of them," squeaked a scraggly-looking dirty blond to Axel's over side. His left, obviously. This one's hair was a mess, too, but much shorter. He was also covered in head-to-toe with dirt. He had to have been on the playground for hours before. Me and Rox avoided that playground at all costs. Too many people. Too many stares. Anyway, that blond stood with his hands on his hips, shoulders tensed. Seifer had just given them a dirty look and scrammed with Fuu following slowly behind him. then the three turned towards us. I think all five pairs of our eyes widened at the same time. Demyx's were a gorgeous mediterranean blue that we had never seen before. Riku's were more of a seafoam green. The colour of a beautiful shallow end off of a barrier island or something. Then Axel's. Thos were the ones that took my breath away. They were a striking green. Like acid. They bore into my being, and I could feel the hole getting bigger and bigger... Such as we were mesmerized by their eye colours, they were caught up in ours. Our wide, deep blue eyes and their ranges of greens just stared back and forth until the dirty blond held out his hand with a happy grin. "Hi! I'm Demyx!" he had told us. He was so friendly, we had thought, so I shook his hand and smiled back with a small nod. We soon thereafter had found out that the redhead was Axel, and the silvernette was Riku. Then Roxas told them our names. From that day, the five of us were inseparable. Axel and Demyx had been there for roughly three years. They were nine--three years older than us. Riku had only been there for one year. He was eight. We all shared our stories, then. Riku's parents had been, sadly, killed. He had no more known relatives. Demyx's parents couldn't put up with him anymore, so they put him up for adoption. Axel's dad...didn't like him. He had been brutally abused when the police came after someone called them, hearing his screams. His mother, not being able to afford to feed them both, regretfully put him up for adoption as well. They both loved each other very much, but...there was no other way.

We had always gone and tried to hide when someone came to adopt. We didn't want to be split apart. The five of us always wanted to stay together. It wasn't until two years later that Riku was adopted. Riku and I had grown really, really close. I had been close with the other two, but Riku was my best friend other than Roxas. There was a lot of screaming and crying that day. From both of us. The next to go was Demyx about three months later. Then...the worst happened just two months later. Roxas had been adopted, but...but I hadn't. there was even more screaming then. We were twins, for Christ's sake! How could you tear us apart?! They couldn't afford to have both of us, so they just had Roxas. So then it was just me and Axel. We had grown particularly close after that. He was all I had. I was all he had. It took us two months to get over that. Both of us. I never truly got over it, because he was my twin. We always had each other, and then he was gone. A year after Roxas was adopted, Axel's mother had come to get him back. She had gotten a very stable job, and actually had bought her own house. She got herself back on her feet by herself just so she could have her Axel back. I remember watching with big, watery, lonely eyes as Axel and his mother embraced each other. "I'll miss you, Sor," was all he told me as we hugged. He had looked at me with sad but hopeful eyes before he left with his mother. And then...there was just me. Even Seifer had been adopted. I felt so unloved. From then on, I just sat in a corner quietly by myself. No one ever spoke to me or even looked towards me. Why did no one love me..?

