Drashi stood on the mountain path wondering hos his hooves had carried him here, a few seasons had passed since he had left his herd, his family, his home.... he could still recall Heze's face when he told her, knew that he had hurt her a little, just as he had his father with his news.... but he needed to be here, needed to be alone for a while and just come to terms with himself.... after all, he hadn't allowed himself to move on or grow in such a long time. He felt his heart didn't hurt quite so much while he was alone, no one relying on him or needing him, no one to let down.... but it was lonely, almost heartbreakingly so. Since he was saved by Maion the herd had been his home, Chandra and her siblings as good as his own siblings.... that didn't matter though, he would see them again one day. Eyes of blue looked up to the sky and he closed his eyes. There was another reason he had decided to travel... he wanted to understand and control his domain. Dragons. It had remained dormant for so long he feared he would never master it.

Vibrance had been wandering, she had been for a while, but was gettign the hang of fending for herself... well she had been, winter had been somewhat of a shock, but at least she had stopped gettign th headaches. The unicorn that had found her told her she must have had an accident, taken a bad fall... They had helped her heal, but even thn they had said she would probably take time ot heal fully. The headaches had stopped, but still, everything before opening her eyes to see the unicorn standing over her and th pain... was blank. Sighing and shakign her head, she was not one to be gloomy. Smiling she put a bounce into her step, she was going to find somethign good today, and soon maybe it would be warm again! Flapping her 4 large wigns a little so that she semi glided/bounced along the path. Not knowing how to fly or if she had ever known how to but her heart hammered hard and she felt sick whe she thought about trying to fly and so she kept her hooves on or close to the gound. A mass of colour and some sparkles as her charms twinkled in the light, jingling faintly from some bells in her hair, unaware as of yet that she was heading straight for another like her*

Drashi was first alerted to the presence of someone else by the faint twinkling of.... bells? They reminded him of Auva which made him smile a little, why was it that all thoughts returned to the herd? He shook his head and looked down the path he had walked, it was easier to fly here if you had wings but that didn't mean it wasn't a winged creature given that he himself had walked here. Still, he had a moment to decide.... stay or fly away. Deciding he would use the encounter, good or bad, as an excuse to provide him with a distraction from his lonely existance. He couldn't decide if he wanted it to be good or bad.... and defensively, though he wasn't fully aware of it, his powers summoned the spirit of a long and fine chinese style dragon, the transparent blue form curled and floated in the air around him.

Her bouncing came to a startled stop, her mismatched eyes going wide. The stallion seemed noral enough, he had wigns like her! Which sent her into happy highs as she had not seen others like her. But there was a ghost thing behind him. "Look out!! Lookign around for a split second before snatching a small branch off the nearest bush, more or less launching herself at him while trying to swat the blue ghostly dragon that she could see behind him. Not actually crashing into him but she was a chaos of colours and sparkles as she danced around him and sometimes into him tryign to get it, th bells jingling wildly at th comical display.

Drashi quirked a brow and frowned at the sight of the last thing he had expected. A rather bright and sparkly looking mare. He blinked and it took him a moment to realise what exactly she was telling him to look out for... oh.... he hadn't even realised. Turning to look at the thing he frowned and growled a little at his slip before closing his eyes and forcing it to go back into nothingness. Of course at the same time he found that with her almost comical dancing around him she crashed and bumped into him several times. "Sorry about that....." He mumbled, not entirely sure if she would understand what he meant or not.

Vibrance looked around for th ghost for a while before tossing the stick in her mouth aside and smiling at him brightly. She looked like th love child of a rainbow and a soquili but not in th way most would expect, though nothing really clashed,it was jsut that some htigns were one colour, other thigns were another and some were many colours. It also seemed that someone had used her as a hairstyling experiment as that seemed to be doing several things too. The sparkling bits were carms of somekind, th jinglign was soem bells, she had a quill in her hair by her ear... probably th only normal thing going for her... and a paintbrish that seemed to be drippign rainbow paint in her tail. But as her mismatched eyes met his.. one the purply blue of blueberries, the other th colour of rasperries... she smiled... Bright and cheerful and pleased. "Oh good, the ghost has gone, did it get you?"

Drashi frowned a little as he got to look at her properly for the first time... she was.... different in appearance, not exactually unappealing but not something his mind would have conjured up on his own. She was... beautiful, in an unconventional way. It seemed he still had enough left to at least acknowlegde that much if nothing else. Of course he didn't linger on his thoughts for long, never did these days. What use was things like love when you were always the one who ended up with heartache? He nodded softly at her question and wondered if he should explain, in the end he decided not to, it was better that way. "I am fine m'lday, I hope you too are well?" He spoke politely, cautious as to how she might take his words. With a clearing of his throat he looked out over the moutains view. "A beautiful view, do you not think so?" Yes, it was obvious it had been a long time since he had interacted with a mare he didn't know....

She smiled more brightly, seeming pleased that he was fine, though his callign er a lady had her blushing, just adding more colour to the mass of it. Looking out over th view and nodding. "Yes.... Its pretty at the top too... And the other side... well all round really..." Lookign back the way she had come thoughtfully before shrugging. "You are headign that way it seems so you will find out I'm sure"

Drashi blinked in surprise and then shrugged, "I have not decided where I am heading yet.... perhaps..." He looked out over the view again, "I will go that way." He chuckled softly and then, more to himself than anyone else he mused, "The advantage of wings I suppose."

Vibrance nodded, having wings but not using them to actually fly, glide and bounce like a foal was about as adventerious as she got with them. "I suppose, I bet you have seen many wonders while on your wings." Seeming to ignore the fact that she too had wings, talking like one who had never flown. Though young she was older than Heze... at a guess anyway... Full grown and yet seemed to have never known the joy of the wings on her back.

Drashi looked back at the mare in surprise at that, she spoke as if she was niave to the way of wings, as if she had never flown... it wasn't his place to interfer but before he could stop himself he asked softly, "Can you not fly?" He had met others who had not learnt to fly despite being an adult but from her appearance he was sure she would enjoy flying, and did enjoy it, angeni after all were the best of the best when it came to flying, they could reach places no one else could, could fly for longer and harder than anyone else.... so the thought of her not flying was if she was denying something that was very much a part of he DNA.

Shaking her head and looking away, not able to hide or explain the tensing of her body or the flicker of fear in her eyes when he mentioned flying. Shrugging it off after a moment and smiling at him again. "I never learned.." At least she didn't remember learning, and she had no other reason to explain her reaction to flying. Maybe she was just afraid of the unknown and the fact that she was well past the age of learning suc things.... at least she thought so.

