Shop Improvement Suggestion and Idea Thread Got an idea for an event, or a policy change that could help the shop out? Please suggest it here! We'd love to hear it! Please be polite to each other, however.

an OOC or plotting forum, or a place where we can just store caretaker profiles/journals if we so chose (if say we only wanted one caretaker who has/is involved with multiple manifests) And possibly the potential for caretaker art?

If I may refine or add to the ooc/plotting subforum suggestion/idea?
I would rather the subforum be more of a 'Looking for RP Classifieds' section.
1 Thread per person (with an option to start a new one if you ask Dgcakes or whoever is in charge).
In these threads you keep track of each manifest you have and their plots.
IE: Introductory post. Then a post per character + whatever plot bunnies you have for them.
Or whatever have you. I know Deeg has a 'blind date' situation set up and no one really bit on that yet, but yes.
It is a pretty solid idea and works in a lot of places. (SoA and so on)

It's what's worked on various forums I've roleplayed on in the past really well. Maybe have a thread tracking subforum as well? A place where you could have a post where you show every thread you're in? Unless that already exists, in that case, never mind. redface

DraconicFeline an OOC or plotting forum, or a place where we can just store caretaker profiles/journals if we so chose (if say we only wanted one caretaker who has/is involved with multiple manifests) And possibly the potential for caretaker art? I like the ooc plotting forum idea. I shall make one. Caretaker profiles can just be put in a straight up journal for a manifest. You can just leave the parts you'd put the manifest in blank and just do your rps like normal till the kid arrives. Gives you a good solo or journal entry to do with them for when the kid arrives. You may also even start up an ic business for them in the world thread. You can also just do one big journal if you want the same guardian to have multiple manifests or you can create the separate journals and copy the profile over when you get more characters. And yes there already is. Caretaker art may not be official but there are point methods to get it. Stuff like the just for fun art. :3 It'll be priced better soon.

I'll be making that shortly. Could you please explain what you mean for the post to show every thread you're in? Like do you mean ooc or an ic post where you have like a list of all your current active roleplays?

An ooc thread or post where you can keep track of your current active roleplays, and your past roleplays. So you could have a note next to each of the active ones saying what the expected rp speed was, or how long it's taking, if it's on hiatus, ect.

Most people use a post on their front page for it. The front page is usually ooc. Here are some example journals with front pages and then posts with the logging too, since it can be done various ways: fancier setup: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=23812247really simple setup: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=23808359#353632981a composite journal for people like Drac who want to just use one guardian: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=23804475

I would love some more information on the area where everyone is (more than what's already written), though I figure you're already working on that. Maybe a map or something would be useful as well. Though a map might be a bit limiting, depending on how it's done. How about a list of things that you -wouldn't- find in the area?

I'll be exapnding on that soon, don't worry. I'm a TERRIBLE map maker so it's taking a bit longer What may help you is that it's pretty much a very plain town. You're more likely to find average stores - say a general store, a candy shop, a hardware store, a bakery that sells donuts, than saaaaaaay something more specific like a tea shop? But those can be added by players cause it's an ever expanding world. I will try to have up some threads on the subject and whatnot soon enough.
