As the group watched from above the shaking of the building paused for an instant, a bright green light glowing through the windows and the gaping holes in the buildings. A deafening explosion followed, mushrooming into a bright green fireball. The very air pressure of the explosion would send everyone flying backwards. Chunks of metal, some as big as buildings, rocketed in every direction creating countless fireballs that ejected into the sky. It was as if a volcano had erupted. Several silent moments went by as ashes began to waft down like snow. Athena was the one who spoke first. "They're be no recovering from that...." she said darkly. "Good," Misa spat. Athena glared at her for a moment before shaking her head. "Fine. Whatever. You win. Congratulations." She sighed and turned away. "I guess you can go do whatever you want. It's over." "As if we need your permission!" Misa retorted to the retreating form of Athena. She looked back at Rei and Kaoru, frowning for a moment before giving them a smile and a nod. "We did it," she told them. "We couldn't have done it without you. So...when the DWMA needs our support, you can count on us being there!"

Post-Mission Report
With Lucrum Labs up in smoke, countless years of research and study have been lost, but thousands of prisoners who were used for experimentation are free. All that's left of the labs themselves is a massive smoking crater, though the area is still considered hazardous due to the failed experiments still wandering the area. Daring looters will sometimes scavenge the ruins looking for valuable technology, though as of yet not a single one has reported seeing the body of the Black Warden. Likewise, the resistance movement has vanished though they have promised to come to the aid of Lord Death should he ever need them. Rumors of a freelance mercenary cyborg named Athena have cropped up in the nearby areas though she doesn't seem to be causing any trouble at the moment. Misa V2 was taken under Lord Death as a ward of the city and remains there for now. Nothing has been heard about Dr. Faust nor has his body been recovered.

Requirements:

Misa V2 is a second-generation highly advanced cyborg born from years of experimentation on live humans with the power of sonic waves. Her body implants naturally attune her to sound waves and allow her to physically manipulate these waves into a powerful force while also increasing and fine-tuning her hearing beyond that of even a canine. Lord Death has willingly allowed her to stay in Death City where she can train her powers.
Misa: Earned
Requirements:
1. Misa must survive Completed
2. DWMA team must choose to side with the resistance movement Completed
Misa was one of the first cyborg experiments to come out of the Lucrum Labs. Although she was somewhat of a rough draft her tenacity and natural talent more than made up for it. She was also one of the first cyborgs to escape and ever since has been using her talents to fight against Lucrum. Like Misa V2, her special implants allow her to manipulate sound waves though unlike Misa V2, Misa requires her firearms to use them. She has agreed to come to the aid of Lord Death at any time he needs her.
Rielly Earned
Requirements:
1. Rielly must survive Completed
2. DWMA team must choose to side with the resistance movement Completed
Rielly is another one of the first generation cyborgs who rebelled against Lucrum Labs. Her strength comes in the form of her giant railgun that is capable of penetrating even the thickest of material. Her unusual accuracy with the railgun can be attributed to the optical implants she has received that continually feed her a stream of visual data. Like Misa, she has agreed to help the DWMA in a time of need.
Tessa and Cinder: Earned
Requirements:
1. Tessa and Cinder must survive Completed
2. DWMA team must choose to side with the resistance movement Completed
Tessa and Cinder are the third and fourth team members of the resistance. Although Tessa is mostly passive, her cyborg companion Cinder packs massive firepower in the form of thermal energy. Cinder is able to heat up both its own body and the surrounding area to make powerful burning attacks. Cinder's armor is nothing to be sneered at either as it can take massive damage before it gives. Cinder is unquestioningly loyal to Tessa and will protect her at all costs. Tessa (and therefore Cinder) have agreed to aid the DWMA in its time of need.
Tracy Red Earned
Requirements:
1. All three other resistance members must survive Completed
2. DWMA team must choose to side with the resistance movement Completed
Tracy Red is the strongest and most dynamic member of the resistance movement. Her leadership abilities, experience and cyborg implants make her by far the strongest of the first generation cyborgs. Her two cybernetic familiars also greatly impact her prowess. In addition to their effectiveness as weapons of war, they are able to act independently and cooperatively, gathering intelligence and performing various operations in the field. In gratitude for the survival of all her fellow resistance fighters, Tracy Red has agreed to personally help out Lord Death with any problems that may arise in the future.
Athena V3: Not Earned
Requirements:
1. Athena must survive Completed
2. DWMA team must choose to side with Lucrum Labs Incomplete
3. Misa, Rielly, Tessa and Cinder must not survive Incomplete
Athena is one of the new generation of cyborgs and the most advanced ones to date. Her enhancements leave even Misa V2 in the dust. As the personal assistant of Dr. Faust Athena has countless difficult battles under her belt. Equipped with a heavy machine gun, grenade launcher and optical targeting system, Athena V3 is by far one of the deadliest cyborgs ever created
The Sufferer: Not Earned
Requirements:
1. The Sufferer must not be released Incomplete
2. The Sufferer's memories must be recovered Incomplete
3. The Sufferer must survive Incomplete
The Sufferer is one of Lucrum Lab's many failed experiments, but she is by far the most dangerous. Having become crazed after countless surgeries, injections and shock treatments, the Sufferer is immune to pain, fear and intimidation. Her seething madness allows her to attack her targets with ruthless determination. Despite her condition, The Sufferer's memories are kept on file elsewhere within the lab in case the time ever comes where she can be put to good use.
Radiation Units: Not Earned
Requirements:
1. DWMA team must choose to side with Lucrum Labs Incomplete
2. Lucrum Labs must not be destroyed Incomplete
3. Dr. Faust must survive Incomplete
Radiation cyborgs are incredibly strong mass produced units developed by Lucrum Labs. These cyborgs are not only powerful but hazardous just being near. The Radiation they give off causes damage and serious side-effects to any organic beings in the area and is a potent threat in any combat situation. When enough Radiation units gather together on the battlefield, just being nearby can cause radiation poisoning and a quick death. Lucrum Labs is currently the only facility capable of producing these units and keeps them in radiation-proof capsules until it is time for them to be deployed.
The Black Warden: Not Earned
Requirements:
1. The DWMA team must somehow secure a truce between the resistance movement and Lucrum Labs... Incomplete
The pinnacle of Lucrum Lab's research, The Black Warden is the fierce guardian of the lab complex itself. The deadly beast is well-known throughout the area as a swift bringer of death to any who would intrude upon lab territory. The schematics for the creation of such a creature is a fiercely guarded secret but it is said to have been developed by Dr. Faust himself. Nearly invincible, The Black Warden comes equipped with state-of-the-art missile and laser technology.
Personal Rewards:X-V82 Combat Armor
Recovered from the ruins of The Lucrum Labs, these prototype combat suits have been designed to resonate with and amplify the wearer's natural wavelengths. The armor plating itself helps diffuse both kinetic and wavelength based attacks, though it can't protect from mind-altering effects. The interior of the armor increases the wearer's physical strength without sacrificing too much in the way of speed or mobility. Although seemingly small, the eye/viewports allow the wearer 180 degree vision allowing them to see through their peripheral vision as clearly as if they were looking directly at something. The viewports of the helmet also allow the wearer to see clearly through any kind of haze or fog whether naturally or artificially induced. These suits are the only ones of their kind as the product had yet to go into mass production before Lucrum Labs was destroyed. |