Drashi could see the tensing of her body, knew it well enough to understand that she was fearful of something or at least worried... what? He wouldn't pry though, it wasn't his place. Instead he simply said, "I suspect you leant many other interesting things instead." He attempted a smile, offered it her way in the way of comfort though that he wasn't sure it would do any good. This really wasn't his fortay.

Vibrance shrugged again and smiled. "Maybe, I don't know... I know what I know and I have no idea if that is interesting. I just know it." Grinning again though. "But then its the same for you yes? You must know interesting things as well as how to fly"

Drashi shrugged a little and smiled a little as his eyes turned back to the view, yes he knew many things and then nothing at all. An odd combination but one that seemed to happen more and more often. "You could say that," he mused softly, and then shrugged, once more he his thoughts turned back to his herd, the only thing he was good at was organising training and different strategies for defence, he enjoyed it too.... at least he had once upon a time, the mindnumbing monotony almost enough to keep his mind at bay from drifting to other more sad topics.

Vibrance nodded and smiles, leaning round a little to look at him more in the face. "Would you tell me about it?" It not clear if she was asking about flying or something interesting he had learned, but she had a look in her mismatched eyes that adults usually lack, a optermistic innocence that only the very young have. Like she had never known anything bad, that her life had been blessed. Though he had you to know that as far as she knew her life had been very short. It had begun when she awoke yo a unicorn standing over her, healing her....

Drashi wasn't sure how to take her question so asked softly, "What would you like to know?" He turned a little to see that she was leaning around to look at him, something that distinctively made him feel a little uncomfortable and awkward. He simply wasn't used to the attention, except from youths like Heze and Crown. Still, he knew he would answer if she asked.

Vibrance looked back out over the view, pondering his question. "I'm not sure... I just have the feeling that you can tell me some wonderful things... Theres much I don't know... I don't even know what I don't know..." Having found that she didn't so much remember things, its not like she would remember what was safe to eat because her father taught her that when she was small... she just had no memory of what she had learnt, when she needed it she jsut knew it... usually she just did whatever needed doing and didn't think about how she knew that till after.... It was very frustraiting and a little upsetting.... like if she could jsut remember then she would know so much more about herself.... She wasn't even sure if Vibrance was her name or just something she had herd sometime... When she had woken it had been the word that some voice whispered in her mind.... Gaspign as she realised he didn't even have a name that she knew. Lookign at him again. "Whats your name?" It seemed liek a good place to start.

Drashi nodded again and turned slightly to look at her, his stoic expression revealing nothing even as he tried to figure her out, he didn't think she was faking but the innocence about her made him want to protect her and shield her from the corruption of the world... no telling her about skinwalkers then, he mused. "Drashi." He started out with, "My name is Drashi." He bowed his head slightly in respect, a habit he had picked up from Maion, his father for all intents and purposes. "What about you miss?"

With a shake of his mane causing one of his clips to strike his necklace and give out a distinctive 'ting' noise of metal upon metal. "There is a flower, known in the common tongue as the Moon flower.... by day it looks plain and ordinary but at night, under the glow of the moon it is radiant..... just like you are by day." He found himself adding with a chuckle, after all, she was certainly colourful and bright in nature and appearance.

Blushing deeply at his words, lowering her eyes, never havign had a stallion say things like that to her before. "Vibrance... " Well its what she thought her name was, if not then it was now. Her wings fluffing a little, embarassed at his pretty words. "I'll have to look out for such a flower, it sounds magical..." Her voice hushed, like he had told a child a fairy story.... Much like her appearence she was a bundle of contradictions, innocent like a child but grown, with as he might find out a adults wisdom, but mostly there was this joyful innocence that cloaked her*

Drashi nodded softly at her reaction and knew he had shared the right story, still he found himself saying softly, "Have you been travelling long, Vibrance?" Why was he prying? He didn't know, but for some reason he couldn't stop his mouth from moving; maybe it was because it was just the two of them, had their been more he would have let the others lead the conversation and not thought a thing about it. Still the urge to protect the obvious innocence was almost too much to bare. "What is the most beautiful thing you have seen?"

Thinking she looked up at the sky. "I.. don't know how long its been.... It was just before the leaves fell that I woke up, still a little warm..... I was no where then... and so I started walking.... I've walked this far, so far.... As for the most beautiful thing.... I think that would be when I saw the snow sparkling under the moonlight, the blue shadows... trees laden with more snow, as though trying to save the ground the burdan. And for a while it was perfect, not a mark or a blemish as the wind picked up flakes that sparkled as they danced..." Lost in the image in her mind, picturing it so fully in her head that her powers started to manifest as his had, the image seeming to form before him for a few moments, conjured from thin air by her words.

(yeah not go the power approval but its just a paly and if we keep it we can alter bits where we need to)

Drashi took a surprised step backwards as the magic filled the air and the image took place, he blinked and then blinked again but sure enough he was sure he wasn't imagining thing. "Eh.... beautiful...." He said in disbelief, her angeni ability? He wasn't sure what to say or do now.

The image disintergrated as he spoke, drawing her focus from it to him, it made now sound but seemed to fracture and fall apart. Nodding as she smiles at him. "Yes it was, very beautiful." Not having noticed the image, but then she had been invisioning it, so maybe she thought it was jsut her imagination. "What about you? Whats the most beautiful thing you have seen, and how long have you been traveling?*

He watched as it disappeared and wondered what her domain was to produce such works of art. With a shake of his head he neglected asking, knowing it was personal to some, not everyone was like Maion and showed it off. His own was kept secret to most, but since he was considered Maion's child and most children didn't seem to inherit abilities unless from extremely pure lines no one questioned his silence in the matter. "I do not know, I have seen many beautiful and ugly things.... too many to count. I suppose.... I enjoy the first light of the day. The way it takes over the darkness a shard of colour at a time." Why did that desciption make him think of Vibrance herself? Her bold mixmatched colours just like the first of any day..... he shook his head, there was no room for such romantic thoughts in his life.

Nodding and closing her eyes, picturing what he described. "Yes that would be beautiful too.... I wonder what that looks like over snow... the colours staining the pure whiteness of it like fires burning on it..."

-------------------------

Drashi was a little beaten and worst for wear, something that was happening with an increased frequency lately. It seemed he was a sucker, unable to leave those he considered 'innocents' alone... basically anyone that reminded him of his now dead sister. His mind was churning, his whole body was a mess, yet despite it all he held his head up high and kept going, kept holding himself steady with an elegant kind of grace that was known to those of the Angeni. His form was magnificent when in top condition, well trained muscles that never had an opportunity to go lazy or lax, pelt as pure as snow tipped with black, and the ribbons that held meaning his now long dead herd wrapped around him. Despite being adopted by Maion he still wore them, them and the pendant around his neck... something he recently discovered held a strange power of its own. Dragons. His ear flickered, some small noise catching his attention even as he grit his teeth... had they seriously not given up? He had been sure they would!

