Far, far in the outskirts of the Lunarian side, lies many columns and statues in ruins, some cut in half, and some in bits and pieces from the war that raged on between Solaria and Lunaria. Several stonery has blood splattered stains on them, as permanent reminder of what went on there. Despite the violence, lunar violets choose to grow here, in the memory for those who died on the Lunarian side. When caught by the moonlight, they give off a beautiful light, and become almost a pale translucent blue color, the roots glowing in the ground. These flowers are the trademark of the ruins.

The moon cast its clear eyes down at the several split columns that lay scattered all around the war ruins. Perounelle sat calmly on a particular column, her long, green dress covering her feet. She looked up at the moon, almost longingly. Nostalgia and melancholy filled her expression. She looked content, and at peace with everything around her. Perounelle held a glass of clear, white wine in her dainty gloved hands, the sleeves of her dress drawing contrast to the gloves, making the emerald gown look much lovelier in comparison. Prior to the war, she had become queen, and couldn't help but reflect back on what happened. It was a sad time, one that made her indeed feel sad, but Perounelle returned to this place both for the memories, and the moon. Its light was unobscured here, and the lunar violets, in all their beautiful glory, made Perounelle feel as if the bloodshed was necessary. The moon's harsh light shined upon every last column's nook and crevice. And she loved every inch of it. It was gorgeous, and it was history.

Yes, being here brought back very violent, and simply awful memories, but Perounelle didn't stop herself from thinking about them. It happened because of the ignorance of the people of equinox, and it is not up to them to see the effects. Violence was required for there to have peace, and as much as Perounelle disliked unnecessary bloodshed, it was a part of life. She was at least glad the moon and the sun were still there, with their endless neutrality, and un-judgmentalness. Always there, but never being. And for that, she was grateful.

She took a sip of her wine, closing her eyes and taking a deep breathe in, taking in the scent of the lunar violets, and the air of Lunaria. It was all calm, and she opened her eyes, her finger gently rimming her glass, a gentle, soft whistling noise coming from the action. The solitude cut deep into her heart and through the air. Breezes crept up her spine, and through her hair, waiting for another. Expecting and there, but just as the sun and moon, never being.

A darkened silhouette that reflected not a hint of moonlight, walking among the broken pieces of history with a peculiar skip in her step. She was completely silent, not a fox nor owl would know she was there. Her long silky hair the color of the night sky, like threads that had been torn away at some point. Her skin was as pure white as the moon, not a blemish or fault anywhere. She ran one of her hands across a mangled vine, picking off a leaf when she reached the end. She had not done this on purpose, she'd simply heard something. It was the sound of breathing, and the small thought of pressing her fingers to a glass crossed her mind. Cello cocked her head to the right like an owl keen for a better view, eyes narrowing slightly. It was most definitely another Lady, a blond lady to be exact, one with a green dress just the shade of green. Cello's bare feet were shown as she lifted her kimono. Tonight's particular piece was red, a very dark, bloody red with clouds of black creeping a long her waist and hips, showing off her dominant curves. Cello remained poised, the moment her eyes connected with the figure, a name came to her head, as names always did. Perounelle.

The demon Queen smiled slightly, no longer meaning to be quiet. "You have a lovely name, Perounelle." She whispered, just audible enough for her to hear. Cello walked into the moonlight, where it should have been all a long. Her silhouette now revealing her pixie-like face and dark red eyes that had a fitting luster, their color almost changing in the light of the moon. The vague scent of lunar violets reminded her that she had indeed been here before, just not seen. She was always hidden in the shadows, her pale skin always pressed to the cooler side of the glass it would seem. The only sound Cello had ever made here, was the whisper she'd just given, practically a gift if you knew Cello quite well. Of course, no one knew her that well. A pity to the king they would say, their Queen being a beauty and all, a treasure that most definitely didn't seem to want to be found. Everything about Cello matched the moon, her skin, her hair, her eyes, the stars glittering in her pupils. The she demon smiled, her expression coy.

Perounelle would have tensed hearing such a calm, light voice out of the blue, but this moment was simply so tranquil, so calm, her eyes simply drifted to her peripheral vision, seeing the silhouette of a woman as pale as snow. She wore clothing that Perounelle did not recognize, and seing this woman, Perounelle turned slightly, facing her.

