Snakes? He was alright with them. Normal to slightly large, sure. Freakishly large? Uh, no thanks.
But he could deal. Sort of? Uh. The battle side of this world was still kind of new to him, but he was a quick study. Or liked to think he was, and usually it held true. Usually. Kiin eyed the reptile warily, a hand on the rim of his hat.
Staring it down probably didn't do anything more than provoke it, though he was able to parry for a time, blow for blow. It still managed to get a good hit on him, though, when he moved to swing and wound up missing, tripping rather inopportunely over a twig -- a twig -- and rolling into a nearby tree with a loud thud.
He groaned.

As annoying as it was to get separated from Envy, he wasn't too against fighting another snake. Especially since there was another boil already going against it. And taking a few hits. Grinning, the Mad Hatter jumped on into the fray, managing to wriggle himself in between the other male and the snake. Getting himself a good chomp from the snake in the process, but hey. "Hope you don't mind me cutting in," he grinned, casting a quick little magic to heal the other boil (3 hp). "These things are kinda vicious."

Lean and lengthy, Partridge_in_a_Skulltree is a young man with blue-white hair shaved along the right side of his head, with the rest of his hair left to flop to the left. Blue-rimmed glasses sit at the end of his nose, the same pale blue as his eyes. A Mad Hatter to the end, his trademark coat and hat are both a dark blue. Underneath can be seen a tight white shirt, loose black pants, and crisscrossing brown belts.
He kept silent as another player hopped into the fray, wincing a little at the sight of him taking a hit. Was that what it looked like when he was the one on the wrong end of one of the snake's attacks? Hm.
He acknowledged the help with only the slightest of nods, returning the favor and healing him (2HP) before readying his own defenses and charging the snake.