Yet here her stood, with the all too familiar noise of someone else following beside him. He had long decided that there was no such thing as coincidence, and as he made his way towards the noise he was not in the mood to play fair. Witha ripple of anger the shadowy wisped form of a blue serpant like dragon took form, wrapping around his body protectively even as he made his way through the trees.

Vibrance was somewhat foggy on things, not that she even knew if Vibrance was her name but it was the one thing she kind of remembered, maybe. Well someone had said the word to her and she remembered it. But that was all she could remember anyone saying to her and so she used it as a name. it was as good as anything. She had a couple of healing scrapes and some vague claw marks that were almost healed. Not that she could see most of them and they wouldn't scar, she had been lucky for the most part. But since she had woken in the care of a healer she had been foggy on things. After a little time with the one that found her injured she had decided to try and find her memories. So once she was mostly healed she had left with many thanks for the one that had cared for her. Sighing as she looks around, not able to find anything familiar in this place either. Actually starting to peer under bushes and behind things in an oddly innocent way for a grown mare. "Come out come out wherever you are?" Her voice a little singsongy but sweet and soft as she  hunts for her memories. Torn by her actions, she knows she wont find memories like this but something also tells her something is lost, its a feeling she cant shake.

Drashi froze at the voice... a mare? He hadn't fled from a mare, after he had rescued the poor little filly he had saw her home and then started a trail away from the stallions who had intended to harm her... so.... who was this mare? A stranger? Or someone connected to the others? He frowned, even as he did as asked and stepped out. "Here I am." He said. Eyes of blue a little harsh for a moment, as if he was determined to come across as strong and steady and unaffected despite the wounds on his body. But that didn't last for long, it melted into nothing as he saw the form of what had to be the most beautiful mare he had ever seen... which said something considering the beauties he had once called family. Who was she? Why was she here? For a moment all he could do was stare at her opened mouthed, the dragon that was wrapped around him shifting as if it too was trying to get a better look. His eyes scanned her quickly, noted the healing signs of damage that mare her otherwise perfect beauty.

A quick count revealed four wings, an Angeni? He hadn't run in to any of their kind since he had left the Miakoda herd, so seeing one now was both a source of joy and sadness. His mind going back to his sister and her daughters, to Heze.... so complicated, he had made everything so complicated. Yet the more he looked at her the more he couldn't seem to keep his thoughts straight. They twisted and turned like the cogs on a clock. "Eh... I...." he stumbled for words, the grace and dignity he had tried to uphold melting into nothing. He shook his head, chastising himself to get a grip of himself. She was just a mare, he had sworn himself off such creatures a long time ago. Once bitten twice shy and all that. "These woods are not safe for one such as your self." he said, his tone much sterner than he had intended.

Lifting her head and turning to look as he stepped into the area she was in, her mismatched eyes vivid and bright as they settled on him. Looking at him keenly for a time, almost determind like she was trying to think of something. But her smile lit up her face after a while, though a moment if sadness had flickered there before the smile blossomed like the first flowers of spring, or the sunrise. Turning to face him, stepping closer. "Yes, there you are." The singsongy tone of voice gone though there was still a musical quality to her voice, she probably had a lovely singing voice. Tilting her head seeming to accept that he was there, stranger or no. "If it is not safe for one such as myself then you are no safer, shall we depart then?" Not seeming like she was going to leave without him, showing a quiet bravery s she smiles at him.

Drashi wasn't sure how he felt when her mismatched, yet beautifully bright... they enchanted him for a moment, the dragon spirit around him shifting also, baring its teeth as it couldn't decide if it was safe or not... yeah, he was confused too. Mares generally meant pain and abandonment.... he didn't want to repeat history, even if he had been given two beautiful sons, he didn't need more of the pain.... no, at the moment he was fine just how he was. So, why couldn't he take his eyes off her? Then she spoke again, his attention shifting with a shake of his head. She had a point in part, but still he was reluctant to just accept her arguement. "I see." She had that stubborn look on her, one that made him smile with the way it reminded him of Chandra when she made up her mind about something.... "I see." He repeated, accepting that she would not simply up and leave, "I shall escort you M'lady." he said softly, providing himself with an excuse to stick around a little longer. "Where are you going?" he used 'm'lady' to almost distance himself from her, getting too familiar could be dangerous. Especially for his already broken heart.

Her smile faltered at his innocent question, though it had grown brighter at his gallentry, Shaking her head, her hair bouncing and shimmering with the movement, looking away from him, her eyes leaving him as she turns away a little. Her eyes leaving him giving the feeling of a chill, like a black rain cloud covering the sun on a clear sunny day. "I don't know... No where really." Shaking her head again, more bouncing and shimmering. "I would be glad of the escort sir." Giving a small bow and a soft smile, her eyes glancing at him, giving a small gesture that she would follow.

Drashi watched her and felt.... a shiver of cold, the dragon wrapped around him unwrapping and flying around them both protectively. He couldn't explain it but he felt her pain as if his own. What was wrong? What did that look mean? He wasn't sure but he couldn't bring himself to ignore it. "Are you ok?" He asked, hesitating a little as he took a few stepes towards her, the dragon pausing to look at her too, as if the answer was of real significance. He watched her, his trained eye noting every shake, every shimmer, every little flutter of movement that passed between them. "Come." He said, deciding that she didn't have a home, at least not at the moment. "There is somewhere I like to..." hide he mused to himself, though he refused to use that word in front of her. "...stay when I am in this region. You are welcome to use it." It wouldn't be too hard for him to find somewhere else to stay, and he would feel better if this enchanting beauty was protected and sheltered.

Giving him another smile, the sun coming out again it seems. "I won't usurp your home from you." Falling into step with him, not having answered if she was ok. But then she didn't know how to answer that. Physically she was ok, still healing but that was mostly done. As for the rest she had no answer, was she ok? She couldn't remember anything so that would usually be a no, surely if you werent even sure of your own name it wasn't ok?

Drashi frowned a little, she had rejected him so easily that he was actually a little surprised by it... sure part of him should rationalise that it was what people did, you didn't just accept everything offered to you... but still... why did it hurt? The dragon shimmered once, looked around and then disappeared, no longer needed. It always seemed to wear Drashi out when he the dragons finally disappeared, but since their appearance was new, he wasn't sure what to make of it. He hadn't mentioned it to anyone yet, nor did he plan to... that would be... disasterous after all. "Very well m'lady. Your wish is my command." He hadn't meant to say it but the moment the words left his lips he knew that he meant every one of them. Feeling awkward he went silent for a moment and started to walk towards the edge of the forest. He didn't know what to say or do.... so he stayed silent, after all, he was more than comfortable with silence.