Three years later, I was twelve years old and still sitting in my corner by myself. I was reading a book, though. I had taught myself words to broaden my vocabulary. The caregivers there never tried to teach us anything, really. I was forced to learn on my own. I liked to learn, I found. It made me feel smart. It made me feel above everyone else there so I wouldn't feel so small anymore. I also liked to read to the smaller kids. I liked to help them and feel like I was making a difference. It made me happy, actually put a smile on my face. Three years after that, I was sitting alone again. I wasn't reading this time. No, I was just thinking. I would have been entering high school by then. I knew a lot now. I had self-taught chemistry equations and history. I was great at the English language, I figured out. It was mostly just patterns and memorization. I was really good with memorization. I also started to draw and write. I liked to see my ideas down on paper. I even wrote some of my own books for the kids to read and play with. I would create covers with spare pieces of cardboard and bind it all together with some string or thread I found lying about. They loved them, really. And they knew to be careful. ...Maybe I would do really well in high school. I think I would. It was summer break right now for the kids with families, I had thought. Then I thought about Axel and Demyx and Riku. Axel and Demyx would be going into their senior year. They would be graduating and going to college. Riku would be going into his...tenth grade year? that was my guess. Then I thought of Roxas. Roxas would be going into his freshman year... I would be, too, if I wasn't stuck here, was what had crossed my mind. "Sora," I heard my voice called and looked up at the kind woman I had almost befriended at the orphanage. I blinked a few times and walked to her. "Someone's here to adopt you," she told me with happiness and tears in her eyes. My jaw went slack. Really? "Really? Someone actually wants me..?" I remember whispering in disbelief. I had been in that place for almost ten years, and someone finally wanted me. She had nodded and led me into the small adoption office where two kind-looking woman sat. One had short-cropped silver hair that was kind of fashioned into a mohawk. She wore darker clothes than the other who was very, very brightly-coloured. Her hair was ridiculously long and such a bright blond it was almost yellow. There was an explosion of accessories all over her. Their names were Paine and Rikku. I teared up at the name, remembering my friend... We had been so damn close to each other before we were ripped apart. Then, they had hugged me. Both of them. And they announced that they were going to be my new parents. I was ecstatic and let my genuine smile finally shine through.

I remember saying goodbye to all of the children. I told them to keep the books so they could read them all over and over as I slung my bag over my shoulder. We had a group hug, then I left with my two loving mothers.

All of the memories... Everything flashed through my mind as I walked through the front doors of my new high school. I was supposed to be a freshman, but when they tested me in, they found me to be more intelligent than anticipated. They moved me a grade up. I was a sophomore now, and I was really, really nervous. How the hell did public school even work? I looked down at my schedule in my shaking hand. I had AP Biology first block, honors geometry second, AP English third and AP Art fourth. It was official. I ******** loved my schedule. I squealed on the inside and bounced on the balls of my feet in happiness, grin plastered across my face and eyes shining brightly. Apparently AP Art was only meant to be a junior or senior course, but they put me in it because my moms had told them about my amazing drawing ability. And my AP English class was actually a junior class. I was the only sophomore in there.

I was currently waiting for my "senior escort" to get there to guide me around the school. I hadn't spoken to anyone over the age of seven other than my moms and the wonderful woman at the orphanage since Axel had been adopted. Needless to say, I was nervous.