A complement. The woman's eyes were almost unnerving with their absolute perfect red. It made all of the other shades of red pale in comparison to her rich, smoky eyes. She smelled clean, and earthy. But Perounelle did not mistake her other scent. A demon. She remembered her studies, the faces of current rulers popping up in her mind. Queen Cello of Lunaria.

Perounelle almost wished she was surprised. She only nodded to the woman, and said, "Thank you. Your eyes are as precious as rubies, one might say, Cello." Her eyes drifted over her calmly, taking her her attire and sense of...indifference. It was pleasant. She drifted her hand over the part of ruin she was sitting on, a sign that Cello would not have to be the only one standing at the moment. Her smile was modest, but even the humblest of expressions would do this woman good. The light of the moon attracted to her, and it seemed as if her beauty was only amplified by such light.

Perounelle looked up at the moon and took yet another sip of her wine. "Perhaps it would have been smarter to bring the wine bottle..." She said to herself, her voice soft, but nevertheless, strong toned, unafraid to speak. Perounelle paused and then looked over to Cello once more. "Good night...What brings you here, queen?"

Cello wrapped her slender hands around the other Queen's face, leaning forward as though she was about to place a kiss on Perounelle's lips. But instead, licked the corner of her mouth. It wasn't some kind of sexual deviancy, it was simple, like a cat. How Cello had magically teleported to directly infront of Perounelle was something that most likely wouldn't be answered, nor when it had came over her to lick another Queen's face. "Noire... White?" She smiled, her teeth as white as her skin, the points on them another mark of her demon side. Cello didn't immediately pull away, in fact, she figured she would stay a few moments. The demon gently glided her fingers down Perounelle's jawline, her stare as sharp as the razor used to cut steel. As the final moment of her staring passsed, Cello dropped her hands. "I thought might've been out for a walk." She said, her voice as serious as it could be without sounding urgent.

Cello sat down beside Perounelle, oddly careful about it, like someone would slide a tack right where her tush would be in a few seconds, even glancing to check. Once she sat down, she pulled legs up beside, her position one you might mistake for a mermaid's. Now being comfortable, she was just about as close as she could get to the Queen without leaning on her. Cello seemed indifferent to this, her expression neutral. "Hnn-Hnn. May I ask my dearest Perounelle what she is doing here also, especially with the air like this." She asked, her eyes almost eager like a child's. Sitting, Cello appeared quite small, but when she stood it basically felt like she was towering over you whether she was taller or not. Even if she was acting in an almost childish manner as she was now. The woman beside her was truly quite lovely, she wasn't sharp like Cello, but was rather smooth and sweet. The taste of her being was strong, but not overbearing, like a black tea made just right.

Her hand immediately raised up to the spot that was licked by her tongue, eye brows knitted slightly together from surprise, her eyes slightly wide. Yes, the lick itself surprised her, but what also intrigued her was how casually the woman seemed to act after it. Had she done this before? Her hands were strangely enough - quite warm on her slightly cooled cheeks. But her fingertips seemed slightly cold for some reason. Perounelle's slightly bewildered expression slowly started to face back to it's indifferent neutrality when she told her the name of her wine. So somehow that queer act had given her a taste of her wine. Interesting. Perounelle let out a single chuckle, her version of amusement. "Yes....Noire White..." She put her hand that was on her cheek back in her lap, and then said, "That sure would have been an interesting greeting, Queen," Perounelle said, her voice lighthearted. She then looked at the woman when she glided her cold, but pleasant fingertips down her jawline, Perounelle's eyes peering up at the queen almost like a curious child, the moon illuminating the queen of solaria's curious, yet emotionless orbs. Perounelle's expression softened as the woman spoke, and then proceeded to carefully sit down next to her.

She noticed that the carefulness the woman took before sitting was quite different than her own. When she sat down here, she didn't spare a look if there was a bug, or even dust. She simply plopped down on her tush, not giving a care in the world. In fact, her legs were crossed in quite an unladylike manner underneath her dress, but no one needed to know that. After all, she was alone until the Cello decided to join her. And Perounelle didn't mind that one bit.
"I thought I might've been out for a walk..."

Perounelle nodded to her words, and didn't seem to mind one bit the close proximity the queen had to her. Another thing that Perounelle took in mind now that she was closer to Cello, was her smell.