"If only..." Her voice so very soft, but the longing unmistakeable. Unaware that she had moved closer as they walked, something in her glad of and seeking the protection he had offered. The idea of a safe place to stay very appealing but she couldn't, it was his place, somehow she knew that she would feel bad about driving him from his home. Stopping as a small flash of pain flittered through her head, her vision going fuzzy for a moment. Unaware of the gasp that left her lips as she stopped. Her eyes closing, shaking her head a little, but nothing new there. Stepping on again giving a little bounce before turning to smile at him, not one to be all depressed and morbid, bouncing on a little before turning to face him, walking backwards, her tail trailing along to her side, it seeming karma was kind to her on some things, nothing tripping her up as she walks backwards smiling at him.

Drashi froze at the sound that escaped her and turned to look at her, concern furrowing his brow. He was about to ask if she was ok, to step closer when she seemed to shake her head.... telling him to keep back? Or trying to shake away what was happening? He wasn't sure, and since he was discovering that there were many different Angeni abilities - His father, Maions, being over the Ocean and his own being connected to spirits or dragons or something.... was that what this was about? He didn't know, but Drashi also didn't want to bring her more harm than comfort. A moment later she started walking again as if nothing had happened, which simply confused him more... was she simply that used to it? Or was she just that strong? Appearances could be decieving, and he wanted to protect her for she looked like a delicate mare that needed such things.... but was that actually true? He didn't know anything about her after all. She was walking backwards now.... how was she doing that? It was like she was almost floating over the ground. He shook his head and then smiled slightly walking after her. "What is your name M'lady?"

Walking backwards till he asked his question, looking thoughtful a moment before answering, turning as her answer leaves her lips. "Vibrance.... I think..." She really wished she could give him a definitive answer but that was the name she knew, if it was a name, it never sounded very namelike to her. Then who was she to judge, name or not it was what she recognised herself as now, it would just be a case of pure luck if it had been her name before.

Drashi found himself actually smiling at that... Vibrance.. that was very fitting. For she was Vibrant. He bowed his head a little and said softly, "A pleasure." he knew he was repeating some of the conversation they had already had, but for some reason he had felt the sudden need to know her name, so there it was... of course, it then sunk in that she said I think, what did that mean? It posed more questions than it answered. "You think?" He said questionly, wondering if he should ask her directly or not.

She nods, looking around and then giving him an unsure but bright smile. "Its my name now, I don't know if it is actually my name. What about you? What is your name?" Looking at him, her head tilted as they walk.

Drashi tilted his head a little too and contemplated her words, not wnating to pry even as he nodded and just accepted what she said. They wouldn't need to know much about each other, they were strangers and they would remain so, for Drashi had no intention of stopping just yet.... he had promised to find himself, and he had every intention of doing just that.... not even this beautiful mare could stop that. "Drashi." He said, a little too bluntly, he soon corrected himself, saying softly, "My name is Drashi."

Grinning as he gives his name, giggling a little after a few moments, thinking it sounded like Dash.. Dashy, maybe he was fast and so had a name that sounded quick? The thouht making her giggle again before going pink with a blush, looking at him apologetically. "Sorry, its a great name, it just made me think of Dash and wonder if you were fast and had been named because of that... Sorry for laughing.." Looking at the ground as they walk, feeling bad, not sure why but thinking that laughing like that might have hurt his feelings, made him think she would tease him, when it was the opposite, she liked his name it was unusual and imaginative. And for some reason that appealed to her a lot.

She was laughing at him? Was his name that bad? His ears flattened a little, of course someone as pretty as her would find him laugh worthy. Stupid idiot. Sure his name was unusual, he had no idea where it even came from, but was it laugh-worthy?... though now that he thought about it he started to wonder if Drashi was connected to Dragons? Wait.... Dash? He played his name over in his head and could almost hear it though he had never considered it. "No, I wouldn't say I am particularly fast." He admitted. Trying to act normal though he kind of wanted to run away now.

Stopping and looking at him, her mismatched eyes sincear, holding his gaze. "I love your name, it suits you, I have no idea what it means but its a good name." Smiling at him again, blushing not wanting to admit that it appealed to her, the uniqueness and imagination that created those sounds into a name, yes it really appealed to her. Turning, still smiling, her voice havign been soft, sincerity coming off her in waves. Wishing she knew more about herself, then maybe she could explain things better, explain why she liked his name without it sounding weird...

Drashi nodded, not always one to speak much at all, so he just nodded, accepting her answer and words even as his mind went back to business. He would protect her, take her to somewhere safer than here and then wipes his hooves of this. She was an Angeni, she could fly he presummed, so he wouldn't have to watch her like a hawk and if something land struck came after her she could get away.... why it was so important she stayed safe he couldn't have said, but Drashi had never enjoyed watching anyone getting hurt, which was probably why he had been a protector for his herd... something that brought with it a pang of guilt, how were they doing without him?

Walking along in silence, looking around, turning now and then, the world around interesting her, much like a foal that had seen it for the first time right this moment. Smiling as she looks around, smiling at him occasionally, but seeming comfortable enough in the silence. Though if she could have read minds she would have corrected him, he had just met an angeni that couldn't fly. Well she could except whenever she tried and got more than jumping height off the ground she had a panic attack which resulted in her being on teh ground gasping for air while frozen in terror. She had no idea why.

Drashi glanced at her and watched her looking around free spirited and foal-like at the world around her, as if it was all new... was that the case? Was that why she didn't know if her name really was Vibrance? DRATS! But now he was asking himself more and more questions despite telling himself he wouldn't do that.... keep them seperate... keep them strangers..... in order to distract himself he found the words "Are you hungry?" Slipping from his lips.

Looking at him, her full smiling regard soley on him again at his question, making him the centre of her world for that moment. Giving it a little thought, barely enough to notice that she had even considered it before giving a gentle nod. "Yes actually... Are you?" Not pushing and not prying, unlike many mares she wasn't even flirting, and given the way she looked around so innocently she wouldn't even know how to flirt.

"I could eat." he said nonecommitedly, he would survive either way. Still, now he found himself with a purpose, even if those eyes, making him feel like the centre of everything were a little disconcerting for him. "What do you enjoy?" For some reason, with her looking at him like that he was pretty sure he would go and get her any food she requested, from anywhere in the world.

The question made her blink, and then she looked slightly to the side as she thought, her tongue popking out a little as she considered his question. Finally shurgging and giving him an apologetic smile. "I have no idea. Maybe we should opt for whatever is close?" Yeah she felt pathetic, she couldn't even tell someone what food she liked.