"Who's the lovely individual I'm set to escort?" called a grown, sarcastic male voice smoothly as he rounded the corner into the lobby. He stopped in front of me, then, eyeing me down. "You the kid?" he asked with a grin. "You look a bit too happy to be here, so I'm guessing...so..," he said, trailing off a bit slowly at the end. "Uh...why ya starin' at me like that? I mean, I know I'm gorgeous and all, but--" "There's no w... A-Axel..?" I had asked, my eyes wide as I stared up at him, jaw slack. Yes, he had the bright red, wild (yet slightly more tame) hair I remembered. Yes, he was still really freakin' scrawny. But what really made me know it was him were the acid-like green eyes looking back at me. "Wa-- Sora?" he asked, suddenly taking in the eyes and chocolate hair, I had guessed. And the bubbly disposition. "Oh, my god! Axel!" I squealed, jumping up and hugging him tightly, allowing him to spin me around as he squeezed me tightly. I could only laugh happily, hysterically, and let the tears pour down my face. He set me on my feet and grinned down at me. "When the hell'd you get adopted?" he asked excitedly. "Like, two weeks ago! God, I love my moms so much, too," I told him in excitement. Then we shared another tight hug. We were like long-lost brothers, man. Speaking of... "You...you haven't seen Roxas any, have you?" I asked him softly. He got this sad smile on his face and shook his head. "Sorry, Sor... I still say it was a b***h move on their part." I knew he meant Roxas' new parents. I smiled slightly and gave him a shrug. "It's okay. I'm sure he's happy with his family. So...what a coincidence it is that you were set to be my escort." He grinned and nodded. "Where would you like to go first, good sir?" he asked me with a smirk. I couldn't help the light pink tint my cheeks had that went unnoticed by me when he gave me that look. He linked his arm with mine. "Oh, wherever shall we go?" I asked in a soft, mock-southern bell voice, waving at my face with my schedule. He snatched the paper up from between my fingers then. "Hey!" I yelped, trying to get it back, only to have my hand swatted away as he looked over the thing. "Damn...you're smart, kid. You learn it all yourself? God knows that place didn't teach you s**t." He gave me a s**t-eating grin. I returned it. He continued. "They bumped you up a grade and put you in higher-level classes. You're a ******** genius, I swear." He ruffled my hair. I knew it brought back memories for both of us. "Well, since I'm a lazyass and decided to wait 'til senior year to finish up my maths, we just so happen to have honors geometry together, Sor," he told me. It made me smile. "There's also someone else in there with us I'd like to...introduce you to," he said in a tone of voice that made me suspicious. "Speak of the Devil..," he mumbled as a voice suddenly began singing a song at the top of its lungs. It sounded male and...familiar. I listened...and listened some more...then my eyes got huge and a grin spread across my face. I scurried to the end of the hall the voice was coming from and looked down it, seeing a retreating dirty blond. "Demyx!" I yelled before running towards him. Startled, the blond "eep!"ed and turned around with wild, confused eyes. He actually kind of had a hairstyle now, I mused as I ran to him. About ten feet from him, his eyes finally lit up in recognition. "Sora!" he squealed, and we did the same thing Axel and I had done just minutes ago. "We have geometry together!" I told him excitedly as I was being set down once again. "Sweet!" he exclaimed, hugging me again. I loved this feeling. I loved havivng friends that still remembered me even after years had passed. "Dem! You should totally ask Mr. Baron if you can walk with us," called Axel's voice as it neared us. Demyx nodded hyperly and grabbed my hand, dragging me across the school with Axel jogging behind us to the band hall. He poked his head in with a grin. "Mr. Baron?" he asked his teacher, "Can I help my friend show my friend around? He's new, and I haven't seen him in years. Pleaaaaase?" he asked, almost pleading. I heard a laugh then an acceptance to the idea. "Thanks, Mr. Baron! You're the most amazing choir teacher ever!" he squealed. He shut the door then turned and grabbed me and Axel into a group hug. "Axe! Where's Riku first block?" he asked. No way! Riku was here, too?! "Physics, I'm pretty sure. He took it with Zexion, I think." I was being dragged again. This time, in the opposite direction. I had a feeling I would have to get used to this. Demyx was much more hyper than he used to be. Which was crazy. "Mrs. Neal? Can we see Riku, please? We're trying to help escort a new student around and don't know where all of the AP classes are," asked Axel this time, a warm smile on his face. He, apparently, loved this teacher. And the teacher loved him as well. Total teacher's pet. Riku walked out of the classroom. "What the hell do you guys...want..," he started before trailing off as he saw me. "Riku..," I whimpered as tears welled up in my eyes. I flew at him and hugged him tightly around the neck, feeling his arms wrap back around my waist and hold me for dear life. I felt him bury his face in my shoulder. Then I felt his body shaking with sobs. "I-I missed you, too, Riku," I sobbed as well, tightening my grip on him.

User Image"So you'll never guess what happen to me today!" My little sister gleamed up at me. Her bright red hair was enough to turn anyone's head, but as if the powers that be knew some would grow accustom to her color, they gifted to the little girl a sweet, but loud, voice. It was velvety like silk and soft like a rose petal, but it could carry through many a hall when it needed to. Needless to say, she loved to use it as well. Stating that you couldn't get a word in with her would be a gross understatement. Though it wasn't a bad quality, the little girl with the bright red head was known to be quite the charmer with her words.

"I was walking on the beach, and I found a little bottle with a letter in it! Can you believe it! I didn't think anyone actually did that, and how would even know it would get to someone and not sink or something?? Anyways, the trouble with it is that I can't get the bottle open. I don't know that we do, but do you think we have a bottle opener laying around big brother?"