It filled her nose, almost intoxicating with its earthiness. She would imagine smelling this standing in front of a magnificent waterfall, misty, and mysterious. Perounelle liked it. It was clean, soft, and simply...Calming. So many things about this woman contradicted each other, and she felt this was the woman's loveliest aspect. Like a bipolar rose, thorny yet smooth, sweet smelling with a bitter after odor, and red- like rust. And more exposure turned it various shades of blue, red, and white. It was lovely.

Cello then proceeded to ask what Perounelle was doing there, and after a small pause after the woman's question, Perounelle answered simply, "This night simply required something more...Other than calm tranquility and normalcy. It needed a reminiscence....And here provided."

She took a sip of her wine, and then paused before stting it down. She pointed the glass over to Cello, insisting her to take a sip. "Much less trivious than having to lick," She said with the tiniest of smiles, looking up at the moon, and her eyes drifting back to her eyes. They really were her loveliest asset. So deep, but so particular about the emotions they were showing. In a way, Perounelle could almost say Cello was perfectly made. Her porcelain skin looked that of a dolls, and everything about her seemed so fragile, reflective, along with a sense obscurity. Like thin, thin glass.

The demon queen pulled her lips back in a smile, exposing her slightly sharpened teeth. Of course the manner was all but vicious, it being a rather pleasant thing. She watched the other Queen carefully, like examining an ornate pattern on a quilt. Her eyes following the simplest of movements like they were gallant strides. Cello couldn't help herself but to like the woman, with her just the shade of green eyes and their little pools of black. Her emotions were very smooth, like the surface of a pond without ripples. This left Cello at ease, she could feel herself almost sinking into that water, feel it gently covering her skin with little to no resistance. It was nice, to meet someone like Perounelle. Not to mention she was really quite pretty, with her smooth jawline and high cheekbones. She could feel the strength resonating from this, most likely, very able Queen.

Cello took the glass in her hands, each movement put into action with care. Her nails tapping against the smooth glass with little clinks, almost sounding like a miniature bell. She pressed the rim to her lips, lifting it slightly to take a small sip; closing her eyes for a few seconds to let the taste sink in. It was sweet, leaving a tingling feeling on her tongue. The aftertaste was a light bitterness, with a tinge of cherry. It was perfect for a night like this, with the small talk of two Queens, very opposites, with even more opposite kingdoms. Cello gave the lovely Perounelle her glass back, the light touch of their fingers crossing enough to remind her that she was next to an Angel. A literal, Angel. Although there weren't many angels like Perounelle, there was definitely a kind. Strong, battle worthy angels with talents above most demons. The kind with hearts made half out of loyalty, and the other half passion. Yes, the queen of Solaria, was most definitely a worthy one.

Trying her best to stop herself from falling under Perounelle's skin, Cello spoke again, her voice a rich soprano, like a drop of dark chocolate. "A night of reminiscence... I have to say you captured it perfectly." She said, Cello's pixie-like smile returning again. Cello leaned on the Queen subconsciously, once again sinking into the woman's calm demeanor.

When she noticed Perounelle glancing up at the moon, she couldn't help but do so too. It's gentle moonlight glazing their skin almost like a mist. Cello felt happy here, beside Perounelle, the moon looking down at them.

Cello glanced into Perounelle's eyes and instantly smiled. They themselves were a reflection of her emotions. Like pools of green with wandering drops of olive, all swirling into orbs of black. They were simply very deep, still waters. Ones that Cello was going to drown in IF SHE DIDN'T BLOODY CATCH HERSELF. Cello blinked at that small interruption, her eyes turning back up at the moon. The faintest bit of laughter echoed in her ears, followed a very small, light voice floating by. 'Cello and Perounelle sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G, first comes love---' Cello's eyes widened slightly, a light, pink-tinged flush coming to her cheeks. For a moment, her tranquility was completely disrupted, sending her thoughts into a non-identified frenzy, and her balance was completely lost. That being so, she panicked, having lost her train of thoughts for a single moment, was enough to make her body fall backwards, like something had pushed her. Usually the Queen would've caught herself, but this time she just fell. That of course, could be thanked by her falling into someone's feelings.