Ok, the more he heard the more he was convinced she had lost her memory. He nodded at her. If she wanted to try a few local things he would indulge her, for now at least. he glanced around to see if there was anything directly by them and spotted a fruit tree. Plums, not completely ripe but edible enough. He jumped, spreading his wings and grapping one of the fruits before placing it before her. "This is a plum, they are a little sweeter in the summer though...." Already looking for something else to offer her.

"Plum..." Giggling a little as she tastes the word, she found enjoyment in the strangest things, but then the way she rolled the sound it did sound tasty. Leaning down and taking a bite out the plum, chewing as she thinks over what he said, sweeter in the summer, was summer soon? Finding that teh fruit was a little tart still so guessing that summer came next and that the tang on her tongue wouldn't be there when she ate teh fruit again. Smiling at him her tongue tingling a little. "Its good, thank you." Taking another bite, seeming fine with her plum.

He nodded a little distracted but didn't see much else, there were a few birds on a berry bush that he decided not to disturb... maybe there were carrots near by? He looked over at her then nodded in the direction he was going to take as he looked for more foods for her.

Looking around as she slowly ate, not seeming to mind his wandering off, havign a feeling that he would be back, he didn't seem the type to leave without a fairwell. So she took her time and took in her surroundings as he wandered.

Drashi didn't go too far before finding some sweet grass, he collected some and took it back to her. He remembered how all of Chandra's girls had loved this stuff. That made him smile but a little homesick all at the same time... he missed them. He really did. "Sweet grass." He said, his voice a little pained, even as he offered a slight smile. "Generally loved by foals."

Her eyes locking onto him again, concern in them, silently asking if he was ok, though she lowered her eyes again, before voicing the question. Taking a mouthful of the grass and chewing it, deciding is she liked it or not. It was not so strong a flavour as the plum, but it was good. Nodding and smiling at him. "With good reason, this is good." Supping up another mouthful with enthusiasm and smiling at him.

Drashi nodded and smiled a little at her, taking a leaf of the grass for himself and chewing it in his mouth longer than needed so he could savour the flavour... and maybe cheat his stomach into thinking he was fuller than he probably was. "I'm glad." He said quietly, almost too quietly. Then he asked, a little stronger, "Still hungry?" He had forgotten how much others ate.

Shaking her head and nudging half the grass over to him, having had enough for now, smiling, not having missed that he had only had a mouthful. "I've had enough for now, thank you." Wandering around the small clearing they were in letting him eat in peace, exploring much like a foal, poking her nose in thingsm gettign her mane hooked on a twig, laughing when she got a leaf stuck on her hoof.

He took the time to watch her as he ate her leftovers, it was... refreshing, and in a way he started to see the world with more innocent rathe rthan jaded eyes.... it seemed she was infectious. Still, he couldn't help but wonder if it was an act or if she was really like this all the time? He knew of mares who would use different strategies to pull in unsuspecting stallions and make them do their every whim.... not that Vibrance would have to work this hard if that was her goal, despite everything Drashi was a sucker for a mare in distress and a pretty face... Vibrance appeared to be both. A striking combination that brought forth the heart of the knight within him. He finished off the sweet grass, and although he felt a little bad about pulling her away he said softly, "Time to go." They shouldn't linger.

"Mmmm Ok!" Pulling her head out from where she had poked it this time, a twig with some leaves still on stuck in her hair now too, though she hadn't noticed and just smiled as she wandered over to him ready to go when he was. Just being who and what she was, everythign had possibilities, you just needed to find them.

He glanced at her and noticed the leaf and twig and wondered if he should tell her about them. Or would that be rude? In the ended he decided it would be more polite if he did, after all some mares cared a lot about their appearance, and although she didn't appear to be among them so far that might not be the truth. "Vibrance," he name rolled so easily off his tongue. "you have a few hitchikers in your hair."

Vibrance looked round, having a lot of hair so there could be any number of hitchikers. "Do they look friendly or not?" Thinking he might mean she had collected some bugs or something, she didn't want a bug bite, aside from hurting that would be no fun. Looking at him again, not havign seen any bugs, but then she couldn't see all of her hair, though her question had beenvery cute, looking at him not havign found anything.

Drashi watched her... wow, adorable... for a moment he was flawed by the sight of her, and had to shake his head to recentre himself. Ok, get a grip Drashi. Out. Of. your. League. End of conversation. "My apologies M'lady, I meant..." he reached forward and picked out one of the leaves and then dropped it away from them bother. "That kind of hitchiker."

Grinning at him and nodding her head before dipping into a bow. "Thank you good sir I am saved!" Not sure what it was about his calling her lady, but two could play at that game, or at lease she thought so. Not seeming overly fussed about her hair though, then again it looked somewhat of a maze, the kind that would have Renesme squealing and begging to play with.

He quirked a brow at her, that was the second time she had called him Sir.... no one ever called him that, they simply blushed and accepted his formal ways as the given... but she... well, she was different he would give her that. Her hair looked like she had wanted to try lots of different styles but couldn't quite decide... yet strangely they all went exotically well together, as if the mismatched pattern was completely styled like that on purpose. Perhaps it was? He wasn't sure. He frowned a moment laster, the amusument and quite joy he felt suddenly making him feel pained as he looked away. This wasn't right....! "You're welcome." he said blunt once more as he stepped forth without attempting to aid her once more. "My safe haven is not far." he would leave her there and leave. Yes, that would be for the best for both of them.

She didn't seem to mind him being blunt, she just smiled at him and walked beside him, looking around with that wide eyed interest again, finding a large leaf and playing some sort of silly random game as he didn't seem to want to talk. The object of the game seeming to be to keep the leaf in the air and ahead of herwhile walking by puffing it with huffs of air from her mouth. Not that it was much of a point but it left him with peace and quiet and amused her for the time being, though soon the leaf drifted away and she was once again looking around with curious eyes.

Through the corner of his eye he watched her play with a leaf, if he didn't know better he would think her still a foal... maybe she wasn't long past? Which oddly made him feel old.... his own children would be older than if that was the case. He was learning that there was little point asking her since she didn't see to know or answer much with a solid answer, bar her possible name. He should put this all down to a pleasant memory; a strange mare, who for a day, brought sunshine back into his life. He shook his head and focused on where they were going, the path had already started going up, his place having a higher point of view so he could watch for intruders while he rested. A habit now. No where was as safe as the home he had once known..... and boy, but he missed them, he really did, but he still wasn't ready to return, had no reason too.