That is how it all started. My dear little sister found this bottle on the beach. She laughed at the letter. She got a good chuckle out of all the words. She didn't see pass the surface of the letter like I did. I don't know how I even did besides pure coincidence. After she went to sleep that night, I pulled back out the letter.... I spill water on the letter all on accident of course... but what it revealed.... I can't get it out of my mind..... I can't even get it out of my momentary thoughts.....

To the world and who it may concern,

Colors don't seem like colors anymore. The world is rain dripping from my cheek day by day. The people are turned away by my love for the colors gone away. Empty, Empty glass you laugh at me. Mock me for you are full of treason for your country and for your pitiful existence. They drink you in, and every time they believe with conviction that the outcome will be different.... You know better. I knew better once too, but I pushed it away for my love. I pushed everything away. Even you. Do I sound daft? Maybe you aren't sane enough to understand my words. They are as plain was the nail through my hand. Painfully they poke and prod away at me... they too betray my will to live....

Come away to me and I will show the existence of words. The breath that gives life to the walls and floor boards. You'll know you have found the place when consciousness leaves you for something better... Where the colors go to hid your body away. You'll never wish for gray again...

Signed Your One True Love.

‘There comes a time in everyone’s life when they realize they either fit into society or they realize they will never fit into society. Some people don’t fit, but they are constantly trying to force themselves into that mold that society wants them to fit into. Others… well, they enjoy being the outcast. They enjoy the realization they will never fit into the frame that society tries to box them into. They are the rule-breakers, the earth-shatterers, and the creativity in the world. They are the people who sin boldly, and don’t let things like consequences dictate their lives.

In this world, most people either have their blinders on to these people, or they seek to destroy them. They call them troublemakers and ship them off to places of cruelty and discipline. They try and take away their souls and tell them they are worthless, but they even know in the back of their mind they will never truly win. There will always be that one person who continuously defies them, if for nothing more than to prove there is a place that exists outside of the idea society sets for itself. It doesn’t matter that they label these rebels, monsters or rejects. They know the truth. They know they are really the heroes and the people who transcend beyond their expectations.

In my world, I don’t just transcend beyond expectations, I transcend reality. I transcend all known understanding and explanation, but no one knows. People think they know, but they don’t. You see, I’m placed into this special category of people, but I am even above that explanation… not that they are aware, of course. Even in this place of spectacular wonder, I am different, and I have been different for as long as I can remember. My parents knew I was different, and I think that they were different to an extent, as well…. but they are gone now. The society deemed them too dangerous and killed them. They nearly killed me, too, but I lived. I don’t know how I lived… but I lived. Now, I live here ---in hell.’

“Klaren, the headmaster will see you now.” the clerk called as she re-entered the room from another room at the back room and simultaneously broke the male’s train of thought. She was a petite, brunette woman that looked like she couldn’t scare a fly away if she wanted, but she was only an assistant to the headmaster. It wasn’t in her job description to be a bad person. In fact, of all of the secretaries at the academy, Klaren often found her company the most pleasant. She didn’t prejudge him as a chore like most of the staff at the school.

“Thanks, Ms. Valtrie… how mad is he this time?” The male responded cautiously as he closed the leather-bound journal that he was jotting in before. Klaren wasn’t wasn’t exactly what you would call a typical male. He was actually kind of scrawny, and if he was standing complete erect, his stature was still only at most 5’5’’. He was pretty skinny, but he didn’t really have any kind of muscle on him to prove he was skinny from working out. Several people went as far as to say that he was bony. His complexion was almost almost ghostly pale, except his face. He had freckles as if he was supposed to be a ginger like his father, but he wasn’t. He had this distinct, almost unnatural platinum blonde hair that clearly kicked him out of the redhead category. As if it wasn’t unusual enough though, it was this unruly mass of slight curls and waves that almost always hung into his face, if it wasn’t regularly cut off. Outside of his particularly weak looking demeanor though, Klaren had a 2G ear gauge in his left ear and a lip ring piercing on his bottom lip on the left corner of his lip. Then finally, Klaren had the Latin word, “Mutationem” tattoo on his left forearm in bold, cursive script. Overall, he had a very conflicting appearing. Almost nothing about him was symmetrical, even his eyes weren’t the same color. His left eye was his glassy, gray color, and his right eye was a crystal, green color.