Her light blush was immediately hidden by her demon's instincts kicking in. Her back had hit first, and her kimono had been caught halfway through the fall, tugging down her sleeves a bit more than was appropriate, exposing her rather, well endowed chest. Cello pulled her kimono back into place calmly, giving a very rare sigh. The moon, being the moon, had basically given her the moon, or well, for the first time a very long while, it had teased her. Made fun. Cello wasn't busy making sure her kimono wouldn't come undone again, she would've been shaking her slender fist in the air.

Unfortunately, there was no real way to just tease the moon. Well, at least there wasn't really a reason. One time, when she younger, she'd made a joke about a cow jumping over the moon. Then, the moon had simply rolled it's hypothetical eyes and said nothing, but later, much later, it had refused to give her cloak of midnight, and resulted in a rather nasty wound across her stomach. So yeah, Cello really couldn't curse at anything. She looked back up at the other Queen. "I apologize for the disruption..." She murmured with a friendly, apologetic smile.

Perounelle's mind was reeling, her senses all clouded from the sheer scent and presence of this woman. It wasn't bad - not at all.....But she was intoxicating. Even the finest of wine couldn't compare to Cello. It was simply perfect. She was simply perfect. No other way to say it, but bluntly. Cello's mystery intrigued Perounelle to an extent, and filled her with almost a sense of envy. It was all in good will, but she was envious, nonetheless. The thing about Cello was that she could've been oblivious to her exquisiteness. It seemed almost impossible that the woman didn't know how beautiful she was, but was also, in a way, quite possible. Her smile made Perounelle want to grin, and just be silly. The woman made her feel childish. A feeling she hadn't felt in a very, very long time. Made her feel youthful, and made her feel beautiful, elegant. Of course, she paled in comparison to this woman....But that was quite alright. Perounelle didn't really want to do anything to obscure this woman's perfection.

The queen of Solaria's head turned calmly to watch Cello sip at her wine, glad she agreed to do so. A sense of trust was already established between the polar opposites. It didn't need to be said. It was there, all the same. Perounelle nodded in appreciation as Cello gave her her glass back, the queen setting it to her side to sip at in a few moments. As their fingertips brushed against one another, a small chill was sent up Perounelle's spine from the soft, chilling touch that came from it. It didn't affect her as much as she wanted it to, and yet she was still blissfully unaware of how this was affecting the latter. But she supposed she didn't mind that, either.

Perounelle hadn't met many demons in her time, but she certainly knew what they were capable of. Most demons had their own special way to them, their own distinctive personality that was theirs, and unmistakable. Cello was no exception. She was toxic, and Perounelle wanted to burn every last part of this woman into her mind, so when she saw another demon, Cello's face would be the only thing she wanted, the only thing she could see. Cello was lovely. She wanted to be friends with this woman. She was comfortable around her. The woman didn't bother on her quiet sense of manliness like others did. She didn't talk about nonsense. They were queens, queens who shared nothing but the love of calm, tranquility of life, and everything revolving around it. That's all they needed in common. Words didn't need to be said. Around them was simply an air of complete neutrality. It was, in every sense, perfect. A force not to reckoned with.

Perounelle's eyebrows raised, amused at Cello's words to her about her night of reminiscence. Her eyes softened, and she let out a small, calm hum as an answer. She then said, "Thank you." With her soft words, she pursed her lips, and at Cello, her eyes almost gleaming in this humble moonlight. Why the moon chose to make both of these women eternally lovely at the right moment, she didn't know, but she didn't mind it. Perounelle felt the urge to smile back at Cello's perfect smile, so, she did. But not before she gave Cello another chance to smile. "I'd say I was nearly there, alone, at least. Your company made this night better than I could have ever made it, better that it could have ever been on its own, queen." Perounelle leaned in slightly to Cello's close proximity. She couldn't help it. The woman was a magnet. And you know what they say - Opposites attract.

Or maybe Perounelle was simply looking for some excuse to get closer to the addicting woman. Either way - they both didn't seem to mind one bit.

