Hello to all guild members! Due to my recent re-aquaintance with one of my favorite video game franchises, and due to having extra funds from doing some inventory clearance, I have decided to run another contest.

July/August Avatar Contest theme is...Harvest Moon franchise, courtesy of Natsume!

If you've never played any of the games in this wonderful and whimsical franchise, look it up and try it out! The lovable story of a ramshackle farm and a farmer moving from rags to riches has been around since the mid-nineties! A few popular titles in the franchise are:

Harvest Moon 64, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, and Rune Factory! There are countless others, and each brings its own wonderful storyline and characters into play. Search for them online, there are countless images and fan art of characters from most of the games in this franchise.

This ought to be a very fun, very cute and whimsical contest. Feel free to enter!

July/August Contest Guidelines

1. For this contest, all entries must be centered around any one of the characters from the Harvest Moon franchise from Natsume. Any character will do, other than animals from the games.

2. Only one entry is allowed per guild member, and resubmissions are not allowed. Finalize entries before submitting, please.

3. There is no price limit. Use TekTek to design your avatar, and submit that TekTek for us to judge.

4. The submission period will end August 12th, 2012, and winners will be announced as soon as they've been chosen. Late submissions will be subject to disqualification (date subject to extension).

Hi! I thought I'd post a few avatars for fun, not that I can win any prize money (it is my money in the first place, for the most part). I won't post every character, just some of my favorites.

For starters, here's Popuri from Harvest Moon 64 - she's my wife on a current file. Something to note, you NEVER see her shoes...ever. I had to take some artistic license when designing the avatar because of that.