“I think you have really messed up this time. He was fuming even after I tried to get him to calm down.” The woman, who had now moved to sit back down at her desk, replied with concern in her voice. “--Maybe today, you could just take it easy on him, you think?” She stated as an after thought seeing Klaren slowly get up from the office chair he had been waiting in.

The pale blonde male glanced over at her with playful, shocked face. “When have you ever known me to be trouble? I mean honestly.” He stated with a definite sarcastic undertone as he walked over to the door she had just previously exited and opened it. As he entered the room and sat in a new uncomfortable chair, he stared into the headmaster’s disgruntled expression with unamusement. There was nothing fun about getting a lecture from the headmaster about things he couldn’t change. Not to mention, about thirty minutes into the conversation, he was instructed to removed his lip ring immediately, because it was a distraction and made him look like he had a fish hook in his mouth.

He didn’t know how long he had specifically spend in that room being harassed and badgered by the headmaster, but it felt like an eternity. He thought for sure that he had wasted the entire day of classes being told how poorly he was doing in them and all of the bad life choices he was making, but unfortunately, he hadn’t. So after being verbally assaulted by the headmaster for a couple hours, he still had to return to class. It truly was a completely terrible hassle for Klaren to get sent to the Headmaster’s office. Since both of his parents were dead, he was currently a ward of the academy, so every time he was sent there it always seemed to get off-topic. They would start in on why he was sent there in the first place, then it would go to his grades, and it would turn into an argument about why Klaren constantly felt the need to defy the headmaster and the life he wanted for him. It was like getting all the negatives of going to public school and being homeschooled all in one.

Klaren took his sweet time walking to class as if walking slower was going to save him of having to face the class. As he walked in, he took his seat after being glared at by the professor and getting the typical, “it was nice of you to join us, Klaren.” They were working on potions. His least favorite subject, but of course, what is a magic academy without potions?

The day just seemed to drag on forever to Klaren. He finally escaped his classes only to receive a note from the principal. Apparently the principal was done playing games with him, and was assigning him a mandatory study session from 3-5pm everyday with a student mentor until he could get his grades and act together. Of course that meant that he couldn’t go to any of the student activities or sport practices since they were almost exclusively held at 3-5pm some time during the week. It was the unofficial student activity period… and now he was going to be stuck in the library everyday missing out while some ignorant, stuck-up, teacher’s pet tried to “fix” him and his inconsistent grades. But the cherry on top had to be that these study sessions were starting today. He didn’t even get a chance to really adjust to the news. before he had to go to the actual session.

Klaren, once again, found himself dragging his feet to his new torture destination. This day honestly could have rivaled with being one of the worst days of his life. Everyone was almost quite literally out to get him for something, and Klaren wasn’t even completely sure why. It wasn’t like he had a sign on his back that said, “Hey, having a crappy day, please come kick me while I’m down.” The library wasn’t even fun at this time of day, since almost everyone was at some kind of student activity or sport like they were supposed to be. As he walked into the enormous room, he realized that there was about five people in there maxium… including him and all of the staff. It was at that point something occurred to him that he hadn’t thought of before. Who in the world would willing give up their activity period to come be a student mentor?… it had to either be some snot-nosed brat that thought he was so brilliant he could fix all of Klaren’s problems within a week, maybe two tops or someone that the principal had enough dirt on to force into doing it as well.

As Klaren walked further into the cramped room of book shelves and study desks, he found himself almost amused with the thought. Someone who was also a pain in the back side of the principal? That could definitely be fun… but then again, he was almost positive that if the principal was going to actually assign him a student mentor it probably wasn’t going to be someone who was also a bad influence… He definitely had too much sense for that. As the troublemaker found himself under the sad realization that he was going to be bugged by someone p***k infinitely from 3-5pm every day, he took a seat at one of the many empty study desks around him. Reluctant to actually make himself at home, he pulled his messenger bag up and then pushed it onto the desk top. After opening the bag up, he pulled out the leather-bound journal and a pen. Without really thinking about much about it, he stared at the journal before it flew open to the first blank page and shortly after the pen began to float and scribe words onto the lines of the journal at Klaren’s command.