Perounelle looked away from Cello, looking back up at the moon, the tiniest of smiles still on her face. She couldn't help it. This was quite nice. Their eyes locked for a moment, and Perounelle's breathe once again caught in her breathe. Those large, gorgeous orbs met hers, and she fell into them. Unconsciously falling deeper, and deeper into Cello's hold of her. Perounelle wanted to be pushed deeper, and deeper, wanted to be enveloped by those eyes, by her everything. Not to have the woman's perfection be a part of her, and not even to be a part of the woman. She wanted to be closer to the woman, simply because. Simply because she was Cello. Because she had that thing about her. Something so lovely, so perfect...Perounelle didn't want a word for it. She didn't need one.

It was Cello.
And It was marvelous.

The moment didn't break one bit as Perounelle saw a light tint come to Cello's pearly white cheeks. She only blinked slightly in surprise, and watched her slightly fall back, wishing deep down she could pull the woman by her kimono front and bring her close, to drown in her. Perounelle could almost hear the moon's smug a** grin peering down at them. Its light resting on the women's shoulders, coaxing more trust, more, more, more, that was simply impossible to get. Impossible to get, because....They were already intertwined with each other. Secretly, both of their hearts were in resonance, already. Waiting for more exposure, until they could bloom. Waiting for one to bloom into a wondrous, bipolar rose, and the other, waiting patiently to bloom into a buttercup. Isolated, but never truly alone, completely fine with a bipolar rose towering over it in the best way possible. Completely fine sharing roots, sharing light. Sharing trust that did not have to be exchanged by words. The wind carried all of their words along, to others who needed them.

Perounelle's surprise faded with the Queen's tumble down, letting out a nearly silent, tiny, tiny giggle. Her smile was thin, barely visible, but there. "Don't fret it," Perounelle said simply to the queen's apology, as they both found their rightful places next to each other. She picked up her wine, and took a casual sip, before she pulled back, looking down at the glass. "Indirect kiss..." She mumbled quietly under her breath, before she blinked, licking her lips of the sweetly bitter taste, and taking another sip, setting the glass down, quite calm, butterflies in her stomach from the tiny act. Perounelle let out another quiet hum, and then, laced her fingers together, eyelashes low, cogitating quietly to herself, before she finally said, "Tea. Mint - I recall?" She chuckled lowly to herself, looking into the queen's eyes with a sense of kindness, and casualness.

Cello blinked, her deep red eyes closing for a moment; hidden under thick lashes. She smiled, giving a nod. "You're right, Peronelle..." She said, caressing Perounelle's name ever so slightly. Cello had been having mint tea right before this, she could still remember the warm, minty liquid sliding down her throat before she realized that the moon hadn't been beside her. The night had been in the usual cycle of drinking tea and listening to the Moon ramble, but after a few moments, she'd realized, she could hear it no more. No more of the gentle whisper, and occasional laugh. So she'd left her humble shrine to walk out into the darkness, guided by the moonlight, and it had guided her here.

The queen removed a hidden pocket watch from her kimono, it's silver edges ever so slightly dented from ware. She'd had it a long time, and you could tell this just by the way she held it in her hands. She flipped it open with one of her pale fingers, checking the time. "It's three." She said, meaning, Three a.m. to be exact. Though she had checked the time, it had been to simply keep herself from falling back into Perounelle again, slightly frightened by how easily she'd sunk in. Yet she missed it terribly, as though seconds had been years. She most definitely knew, leaving Perounelle tonight would be a fret. Like a flower without water, she'd wilt to the ground and die... Cello knew she was overreacting, but she couldn't help it.

To her joy, and slight paranoia, Cello had no idea what time Perounelle would choose to leave. Surely she had things to do, she was the commander of her army a long with being the Queen. While Cello, was a shrine maiden, and also the Queen, and both were sort of part time. Cello had easily fallen in step with her life, having been in it so long. She wondered how the Queen looked in the sun, how she commanded her soldiers and how she acted as Queen. Silently Cello grew jealous of these people who got to see the lovely Perounelle at all of these times, who got to be beside her. Despite her somber mood on the inside, on the outside, Cello remained in her calm, peaceful state, her eyes clear with the red smoke that seemed to run through them. She had no where she had to be, for her station as Queen would not be continued until the next week, which she was most grateful for. The demon definitely needed a little time to herself. Perhaps she was getting rusty at control? Or maybe it was because she hadn't been graced with such a presence in a while. The Queen with pure white skin and deep red eyes, would have to figure it out eventually.

