"I think that is a very un-monsterlike thing to do," she purred softly. It did surprise her a little, that Remiel and Sariel would begin such a thing on their own, though she somehow felt a little proud of them for it. On the off occasions people, be them human or majin or what have you, did good...some part of her heart was eased, just a little.
Just a little.
Miusa had stopped dead in her tracks, her arm sliding a little out of Remiel's before he turned to her. At one time in her existence, she may have looked at him with the wide-eyed, chaste and inexperienced eyes of a girl, and while there was still the faintest ghost of that creature that clung to life within her, she couldn't help but to gaze at him now with the eyes of something else.
"I'm sorry," she murmured. It seemed so far both of their meetings had her apologizing. "For lashing out at you earlier. I'm not sure why I got so angry." She paused as she kept her eyes on him, reluctantly turning her face away. She had always liked to look at the twins, and the fact that at the moment this one was alone and in a somewhat more calm, non-groping set of mind made him a bit easier to look at. Parts of her fought this urge, others parts encouraged it.
"So, while we're telling secrets...." she took the few steps to close the distance between them, her fingers leaving the crook of his arm and tracing down his knuckles and in between his, loosely gripping them. She didn't want to continue such morose talk anymore, it had been strange and difficult enough to simply spit the words out, let alone dwell on them. Miusa leaned up on her toes, bringing her face dangerously close to his. She could play his game too, if she tried. Her lips were less than inches form his own for a minute, so close he may have even felt a soft warmness pass by from them, but it was his ear she leaned close to. "........how many times have you snuck a taste of my magic since we met?" Her words were jesting, but laced with the prospect of punishment. "I hope you answer honestly, since we're telling each other secrets right now."

Remiel shrugged, not commenting any further on his and Sariel's little 'extra curricular' activity. Or secret. "Perhaps it is one of the few un-monsterlike things we are capable of doing." He murmured, gaze drifting up and seemingly to nothing in particular. The witch eater would not lie that he had killed and still would kill when the hunger took him. It was something he could not resist. Nor did he want to resist. Though he did have a terrible knack for letting himself 'starve', as his Angel put it. And true, they used their pawns mercilessly. Yet...they protected what was theirs. As the tattoo that thrummed against his back always was proof of.
The sudden feeling of her arm sliding almost from his made Remiel stop automatically, mismatched eyes falling to Miusa. He blinked, something in his gaze flickering away. Something old. Replaced by the childish man he could be. He smiled, a sweet thing lacking most of the leering. Most of it. "No apology necessary. I probably deserved it." Remiel chuckled. "Don't I always deserve it in the end?" He added with a sly wink.
His eyelids fell slowly, eyes becoming hooded. The blonde watched her closely, not moving from where he stood. He curled his fingers gently around hers, a slow catlike smile forming along his lips as she leaned closer and closer. So close he could just about taste her lips on his. Though that was unfortunately not where her lips ended up, her breath ghosting against his ear as she spoke. One eyebrow slowly rose at her words, a devilish smile forming across his features.
"Mmmm....how many times indeed." He murmured, letting his nose brush along her hairline down to her ear. A soft laugh escaped in a puff of air. "You want my honest answer on that, do you my white lily? Just how many times do you think I will say, hmm?" Remiel let his lips slide down to the side of her neck, barely touching her skin. And utterly oblivious to the fact they were out in public. He let his breath dance against the soft skin there, not answering for a minute before he pulled away to meet her gaze.
"Not once." He answered truthfully, letting her see it in his gaze. Then that dangerous cheshire smile formed along his lips. "Though, one of your professors was not so....fortunate. I may have snuck a little taste from him~" He said innocently, ducking his head down to press his lips to her cheek.
"Now, where shall I escort you to, darling? Home? Somewhere exciting? The Academy, perhaps?"