There was definitely some perks that came with being psychokinetic, not that anyone at the school even knew. It really got back to the fact that no one at the school really understood that he wasn’t a wizard. He couldn’t cast the spells or the magic… he could just control things with his thoughts and that just happened to be enough to get him by in a wizard academy. He had tried to tell them for many years when he was younger, but everyone just said that he was acting out for attention… so he gave up on trying to tell them and just began to pretend to be a wizard as best he could. In actuality, he was pretty terrible at it, but no one seemed to notice that. They just thought he was doing bad in his classes on purpose. The blonde haired male pushed the thought aside though as he began to really think about all the things that had happened to him today. He wanted to make sure that he wrote down all of the crap he was being put through, so he had to really try and concentrate so the pen would know what to write.

While he sat there and thought, he remembered his lip ring was still out from this morning, so as he continued to have the pen document his day, he began to also try and get his lip ring back in after fishing it out from his bag. At least the principal hadn’t thrown the ring away this time like he had done in the past.

"Oh, shut up, Damien. I have someone to tutor via the Headmaster, and if you want to spend time with me, you'll have to sit in there with me and wait until we're done, okay?" snapped a raven-haired teen, finally having enough of Damien asking why he had to be there with her and why he couldn't just go do whatever he wanted and them she call him when she got done? Because she was his girlfriend, that's why. Because if he loved her, he would sit beside her patiently when she was doing something, that's why. Because he had to be by her side as much as possible so she could keep track of him, that's why. He still didn't get it.

The male beside her clad in form-fitting black skinny jeans, an untucked white button-down and an undone black tie sighed and rolled his eyes to himself. She was so controlling and clingy. Why did he put up with her again? Oh, yeah, because they had been going out for six months, and he loved her. Right. "Fine, whatever," he mumbled as he moved to slide his arm around her waist. She swatted him away and huffed. "Damien, I have to be professional. The Headmaster entrusted me with this task, and I need to take it seriously," she hissed, scowling at him. Damien sighed and shoved his hand back into his pocket. "Fine. Fine..."

As they reached the double-doors to the library, she turned to him and looked him dead in the eyes. "Now, Damien. I'm gonna need you to behave in here, okay? For me?" she more demanded than requested. He just gave her a flat look. He hated when she spoke to him like he was a child. It drove him nuts. He was a responsible teenager, much more responsible than those around him, he thought. "Yeah. Whatever," he said a little harshly, a scowl on his lips. She just gave him a tight smile and pecked him on the cheek. "Good boy. Now, come on. We're late as it is," she instructed him before walking through the doors. She strutted through the library until she came upon the study area, and immediately saw her prey.

"Klaren, is it? I'm Jade, your assigned tutor," she said snarkily as she sat down in front of him, not even noticing the moving pen on its own, because she was kind of used to seeing it around the school. She pulled out her books and slapped them down on the table. "This is Damien, my boyfriend, but don't pay any attention to him. He's just waiting for this to be over with so we can spend time together," she explained briefly as Damien plopped down on a more comfortable chair to their side. He gave a little wave and a nod before sighing and grabbing a random book from a shelf, opening it to read. "Anyway. What is your worst problem that you're having magic-wise? Potions? Spells? Transfiguring? Defense?"

While she was bothering the poor pale boy, Damien looked him over once more. He had undoubtedly seen him around the school, because he looked awfully familiar. He was such an interesting individual. He was almost completely pale if it weren't for those freckles covering his nose and cheeks. Even his eyes were a pale grey. And it was the weirdest thing that he only had one ear gauged. It would be different if it were pierced regularly, but a whole gauge on one side? That was intriguing. He had a lip ring on that side, too. As soon as he realized he was kind of blatantly staring, he looked back down at the open book in his hands and began skimming the pages quickly.
