I'd say its enjoying the show and/or the fandom. While I like the show, I love the fandom. It goes from uber cute to dark, gruesome, and finally, porn. Hell, one of the porn ones I follow is one of the truest to the principals of the shows.
I could post a starter kit, but it contains NSFW links, so I dunno if that's cool or not. Its in my pony thoughts one though.

One's is one of the few horror pieces that I've ever bothered with, and the other, while porn heavy, the second season picks up with a plot that both fits a bit more mature audience and holds true to the principals of the show. Still some porn, but its worth it.

This is a reintroduction to the cast as well as my favorite villain, Discord. It is my jumping on point.
Season 2, Episodes 25 & 26
The season 2 finale, is probably the most intracate plot so far in the series. The main song, “This Day Aria” is nominated for a Daytime Emmy and is personally heavily reminiscent to Aladdin. Normally the songs for me are nails on a chalkboard to okay, but this one I really liked.
So yeah, these are all two parters, so if anyone wants to give a good jumping on single episode, let me know and I’ll add it in.

Best drawn thing I follow. Stupidly detailed, but doesn’t fall in the uncanny valley. A mildly Orwellian universe where “The Ministry of Friendship” monitors how friendly everyone is with one another. Scootaloo is the one who installs all the cameras in Ponyville.

The Dark:
Ask Firestarter Spitfire Comic
Spitfire is the leader of the Wonderbolts, (the equivalent to the Blue Angels or Snowbirds.) Though she didn’t get the position by being the best. Her best friend/lover Hurricane killed herself by accident by flying into a lamppost while heavily drunk with Spitfire. The guilt has driven her to near insanity. Heavily influenced by Homestuck, but the awesome flash animations are worth it.
Lots of language, so watch out for that.