Looking around, noting that they were getting higher up, this making her edge closer to him, her lack of flying abaility and her reaction to trying making her very wairy of high places, though it depended on what the place was like, cliffs were teh worst place on land where she would be very afraid  and usually run away from the edge. Though all the time she had her feet on the ground and could see a clear way down she was mostly fine.

Drashi noted that she moved closer, and frowned a little, asking softly, "You ok?" he really couldn't figure her out.

She gave an unsure nod, walking more slowly, becoming less carefree. "Yes... I... I just don't do well in high places..." This said like she found nothing od in the idea of a being covered in wings finding hights an issue, then again if asked she wouldn't know anyone that could fly, not that she could remember anyway.

Drashi quirked a brow at that, "But... you're..." He shut himself up, not everyone was the same... but she was an Angeni! The Angeni could fly higher and faster and longer than any other breed.... how was she against high places? He stopped, suddenly a little concerned for her. "Woul you rather we went lower?"

She shook her head, her eyes firmly on the ground. "I'll be ok as long as I can see the way down..." Her ears hacing drooped  at his first two words, bit pinning her gaze on him not about to let him leave thigns unsaid this time, not letting herself run away from it. "I'm what?" Her words soft and gentle but the most serious he had heard from her.

Ok, he had hurt her. He was as sure of that as he was about anything else in his life. Her serious tone didn't seem to suit her... she had been so carefree and happy... yet with each moment she stayed with him it seemed to deflate little by little. It was like he was a shadow sucking out her goodness, her light... and for what? A decent memory? No! He couldn't do it, wouldn't bring harm to this beautiful creature. If only Arianna had abandoned him BEFORE anything had happened he would have been so much happier now. He stepped away, the past merging with the present until he wasn't sure which was reality and which memory. "I'm sorry M'lady.... I spoke out of turn. Please. forget what I said. Forget me."

Shaking her head looking at him keenly not about to drop it, she wanted to know what he had been about to say, whatever it was it had given her a headache again, what was she? "What am I?..." Her voice quieter but still serious probably having more questions about herself than he did. Shaking her head again trying to get rid of the pain that was building up in her head.

It was as she repeated the question that he hesitated, it sounded so important to her.... what am I? Did she not know? Or was it simply she wanted to know what he thought of her? He didn't know, so he looked away and found himself blushing even as he answered her, answered and prayed she wouldn't be too upset. "You are an Angeni. And a very beautiful one at that."

A shudder passing through her as the memory that had been trying to free itself popped into her head, the pain easing as the small fragment played through her mind. Claws, pain, the sound of falling rocks and a voice. 'I'll clip your wings for you angeni!' Her eyes focusing on him again, the pain gone as she looks at him, repeating the word. "Angeni...." Blushing that he thought she was beautiful but still looking at him like he had just shown her how the sun came up. "Like you!" Having noticed the breed traits they both shared, leaving it up to interpretation to weather she meant that he was beautiful too, she thought he was but she was not prone to flirting, but if he asked she wouldn't deny it. Though mostly she meant he was angeni too.

She shuddered... visably shuddered, but why? He was concerned, actually stepped closer, but it seemed to pass though Drashi did frown a little at her Like you comment, which did she mean? That he was an Angeni also or that he was beautiful? It was then he decided to do what Maion had once done to him... but owning his own power. He lowered his head and bowed low for her. "Drashi, Angeni of Dragons." He glanced up, his eyes smiling despite himself... man! But that look, it was something he wanted to bottle up and keep forever, no one had ever looked at him like that... like he was everything, the sun, the moon, the planets, their centre....! Not even Arianna or his own children, his son's were both quite independant.

Blinking at the formal introduction a bright smile on her face, still having that look in her eyes as she regarded him. "Of dragons?... So Angeni is a title?" Missing the point a little, though it did sound liek a title when you were domained, totally unaware of her own domain or the powers that had started to drift about her in her excitement at learning something new and remembering something. Though it wasn't a good memory it was something at least. Now she could hope that more memories would surface.

Drashi nodded softly at her, "Kind of... Angeni is the name of our breed. Four wings upon our backs, two head wings, some have leg wings also..... we come in different forms and shapes, some have additional powers other's don't." He couldn't believe he was saying all this, he sounded patronising to his own ears, she was a grown mare not some foal for him to lecture! Still, he seemed on a roll and unable to stop. "We are known as blessings from the gods, or to some, we are gods walking upon the earth." Drashi felt like neither but would not say it. "That make sense?" He hoped she understood and that he hadn't completely just misunderstood the way she had posed her last few questions.
PostPosted: Fri Apr 26, 2013 6:33 am

Looking at him, nodding having understood most of what he said, looking at her wings, stretching a couple out and thinking, musing aloud though she was unaware of it. "Blessings....... ....... .......clipped wings?" Her wings fine, she could fly on them though it was clear that at some point she had lost several feathers as some were still growing back in. Thinking over what he said, not sure what clipping wings was but it sounded painful, why would someone want to harm a blessing?

Drashi frowned at her..... clipped wings? His eyes darted to her wings, and before he could stop himself he appraoched and looked at them closely, sure enough some of her feathers were missing, indeed clipped... who would do that do her? Why would anyone want to ground an Angeni? That was like burning down a Cerynei's forest! Or stealing a unicorns healing. Unnatural. Wrong. Was that why she dislikes heights? Had she fallen? Hurt herself? Or had that lead to her wings being clipped? He didn't know or understand but suddenly realised that she was in greater need of protection than he had originally thought. His attention turned from her wing to her face, sorrow littering his eyes even if his features remained stoic. "Who tried to clip your wings?" He knew she probably wouldn't even know.... but still he had to ask, the need to avenge her suddenly raging within him.

"The voice with the claws." the answer immediate and sure, her memory not giving much away but it gave an answer to that. Folding her wings up again as she thought over the memory, telling him all that she could remember. "Claws, the voice... 'I'll clip your wings for you angeni!'... Pain and the sound of falling rocks...." Not a big memory and it told them little but given that it was all she had remembered to date she was rather pleased.

Drashi knew what that sounded like.... skinwalker... or maybe a creature like Haki, since it seemed other beings were in the world who had claws like that..... he didn't know, nor did he want to guess. Since she didn't remember perhaps she was not meant to remember, they said the mind blocked out things too painful to remember. "Ok...." he said softly nodding as if he was deciding something, which in many ways he was.... to change the subject. "Come, lets keep walking, we shouldn't linger."

Nodding, walking with him again, sticking close still, not havign forgotten this was high ground, but she seemed fine as long as she kept her eyes on him and the ground.