Remiel seemed to respond to her teasing as if it were a simple reflex, like taking a breath when one was starved of air, and she had anticipated this, but not the way his lips slowly moving down her neck made her shiver. She closed her eyes, remaining still, waiting for his answer, and able to feel the hot ebbing of his breath against her skin. Words that felt like they were her, some deep and hidden, probably dark part of her, echoed their wishes in her mind. I don't want to be alone anymore, knowing I don't have to... Please take me, ravage me, I'll become yours, and I'll become Sariel's, I'll give you what you want...
His answer snapped her out of her wicked thoughts, and she secretly shunted them away, back under the rug where they belonged. No, no... those kind of thoughts...where did they come from?
"Not once, you say?" Miusa turned her eyes up sheepishly at him, thankful he hadn't yet learned to read her thoughts or feelings. "Do you think I taste dirty, then?" she pouted teasingly, bringing a knuckle to her eye to wipe away a 'tear', shutting the other on the side of her face of which he kissed her. "If you bring me somewhere quiet and away from others..." her gaze slid away. "....You can have a taste, and can tell me if I taste dirty." She didn't yet bring her gaze to him, only crossed her arms over her chest haughtily as if the prospect was as simple as a pat on the head to her, when in reality it ....made her nervous, and yet excited her in a way she hadn't yet felt before. Miusa had always been cautious around those she knew were majin, always keeping her bodily contact to herself around most people anyways, to avoid such things. ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★✰

Once you started his game, Remiel made sure that he was the one to finish on top. In most cases. There were a few exceptions to this~ But with Miusa, he was throwing her teasing gestures right back at her. Taking his time moving towards her ear to whisper softly and amusingly to her. And her scent! Clean with a hint of a soft floral smell and what his mind thought might be honey. Sweet and taunting to his senses. Just like the woman herself was being.
"Not once." He parroted, giving her a lazy smile. "Oh don't make that face at me!" Remiel chuckled, placing his hands on his hips and staring down at her in amusement. "Taste dirty?! Ha ha! I bet you are as sweet as the delicious treat you ate earlier." He licked his lips obnoxiously, leaning closer to her face. But all movements halted, the witch eater freezing where he was. Had she...really just said that? Remiel stared at her, the playfulness lacking in his gaze. There was something else there. A yearning to feed. The hunger that always lurked inside him. That he suppressed until he had no other choice but to go out and feed.
He didn't say anything, be his hand slid to the lower part of her back as he moved beside her and urged her forward. Remiel kept Miusa at his side, eyes traveling around until he spotted an area that looked as if it didn't get much foot traffic. Moving them towards that, he realized there was a small, dried up fountain buried back here, out of sight of the main roads traveled on. But it was quiet, darker thanks to the shadows of the buildings, and out of sight.
Remiel leaned his shoulder against the wall, arms crossed as she stared down at his white lily. "...are you sure that is what you want?" He asked quietly, eyes hooding over. "I..." The witch eater hesitated, something very rare for him. "I don't want to make you hate or fear what we have become. You are all that Sariel and I have besides one another. We don't want you to...see us as everyone else does."

The way he looked at her, always with those hungry, hungry eyes. There was a change in demeanor as he took her to his side, and she felt his hand urging her forward. Was he really so hungry? As they neared such an area as she requested, her heart began to beat rapidly, the nervous feeling swirling in her stomach increasing. She felt hollow inside suddenly; not the depressing type of hollow, but the kind that begged for something to make it...not hollow.
Her demeanor had quieted as they stopped, and she sat upon the edge of the once-active fountain, crossing her ankles and perching her hands on each side of her, peering up at him. It was peculiar to see Remiel apprehensive, and she brought a finger to her lips, chewing softly on the tip of it as he spoke, considering what he said. In truth, she wanted to know what it felt like as it was happening. She knew that majin could take magic form witches unnoticed most of the time, but that there was a distinct feeling when one took larger amounts, noticeable amounts. There was something curious about it, something that intrigued her. Perhaps it was her own majin-seed that was hidden deep within, begging to see how the feeding was like, since her human body never needed nor craved the magic of others.
"If you don't..." she began, her words soft, slightly breathy. "You will live with that fear of 'what if' forever, and forever........Forever is a very, very long time." She extended her hand towards him, an open invitation, though she herself actually was not clued in entirely on the process of how a majin 'fed'. She just knew that when she looked into Remiel's eyes, she saw that hunger in him growing, and almost felt somewhat 'obligated' to satiate it. "I want it," she finally stated, her words small but serious.

