Hebi laughed at her comment, quite happy she hadn't changed at all. "Yes, I can still hold you." He continued to hover there for a few minutes, the updraft from the clouds in the rainshower was making it a little easier to stay in the air but his wings were still getting tired holding the weight of two draco'ulas upward. After taking a moment he brought them down to the ground and landed on his hind feet. "Uh..." He was trying to support her without dropping her on the grass below but Hebi started to loose his balance and fell backwards so Ariah was on his chest and his back was to the ground, his wings keeping him from rolling over. "Haha." He didn't know what to say, it was an unusual way to land but he didn't want to protest it at all.
"Well I guess this works too." He said giving a nervous chuckle at their situation. He had always had a crush on Ariah but was told by his parents to only lover her as a sister. Well, Hebi was never one for following rules and listening to his parents at all. He was completely comfortable holding her in his arms right now but he still had a nervous feeling about him, like butterflies in his stomach. Hebi looked back up wards the sky as the rain started to fall again, making it's pitter patter sounds on Ariah's wings as they lay there on the ground 'The moment couldn't get any better' he thought to himself as he looked back towards the pink draco' laying on his chest.

The draco laughed happily the whole way down. He was her strong - draco.. And he would always be hers no matter if she said it in the way she had deeply felt about it. Or let herself know of such things. Looking up at him with a huge smile plastered on her cheeks- she had been the 'girl' in the group trying to fit in but she always fit in with her den neighbors.. She remembered he held her like this when the first migration happened.. when she knew no one..
With the second migration, they had moved skies apart.. Now to come back in the same general area.. Meeting him again, only to then get shipped off to watch other females have 'hatchlings'. Pfft.. It was not the best of times. Was not.
When they landed, it was like angels falling, so elegantly, and it... was like a fantasy story. A blush had appeared magically against her cheeks but she hadn't noticed it at all. Her body's reaction to seeing him beneath her, strong, and holding her in his arms.. So warm.. She couldn't help but giggle and wiggling in his arms only to settle against him, wrapping her tail around him. When he looked up, she blinked confused for a moment before looking up too. She couldn't wipe the smile from her face as she felt the rain against her face, dripping down their scale plated bodies.
"...I missed you Hebi.." Her voice was now oddly more serious.. but with the hints of the happiness lingering within them. Then her wings instinctively covered them.. Even she was surprised when they closed on her sight of the skies.. Then she looked down at him slowly.. Her feminine grace seeping out of her movements.
Their breaths now could be heard, was anyone around? No... no one could hear them now.. They were grown ups now.. And she could feel his heart beat from their armored chests..
".....Your all grown up now.." Her plated ears went down.. "You know I thought you'd forget about me by now.." A sigh left her. ...Would you hate me.. If I asked you a personal question...?" Looking like a bird when she tilted her head to one side... Her tail then flicked across his now.
