Victor let his thoughts take off as the party quieted down. It had been an interesting day. He had gotten some insight into his new traveling companions, they had gained another kid, he had watched a gym battle and he had seen an extinct Pokemon. All in all, he wasn't complaining. It hadn't been so bad. Some bits had even been pretty fun. Tomorrow, Genesis would battle the gym and then they could leave the town and move on.
"Let's turn in. We have another day ahead of us tomorrow." Argyle was reflecting on his day as well. The introduction of Wade, all the training, the gym battle (which had turned out to be everything he had hoped), even just hanging out with his new friends that afternoon had been fun. He still didn't like Victor (who could, with that constant cockiness?), and he was still utterly confused about his own sexual orientation, but it had been a very nice day none the less. Wade agreed with Victor. Genesis had a big day ahead of her tomorrow, and it had been a full day for the rest of them. They were no doubt as tired as he was.
"Let's get to bed. Tomorrow will be pretty tiring. We'll need all the rest we can get."

Later That Night Grant couldn't sleep. There was a lot on his mind, as well as the sleeping form of Wade next to him. He and Argyle had gotten closer, but he was still confused as to what they were exactly. But he mentally shrugged. Tonight was only their second night together as a group, and they hadn't even "experimented" much anyway, what with Wade showing up and then training and the gym battle, the latter of which had him excited. He was so proud of himself and his Pokemon. He yawned and turned in the small bed to look at the moon. It was full and bright, and other people would have complained that the brightness would keep them awake, but not Grant. He loved the moon, and it made him feel warmer than when the sun was beating down on him. He sighed and closed his eyes, allowing the moon's warmth to pull him into sleep.

Deven Korrs started his day off on the same boat he had been on for the past two weeks. Taking a cruise liner to get to Kanto was definitely not the best idea. Seeing as the the path through Victory Road was blocked off, this is currently the only way to Kanto from Johto. The path through Victory Road between Johto and Kanto is the easiest way to go through the two regions. Victory Road of the Indigo League is of course where trainers test the strength of their teams against the most powerful trainers in the Indigo League. Common folk take a different path through Victory Road where they can either watch the battles or just pass between the regions. The train through Goldenrod and Saffron has been down for quite some time so that route was out of the question. Eventually, Deven had to settle with taking a cruise liner from Olivine and get off after it docks in Vermillion. The reason why Deven has been on this boat so long is that it has been docking in other places, such as Lillycove, all before it goes to Vermillion. Deven has hated every single minute of this cruise and cannot wait to get off, but he finds that it doesn't happen quite the way he expected. He walks to the railing on the deck and leans on it. "I can't believe Greg lost the Indigo League." Deven said under his breath. "He made it all the way to Cynthia back home, but Koga ruined him in this League." Deven continued looking off the side of the boat into the water. He felt it calming to watch the water swish back and forth against the boat. "Once I get to Kanto, I'm going to make a name for myself." Though Deven said this with the utmost confidence, he really didn't know what he was going to do. A flurry of thoughts rushed into his head before he was abruptly interrupted by a push against his back. Deven jumped a little and lost his balance. As he was fighting to stay on the boat a voice shout to him "Send your loser brother my regards!" Deven fought and fought but to no avail as he was sent plummeting into the ocean. The waters were quick and foul from pushing against the boat back at Deven. He couldn't breathe and began frantically kicking his legs. The light from above grew dim and Deven passed out. He found himself awakening to a bright blue sky with a slimy appendage patting his chest. "Did I die?" he stated out loud as he continued staring at the sky. A louder and nearby cry confirmed he was not. Deven lifted his head to look forward and see that the slimy appendage belonged to a pokemon. "You're a Shellder." He said aloud. The pokemon started beaming with joy and made all types of noises. "Did you save me?" Deven asked. Even though the pokemon replied with only another cry, Deven knew that it had meant yes. "Thanks buddy." Devin could feel that this was the beginning of something big.