He'd felt that nervous heart beat against her back, though not as strongly as he would have had his hold been tighter on her. But it was exactly that for which he was hesitant about all this. Was it fear that spurred her heart to beat so quickly? In such an almost frightened manner? Remiel was not, exactly, used to having someone willingly offer themselves up for a feeding. Yes there were rare occasions, but they were rare.
Remiel stared down at her, as if trying to understand an extremely complicated bit of literature. Why? Why had she suddenly decided to ask this of him? Was there something else she hoped would happen because of it? The witch eater did not like having to second guess things. In fact, he despised not being in control of a situation in general. Or at least not in some amount of control. And right now, he was beginning to feel like he'd lost any control he'd had. If he'd ever had it. He sighed heavily at himself and the woman sitting before him.
"Don't you and I know that one well." He murmured, rubbing at the back of his neck. There were things he still asked himself 'what if~' about. Like what if, so very long ago, he'd not let their parents leave? Or had tried to force them to let he and Sariel join? Thing would not be as they were now. And neither of the twins would even be here.
Staring at her with that same apprehensive and uncertain look about him, Remiel knelt down in front of her at her gesture of invitation. He folded his arms across the tops of her legs briefly, holding her gaze. "You must promise to remember...you asked for this." He whispered, feeling some part of him tighten almost painfully at what he was going to do. Straightening, he let his hands rest against her shoulders, one gliding up along her neck to brush his thumb along her cheek. Just as slow and gentle, his hand fell to her chin, lifting it slightly as he bent down. His eyes closed, forehead bumping against hers as something...subtle changed in him. And then his lips moved to hers. He didn't force his way, instead letting the soft feel of lips on lips penetrate through her senses. Equally as slow and gentle, his mouth slanted across hers at the same time a slight 'pull' on her magic started.
Alright so maybe he should have forewarned her about how he fed. Or what he was about to do. But it had slipped his mind. Sort of. Just a little.
Remiel's hand moved to the back of her neck, fingers curling into her hair as the drain increased. She tasted as sweet as he thought she would! It was utterly fantastic! He could easily see himself getting lost in that magic. Feel the frail body in his hold slowly start to lose life...
The witch eater broke away, staggering into the wall opposite Miusa. His breathing was ragged and he turned his face from her, hiding the creature that peered out of his eyes. The one that wanted more. Hungered for that sweet taste. He rested heavily against the wall, hand raising to cover his face even more as he shut his hunger back into its lovely little cage in his mind.
"Is it...what you...expected?" He asked in a quiet, rough voice.

What was he doing, exactly, fondling her neck, raising her chin, and coming so close with his fa... Oh. Miusa's eyes fluttered wide as she felt his lips mount upon hers, turning to deepen the kiss that caused her to yield in his grip, eyes softening and slowly closing. Could this be counted as her real first kiss...? Somewhat, but she knew at that moment, feeling her magic slipping from her like a glass too full of water, that this was how he chose to take it. His taste was filling her mouth even as her magic left her, her precious magic of many stories, many wishes, broken everafters....It was as if she was being lulled into a soft sleep by his kiss, but started back to consciousness when he broke it.
Miusa could feel her magic slowly beginning its regeneration inside, all was safe, though she felt a little lethargic, a little weakened. It still shocked her to a degree of what he had just done, what she had let him -- asked him to do to her.
Slowly coming to her feet, she reached a tentative hand out towards his back, fingers curling as she withdrew it. He didn't seem quite himself at the moment, but then..she had asked for this. Rethinking her decision, Miusa lay a hand in a comforting manner upon Remiel's shoulder, ignoring his question and making an attempt to turn him so she could see his face, going so far as to push back several strands of his long hair that worked to shield him like curtains.
"Why did you break away so quickly?" she asked softly. Her demeanor about him hadn't really changed, though she seemed confused, thinking the process lasted a lot longer. Had she actually been disgusting to him? The concept made it feel like she had swallowed a whole boulder. "Did I really taste filthy?" it was partially a joke, though she was already second-guessing herself. Did she?