Drashi acknowlegde that she followed, nodding softly to her in a hope to be reasurring even as he said, "Not far now." And sure enough it wasn't the spot he liked to stop at was far from obvious if you didn't know what you were looking at... but among the rock face of the towering mountain was a lot of green climbing plants that covered the surface.... among them were a gap, large enough for two to sit comfortable side by side if you wanted, though generally it was just him. He nosed at the greenery that grew freely to reveal the spot that he called his own so high up... it wasn't much, hardly anything if truth was told, but when you started with less than this, well this was appealing suddenly. Of course, now she was before the spot Drashi felt beyond embarassed.

Moving up beside him, peeking into his little hide away and smiling. "So pretty, like a little seceret world all for you." Her imagination seizing the idea it seeing perfect to her. Her eyes gleaming as she turned her head and smiled at him, so close, her hair brushing his side as she looked around the space.

Drashi froze... wait... had she really just said that? He tilted his head a little but slowly a smile started to bloom on his features and she nodded in thanks to her. "Yeah...." There was nothing else to say after all, he coughed a little and then looked anywhere but Vibrance. "As I said earlier, you are welcome to stay. Its not much but it will keep you hidden and protected from the weather."

Laughing a little at that. "The weather doesn't hurt anyone." Nuzzling some of the leaves on a vine seeming to be assessing the functionality of the space on her own unusual scale, the vines seeming to measure up.

He chuckled a little, "I assume you haven't been in many snow snorms or been under hail with no shelter then." Yeah, both of them could hurt....

Blinking at him, her head tilting. "Snow?" She had no idea if she had or hadn't, the word didn't stur up any hints in her mind.

Drashi frowned again, ok, the more he saw the more he realised that she really didn't seem to know anything about anything... how had she lost her memory? Or was it possible that she was just completely sheltered? Had she escaped from somewhere? Was that why she had had her wings clips and didn't like heights? He knew his mind was running away from him but he couldn't seem to stop himself. He shook his head, unable to stop himself. "Cold, white... fluffy." He looked up a little wistful, remembering a sight he once seen of his father flying up in the snow with Heze... they had looked so... beautiful. Up there, together, careful and magnificent. "It falls from the sky, drifts and floats and dances in the air in flakes." He said softly, suddenly wondering why he was talking so much, and so... poetically. He didn't know he just felt... inspired.

Another small flash of pain as another vague memory surface, her eyes going wide. "Mountaintops!" Blurting the word out, it not seeming to have anything to do with anything, but she had seen mountaintops covered in white snow. Blinking at him and smiling as his poetic phrasing penitrated her surprised head, nodding having an understanding of snow now.

He blinked in suprise at her random, or at least to him, outburst, and for a moment he looked up at the mountain woundering if it was collasping or something.... but no movement. Then he realised that maybe she was having some sort of memory recall? Like she had earlier....? Curious, maybe they could discover over things that would trigger memories. "I don't mean to pry M'lady." He said softly, "but it seems that talking is helping you remember... if its not too painful for you we could try and talk some more, see if you remember anything else?" Now he was suddenly unsure that he had it right... what if he had just insulted her?

Nodding and then tilting her head, not sure she wanted to share about the headache, but then the pain seemed different with each memory, maybe that was some indication to how important it was or something. She had no idea but the snow had hurt less than the claws... This thought setting her laughing softly again, still nodding, gasping out as she tries to control herself. "Talking might help a lot yes." Amusement heavy in her tone but she had stopped laughing, wondering if he would ask this time, not having missed that neither of thme really asked anything.

He watched her, a little taken aback by the laughter but he wasn't sure what to do or say. He blinked a little then shook his head and smiled... it took all sorts. Still, she had at least said she wished to talk... though now she said that he wasn't sure what to actually talk about. "Eh...." And why was she laughing? He was curious! Maybe that would be a starting point, a little apprehensively he asked, "What is so funny?"
PostPosted: Fri Apr 26, 2013 7:43 am

Still smiling though the laughter was over with she still sounded very amused, though it was probably a joke only she would find funny. "Claws hurt more than snow..." Pretty sure that more explanation would be needed but let him ask, this was entertaining, besides part of her was extreamly happy that he was asking.

Claws hurt more than snow? He was a little confused again but shook it off. Was she saying she knew that claws hurt more than snow? Or that their memories hurt more? Should he ask or not? The fact was that he didn't want to cause her pain. So, he decided that he would just go with his own reasoning and hope it was similar. "I see. Do you like the snow?" Focus on good stuff... she was too pure to upset.

Nodding in answer, a little disapointed he hadn't asked something more adventious but leaving it at that. "Snow is pretty." Snow had never done her harm, at least she thought so, and so snow was something to be liked.

He nodded, once again stuck on what he should talk about now... he shifted awkwardly on his hooves and looked away. "Sorry... I'm not very good at this."

She shrugged and smiled, not being much better. "Its ok I don't think I am either, besides its just nice having company again, hearing a voice... Thinking someone cares even if it is only fleeting." It seemed she could be rather poetic herself, and lonely, her words made her sound lonely.

Her words summoned the sadness that was in his heart, he could relate to it completely and had to shake his head to clear his thoughts. He couldn't and wouldn't keep her, needed to stop finding connections. "Indeed." He said softly, "But for the record, I do care... even if we do not know each other for long."

Nodding, understanding that well enough, looking at the ground, trying to think of somethign to talk about, his lack of prying with her made her uncomfortable to ask him anything, he seemed sad too and she didn't want to bring up things that would make him more sad.

He stood a little awkardly, looking over the view then chuckling slightly. "This is a first for me...." After all, in the herd his family would fill the space with their chatting, dragging him into the conversation whether he wanted to be or not. Chandra was particularly talented at getting him to talk to her, to the point that he even went to speak to her a few times when he had an issue or three.... like when he had attacked Serenity and needed help. He shook his head and tried to think of all the conversations he had ever had... but what did you say to someone who was struggling to remember even what they liked to eat? "Have you ever been in a herd?"

She pondered this, not able to remember a herd, not able to remember much of anything, but she could answer what she felt. "I don't know... but.... ...This feels new... like a new wound.... being alone.... " Not sure if that made sense, it was just a feeling, but when she was on her own it was fine but thinking about being alone when she had company like this, it hurt, an ache in her chest and head that made her think that she hadn't been alone before.

Ok, so Drashi was confused again, he took a moment to think about her words, they seemed to say and hide so much at the same time. Not a herd... but maybe a mate? "A mate?" He asked, and for some reason he felt a small twang of jealousy.... but then again, didn't that make sense? He had always wanted a love so strong that it could withstand anything... but the first taste he had had turned out to be fake, a lie... and here he was... alone aswell. Did anything truly last forever? Scythe and Vara had died together, in love for an eternity.... yet his father and Sengdroma seemed in trouble.... why did it work for some and not others? Why not for him?

