Trixie was running down the streets of the neighborhood with a bone in her mouth. She had stolen it from a random dog's yard. You snooze you loose tended to be her motto, or at least most of the time it was until the joke was on her. It had been so long since she had last made a clever escape from her possessive owner. Trixie did not like her one bit with the always trying to groom her and tell her what not to get in. How could Trixie not check different things out like mud baths and random romps through the city?Eventually she made her way towards the entrance to the neighborhood. She dropped her bone before sitting down to chew on it. "Delicious!" She yipped in a bit of excitement. "I wish master would award me with ham bones like this with the meat still on it." She continued gnawing on the bone until it was just a plain old bone. Trixie sniffed around the area and found a good area with some soft soil. Unfortunately it was in someone's yard. As she tried to dig up the bone a dog on a chain barked at her ferociously. She quickly turned around to see the dog growling at her. Trixie yelped and ran off down the road.
Eventually she hid behind a tree. "Good grief! What ever happened to manners?" She looked around the area she had ran to before dropping her bone. "Wait a minute." Trixie looked around extremely confused. "Where the heck am I?" She whined helplessly. This tended to happen fairly often. She would run away and then forget where she was and where she was going. Most of the time she relied upon other dogs, but this was different. There didn't seem to be too many dogs except for the rude one that barked at her in a mean way.