He could still feel the ghost of her lips against his. The sweet taste of magic adding yet more flavor to those luscious lips. And he wanted it. Very much wanted to turn around and slam her against the wall. Take more. Prove that he was wasting his time pretending he was not a vicious creature. Not a monster. No, he would show just what kind of witch eater he was! Powerful, the most powerful of his kind. Second only to Sariel.
Remiel groaned, biting his lip hard enough to pierce it and let the pain dull the hunger. This was his fault. He'd agreed to this. Done what Miusa asked. And he knew that what Sariel claimed was true. That he practically starved himself. It wasn't that he hated hunting or hated being a creature of nightmares. Remiel just didn't allow himself to be swallowed up completely by the hunger burning inside him. To do so would mean he'd lose all the careful manipulation he used to place their chess pieces strategically around to better keep their Sanctuary off the radar. It was probably his one greatest fear, aside from losing Sariel. To lose himself completely to the hunger. A very old hunger that would never be able to be filled.
He cringed slightly when her hand rested against his shoulder. Remiel felt his hair being brushed aside, part of his face being revealed. The eye that looked down at her from between his fingers was feral and filled with nothing but the hunger. But slowly, it started to fade away as Remiel focused on her hand.
"You, my lovely white lily," he breathed out, still in a slightly rough tone. "Are sweeter than all the sweets we could buy in that little shop from earlier." Remiel sighed, letting his hand fall, head resting against the wall. "Almost too sweet for my tastes." He couldn't admit that his hunger and roared up. Or that he had, for one brief second, almost taken everything from her.

He had almost done something unforgivable. The famine and appetite for her still lingered in his eyes, and it hadn't slipped past her perplexed gaze that he actually had to bite his own lip to dull the throb of hunger.
Even though she possessed the same thing he did - a majin seed - she did not feel the hunger it could manifest within its bearers. It constantly fed off of her own heart's magic, an eternal circle of taking and regenerating, only wishing to fill her with a deep resent, or the threat of being consumed into darkness. She could not relate to him on how the hunger for magic actually effected him.
"Remiel...." her voice was barely more than a whisper. "I accepted you could do one of three things. I accepted you might pretend and do nothing. I accepted you would take some and pull away. I even accepted that you might take everything." She held her gaze on him, before pushing herself between him and the wall, and wrapped her arms around his middle, her forehead nudging against his shoulder. "I had to know." She squeezed him tighter; his solid frame felt good and warm between her arms and she didn't wish to let go. "I had to know if the things you told me were really true, and this was the only way I could know for sure." Her fingers clenched fistfuls of his coat and long, soft hair. "I loved you and Sariel so much, as much as I did Runa, the best way I knew how when I knew you would wither." She was thankful Remiel couldn't see her face. Her eyes stung with something she remembered must be tears, though they did not descend down her cheeks, though her voice wavered and caught in her throat.