Shaking her head, not feeling heartbroken, at least she didn't think she did. "I don't think so... family maybe... its how I would imagine a foal feels when its lost its mother... I suppose... lost, sad, alone..." It was hard to quantify a feeling, especially as she had no idea what was actually causing it, but it could be she lost a parent or maybe even a child.... she hoped it wasn't a child, surely her heart would hurt worse if she had lost a child?

Drashi listened and wasn't entirely sure what to make of that, it sounded so familiar... but the fact was he wasn't about to talk about his own heartache, in one foul swoop he lost the mare he loved and a child, then if things weren't worst he pretty much abandoned the son he had been left with, too heartbroken to actually stay together. He shook his head, not the time. "I see...." He said, then suddenly burst out with a "Sorry." he coughed, clearing his throat, "I mean, I'm sorry you had to go through that....." Whatever that was.

Looking at him and smiling. "Thank you but its ok. I'll remember if I'm supposed to, and if not....  I cant spend my life looking behind me, I might biss whats to come." Blinking at herself for that, wondering how she had come up with it? Well there was no tellign what might leak out her head now that it seemed to have sprung a leak.

Might miss something? How was it that someone who remembered less than him was so much wiser? After all it was the letting go that Drashi knew he had trouble with.... what was he supposed to do? It wasn't as simple as just letting go..... GAH! He laughed at himself, "You're far wiser than I..." he mused, shaking his head and shifting his wings until they were flat upon his back to protect him from the wind that was picking up.

Shaking her head. "Not really, its easy to do when you only have whats to come to look to. I am at teh beginning of my path, even if I do remember everythign it will never be the same. I'm Vibrance now, Not who I was then. It would be nice to remember so I could understand but I suppose its like being born again, everything is new." Shrugging again, this the most she had said all at once that she could remember.

He listened and frowned realising that that was what the difference was, that it was the truth for Vibrance to not know anything... maybe he should find a way to forget everything? To start again? Would that help? Or would he miss all the other things he would have to forget as well? He closed his eyes and sighed. "Yeah... I see." He nodded at her. "What can you remember?" If anything?

Shaking her head. "Not much, the one that found me when I was hurt said that there was no way to know what would bring my memories back, but that it would take time and that it could happen all at once or in bits and pieces. I was with them for a while as I recovered. I remember snowy mountain, I remember about the claws, I remember a song, but I don't know who was singing it and I remember a place with lots of water, like the bigest most angry river, its own sounds raging agaisnt the storm..." Frowning a little never havign understood that memory, the thunderstorm raging in the sky, the ocean raging back as it crashed into the cliff which she seemed to be stood on. Most of her memories were only a few seconds of time but they were enough of a glimpse to make an impact.

Drashi chuckled a little, and wondered if she was talking about the Ocean. "Don't tell me you remember a huge starry pelted male near the Ocean." He was only joking but he knew his father liked to go back to the ocean, feeling its call since he was so heavily connected to it. He wasn't trying to make fun of Vibrances memories, he just wasn't very good at this whole conversation with a stranger thing. "It sounds beautiful though...." He rather enjoyed listening to storms, watching them rage over the land, the colours, the anger, the screaming of the world that showed its true power and strength... and once it left everything was so fresh smelling, new and clean.

Shaking her head. "I never remember anyone else, voices, and feelings that go with the voices but never anything that tells me who they are. " Smiling at him and shaking her head saying what popped into her mind though she didn't know why. "Don't wish away what you have Drashi, whatever it is that makes you sad you would be more sad without it because the good gets taken too..." And that was te htruth of it, she had no memories, good or bad, just feelings, lonliness, loss, fear... and no reason for feeling them.

He looked at her amazed for a moment then shook his head as he smiled. "I was just thinking the same." His smile faded to look a little sad but he turned to look at Vibrance instead, recalling something his sister had once said, No matter how bad you think it is Drashi, there is always someone who is in a worst place. You need to find a place in life and not let go, fight for it. Because trust me, you are worth fighting for. Damn, but he really did miss them! Chandra and her girls, even her mate Sonnet.... the laughter was simply... gone. This encounter with Vibrance was the first time he had laughed and heard laughter in a while, even if she did seem to have a rather dramatic sence of humour.... though he had to admit he was starting to like it. "Don't rush it Vibrance, maybe you were given this as a gift?" He wasn't sure what possessed him to say any of this but it was too late to stop now. "You get to see the world all again, relearn yourself, discover the real you and discover the world around you all over again." He laughed a little, his body shuddering and his wings twitching a little. "I envy you a little for that."

Looking up at him and smiling, giving a nod. "Maybe, would be nice to think so mmm? Certanly gets to thinking..." Sighing not about to become melancholy, she had a new start, just like he said and it seemed to be something he wanted for himself. But there were things she didn't even know about that she craved, her heart yearned for something, ached for others. How could you explain to someone what it was like, to be nonexistant unless someone was there to confirm that you were not a being of your own imagination. He saw her, talked to her., he had pulled a leaf from her hair, she had felt it. But alone it was hard to keep a grip on reality when nothing was there to anchor her.

Drashi felt awkward again, he wasn't sure what to say or do. Yep, he sucked at this.... "Maybe you should get into the shelter Vibrance, the wind is picking up." He said as the wind captured his plates and carried it infront of him.

Nodding and stepping inside, offering no argument but carefully doing a little turn to gather all her hair close before settling out the way, there room for him if he was joining her but it was up to him.

Drashi wasn't planning to join her, finding the space too intimate for the pair of them, and it was only fair to let her have the room. That was the right thing to do after all. His eyes wandered to one of the plants. "Don't eat these vines, they're Poison ivy. Makes the two-leggers scratch." Which was a little funny. Again though, he was just randonmly talking.

Looking at the vines and nodding, her image of a two legger bizzar, a soquili with 2 legs, it was a funny but disturbing image. Her wings fluffing up as she settled, looking vaguely like a mother bird on a nest. Having the feeling that he was going to leave now but saying nothing, her gaze not accusing. Just smiling softly and settling, her eyes on him as she relaxes.

Ok, so it was true that Drashi was starting to feel uncomfortable and useless, two things that happened rather often around others. What could he do to make himself useful? "I'll scout the area." She said softly, nodding at her. Yes. That gave him something to do. "You should be safe here, stay as long as you wish...." Should he say more? Was he meant to say more? He had no idea, so he just nodded at her again and started a little shakily up the path.

Closing her eyes she decided a small nap might be a good idea, after all she had recovered 2 memories today and it left her feeling somewhat drained. Though she shouldn't linger, this was his place and he should be free to use it. She would rest and be on her way. After all she seemed to make him uncomfortable.