Perounelle smiled very, very slightly at getting the drink right. It was a small shot, but when she sipped the wine, all the sudden she was hit with this smoky, wonderful mintiness that had to be none other than tea. She liked it. It wasn't often Perounelle drank tea in the first place, but to be with Cello, to share anything in common with this beautiful woman - Perounelle would happily oblige. What she would give to share a palace with this woman....To see her every morning, share wine with her each and every night? It would be nothing short of lovely, of course. Just the sound of it caused butterflies to plan a mass attack on Perounelle's vulnerable tummy. In more ways than one - Cello made Perounelle feel like she was truly, an angel.

Perounelle's eyes drifted from the moon to the lunar flowers, watching the breeze carry petals into the wind, the moon choosing their path. Her eyes were averted from the flowers to the pocket watch in Cello's perfect hands. She was checking the time. It made Perounelle want to wince. Time. Why was it there? It wanted to tear them apart. And soon, it would have to.
They were both queens. They had duties, and Perounelle was more than someone had noticed her missing.

Wiith these thoughts, Perounelle mentally took a deep breathe in, and calmed her racing thoughts. Yes, she wanted to spend more time with Cello. She didn't ever want to leave....But she didn't have to leave any time soon. And Perounelle was now going to savour every last second with this woman until they had to part.
And pray, pray to the moon that it would lead Cello back to her, just as she suspected the moon had lead Cello here. She could hope that the unspoken words the wind carried would travel back to Cello, and remind her of Perounelle. And vise versa.

"Cello....Would you do me a favor?" Perounelle said softly, turning over to the queen of Lunaria, her eyes filled with mirth, face casual. "Keep me company until the sunrise. Until the sun must beg me to return to the kingdom." Perounelle paused, and looked over at her wine glass. "I really - should have brought the bottle..." The queen said with a lighthearted chuckle, tucking a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear, eyes resting on Cello gently. Perounelle hoped Cello actually liked her company. Judging by the way Cello could break down Perounelle's walls so easily, Perounelle guessed she probably also had various keys to unlock her deepest desires.

Perounelle was almost positive the moon had given her these keys, or that those eyes....Those wonderful, gorgeous eyes had found them the minute they laid eyes on Perounelle. They certainly, without a doubt were capable of doing so. Perounelle only wished she could do the same for Cello. Whatever keys Cello had for her; Cello's eyes were teasing Perounelle with them.

Perounelle didn't mind. She loved mystery, and she knew for a fact she loved Cello's eyes as well.
She would bare with stepping over Cello's walls by herself, and she would bare it only because Cello was Cello. And less, and any more, Perounelle wouldn't have even tried.
But it was Cello.

Was this woman purposely doing this? Dragging out every pleasurable second to make it even harder on Cello to leave? To have her mood ripped apart so violently? But no matter, Cello knew that she would probably do whatever this lovely lady asked. The attachment to Perounelle was rising above her shoulders, and the water had a tinge of warmness. She felt like she'd been drinking, like she was drunk. Thank heavens she wasn't actually, goodness knows how she would've acted then. Cello nodded solemnly, her eyes tinged a somberness that was covered by the happiness in them.

Cello leaned her head gently upon Perounelle's shoulder, hoping she wouldn't mind. Beside, It was Perounelle's fault anyway, the warmness in her chest making her feel so light headed. In a way, Cello almost felt like she was floating out of her skin only be dragged back down by the very same thing that was causing her float up. It was so terribly annoying, yet so horribly enjoyable. She most certainly felt young, like a child running in a field. In her head, this sounded positively ridiculous, yet it was so true. Cello's eyes averted to the ground, slightly scared of meeting the Queen's again. Cello had never been a bad person, she was kind to those met, but at the same time she could never imagine herself doing so much good to deserve the ever so lovely Perounelle, her perfection to Cello was almost tangible. It was smooth and strong, like marble. Yet no statute would ever be able to compare to the sweetness of Perounelle.

The she demon bit down on her lip slightly, feeling intimidated by her own feelings. She hadn't really ever felt such raw connection with someone, such trust. Cello felt like she could spend hours speaking to this woman, despite how little had been exchanged. This was one angel she didn't mind being saved by... She closed her eyes, letting herself sink in a little deeper, but as soon as she did she stopped herself. Cello most definitely didn't want to poke into the woman's memories. Being so, she didn't need to, there was no point, she'd give Perounelle her trust no matter what had happened in the past.... Cello could only wish that they would never have leave.