Remiel shuddered, the pain he'd from biting his lip helping. Slightly. He just clenched his teeth and focused on closing the door that had unintentionally been opened. He would not lose. Would not let it ever consume him.
He listened to Miusa's voice, not looking at her. He couldn't. To see the horror he saw in so many eyes mirrored on her face would torment a part of him forever. But her words, they surprised him. Again. As did the fact she weaseled herself between him and the wall, wrapping her arms about him. The witch eater hesitated, not moving and only listening.
A test. Is that what this was? He wondered.
Slowly, carefully, his arms found their way around her form, pulling her close. He shivered, letting his face fall to the top of her head, breathing in the scent of her hair. "That was a dangerous gamble, my dear." He whispered. It felt...almost like holding Sariel. Comforting in its own way. He could still feel the hunger lurking deep within, but just holding Miusa was helping. Was chasing away the strong dominating presence. "And did you find your answer?" He asked curiously, feeling tired and...old. "Was it as you thought it would be?"
His hand slowly rubbed up and down her back, black wings unfurling to wrap around them. He didn't want to move. Was slightly afraid to break away. Not that he would admit this. But having an anchor right now, he needed it. Very much. "We loved you as well." His voice was soft, lacking all leering and perverted ways. "We still love you. And always will. But...we understand what we are as well. And who could ever love monsters such as we?" How many times had he asked himself that over the years? Never had it proven to be wrong.

"...me," her word was but a whisper. "... I do, I love you, I love both of you. I love you both, and it fills me with the worst and best feelings. I know what you two do...how you are, and what you believe yourselves to be, but even if you are monsters, even monsters...."
Miusa paused, her eyes closing. When she had been the girl who wanted good in the world, the girl who held her beliefs strong for good, the worst had happened. It made her realize that in this world of happiness and suffering, there is no good or evil. There was simply do or don't. She slowly burrowed her face into his neck, her words soft and hushed. "....Even monsters need to be loved by someone, don't they?" She truly didn't know what good it did either of them to say this. Admitting such things brought pain, this she knew for a fact, but even though at this moment she was held by someone who openly called himself a monster, someone she may even agree with to a point with this....Miusa felt safe, regardless he could have ended her, could end her at any moment.

For maybe the first time in a very very long time, Remiel was utterly speechless and didn't know what to do. His mind was still trying to work through what Miusa had just said. How it made him feel. If he should pull away now and make her see him as the monster. It was strange and almost like a dream.
Dreams. I don't have them any longer. Remiel mused to himself.
"H-How...?" How could she say that! He could destroy her. Use her. Be a nightmare across the land. If he let himself go. But he didn't. Couldn't. "I am in no way the 'good guy', darling. Yet you still love us?" Confused. Remiel was confused. And maybe a little lost. His hold on her tightened out of reaction, mind trying to find some semblance of understanding.
The words whispered against his neck seemed to do it. He found an answer somewhere within himself. Remiel hugged her smaller body tightly to him, face falling to her neck as his wings completely surrounded them.
"...then, so long as you love us," he spoke quietly into her neck, "I will use the monster I am to be your protector. Your friend. Your loved one." Remiel pulled away slowly, enough so that he could look at her, hands moving to cup face. "I can not promise to be a Saint of any sort. But I can promise I will never betray you, dear Miusa. Nor will myself or Sariel leave you." Leaning forward, he placed an innocent kiss against her brow.

I'm tired, she thought, welcoming his embrace, fingers latching onto any part of him she could. I'm tired of being a ghost. Tired of watching a world build, and slip slowly, effortlessly, through my fingers. Love me, or end me. I cannot bring myself to love myself, nor end myself, so I leave it in your hands, both of your hands.
He was suddenly staring at her, his hands holding her face between them. Warm...She had long since forgotten the feel of flesh, until the twins had come back into her life.
Don't make promises you can't keep, she wanted to say, instinctively, but she withheld her words. Loved one.... Loved one. The words repeated like a heartbeat. They warmed her, and yet she could not bring herself to smile, though she felt the small flicker of something she remembered as joy kindling somewhere deep within. Would Runa....would she be pleased? Happy that Miusa had someone, two someones, who wanted to love her, protect her, regardless of what they were? Or would she feel even more betrayed. Miusa couldn't smile, because all she could think about at that moment was that very fateful day, so long ago, and the way Runa's hopeful face had melted into one of despair and betrayal in front of her very eyes, as she fell to her death.
Miusa finally smiled as Remiel kissed her forehead, speaking softly. "There are no such things as Saints."