Yet Cello could feel the the sun's presence becoming stronger, and although she had never had anything against, she wished that just this time it would take a little longer to rise. Any amount of time whether it be hours or second, each was worth beyond their weight in time. "Hnn..." She murmured, looking back up the pale face of Perounelle, the moonlight perfectly framing her green eyes. "How's life?" She asked in a quiet, sweet tone, almost as though she was afraid to break the silence. Nonetheless, Cello remained confident, never having once regretted words.

Perounelle had never felt more dominant in her years. She had been well aware for most of her life that she was quite like a man; but at this moment, she felt a strong sense of manliness. Love between two women was certainly uncommon, and Perounelle simply felt like having to take the initiative. To be the one two wrap her arms around Cello, to give her that first kiss, and embrace her. She wanted to, if it wasn't for the feelings confusing her in this very moment. The two queens had just met, and yet it felt as if they had known each other their entire lives. This fact rang in her head, the vibrations making her heart batter even faster in her chest.

What reason would Cello have to like Perounelle, anyway?

Perounelle couldn't name one attractive feature about herself...Her hair was certainly not that pretty, and she cut it often to not get in her way. Her eyes were stone cold, and her face...? Rugged, and always serious. What could Perounelle possibly offer to Cello? The thought made Perounelle want to laugh a bit coldly. This was probably one sided, as much as she hated to admit it. She would admit that she and Cello would be inseparable friends. The trust they shared would not be easily broken. But...Love? Perounelle had never felt this emotion before, but at this moment...She was ruefully aware of how it should feel. And Perounelle felt as if....Love, the dreaded thing was taking over her heart.

It made her body burn. It made her heart clench. It felt as if bonds were tightening around her heart, making her breathe become labored. And it hurt. Her back was burning....Her scars - for whatever reason...They felt as if someone had taken a knife and retraced them. Tears prickled at Perounelle's eyes with this pain. Why? She couldn't explain for the life of her....But her head was spinning.

She couldn't love Cello, what was wrong with her? This thought, as much as Perounelle wanted it to hurt her - To think that no, she was in fact capapble of loving another being....Her body seemed to go along with the horrid thought. She felt like....Like she didn't need to love another....Like she didn't want to. And it almost made Perounelle glad to know that Cello probably felt the same way. Felt that Perounelle would always be nothing but a close friend to her. This internal conflict that was currently booming in Perounelle's head finally came to a conclusion. All the feelings of love Perounelle was previously feeling...They left. It felt as if a weight had been lifted off of her shoulders. She felt normal, again. The pain stopped. The pain in her heart, in her chest, and in her back...It stopped abruptly. And all that was left then? Hollowness. The feeling, as foreign as it was, felt strangely familiar.

It bothered Perounelle how easy it was for her to let go, how easy it was for her to discard such feelings...But one thought just kept ringing in her head.

Don't make that same mistake.

Perounelle inhaled sharply as sudden voices echoed in her head, right as Cello had leaned her head on Perounelle's shoulder. She supposed it was for the best. Deep down she hoped Cello thought that Perounelle was uncomfortable with it....Even though she wasn't.
The thought hurt Perounelle.

And just as the feelings of dread began to overcome her once more, Cello, in her own special way about her, seemed to make those feelings flee Perounelle, with a simple question. It made Perounelle frustrated, how simple words from this woman could affect her so dramatically, but she had to remember, friends were all they would, and could be.

Cello was asking her a simple question, and she sounded as if she actually cared to know about Perounelle's answer. Of course, Perounelle knew Cello didn't care to know her answer as much as she would like Cello to. Because deep, deep down inside of her heart, despite all of the things Perounelle told herself, she wanted that. But it was impossible. The pain, the enigmatic pain; it would not allow it.

"Living. Tiring. Busy." Perounelle answered briefly, her voice wavering for whatever reason. She completly ignored it, the vibe not changing one bit. Perounelle was still her normal calm, cool collected self, despite the internal battle that was still putting her under so much grief.
"A little better....Now that you're here, my friend." Perounelle almost regretted those last words, but she didn't dare show it. "Yourself."
