Fairy Tail's headquarters reside in an imposing building consisting of four floors and incorporating several architectonic styles: it took on a shape reminiscent of a large castle, with each floor being smaller than the one below it and sitting on the latter's roof. It's surrounded by stone walls topped with railings, which ended on the front in the building's own entrance, flanked some meters away by a pair of modest light flags secured to the walls, and had two smaller, detached buildings at its sides, connected to the central one by suspended stone bridges complete with railings. Such secondary buildings possessed an elongated facade facing the main building and shorter sides, their pitched roofs were composed of tiles, and they sported several simple, square windows, appearing as nothing more than holes in the walls, and more elaborated, larger and arched ones. The main building, built of stone and linked to the two minor buildings by the suspended bridges, had another, central and arched bridge adorned by battlements, connecting a pair of large, square pillar-like structures placed in front of it, and seemed to take the form of a massive tower. At the top of this tower proudly flies the flag with Dragon Dreams' symbol on it. The front part of the top floor houses a large banner with the guild's insignia on it, while two smaller banners placed at its sides, some meters away from it, bear, respectively, the Magic Council's emblem and an unknown symbol. The top floor seems to be the most bare, while the middle one's front walls are intricately decorated and sport a pair of ornamental windows.
The Floors
The ground floor's roof bears a highly decorative balustrade on its top, and the floor itself possesses many small windows lined up its front walls, together with wood reinforcements, while its edges bear large, rectangular wood beams. Surrounding the headquarters is a fence composed of stone overtopped by decorated railing, with some pillars over-topped by torches on its length and an open gate giving access to the guild, this possessing an upper part covered in tiles, with railing below it, bearing resemblance to an open portcullis, plus a large sign bearing the guild's name, with ornated decorations above it, including a pair of detailed statues of fairies, each wearing a dress and possessing a pair of wings and elongated ears sitting on their heads. In front of the building, inside the fence, is the so-called "open air cafe", containing a little over two dozen tables, each complete with a pair of benches at its sides, and with some of them bearing striped beach umbrellas.
The guild's most distinctive feature, however, was the entrance: acting as both the door to the main building and the seemingly only way to get past the walls, it consisted of a cylindrical structure topped by a complicated series of small, pitched tiled roofs pointing in several directions, piled up one on the other: right above the cylindrical part were three of such roofs, one pointing frontally like the structure itself, and the other two jutting out respectively to the left and to the right; above those were two more roofs yet again pointing outwards, topped by the last, single and more imposing roof, facing frontwards and seemingly being adorned by a clock, or a rose window.
Above the entrance, in strange and enticing letters is the name "Fairy Tail". Magic is used on this to make it change color throughout the course of the day, to make it seem more interesting and less boring. All in all, the whole building seems to be a very bright and happy place, inviting any that approach to come in.
The Floors
The first floor is the main entrance area, lined with many long tables all placed horizontally, with chairs to accommodate. To the left is a very long and large bar, with drinks from all over Fiore. To the right is a large stage, which is usually used for controlled fights, or performances. Just to the left of the entrance door is the one of the two mission boards. Since this one is usually always filled, there is another behind the bar, to place jobs. Just straight ahead when entering is a throne, which the Guildmaster sits upon when not busy.
The second floor is open to everyone, and is more of a lounge than anything. To to get to the second floor, you must take one of four flights of stairs. There are two to the left, on either side of the bar. And two on the right, on either side of the stage. The second floor has everything the first floor doesn't. Two large couches to sit or lay on, small windows to look around outside, a small fountain for the smaller guild members to play in, and smaller tables to sit at with chairs, if the couches aren't your style. The couches are placed up against the walls between the stairs, since the room isn't as big as the lower floor. It also contains a pool table, dart boards, video games, and other means of entertainment. In a corner there are several barrels, and attached to a wall is a noticeboard complete with some notices, with more, scattered notices adorning the wall itself.
The third floor is open only to S-Rank Members. This floor is small and almost empty, except for the mission board and what seems to be a sort of meeting table, with comfortable chairs around it. There are velvet red curtains on either side of the mission board, to make it seem nicer in here. The entrance to this floor is always locked, and only S-Class Members and the Guild Master have keys for entry.
The fourth floor is open to everyone, with stairs leading upwards that aren't guarded. They circle around the third floor, which no one can see in. There is a window along the stairs which lead upward. This room is much nicer than the third floor, looking like a fancy entertainment area. There are small three-seater couches located on both far sides of the room, with a table in the middle for members to sit at. There's also a balcony which leads out, for those that want some fresh air. The windows here are also larger.
There is a second part to the fourth floor, which many count as a fifth floor. It is nothing more than the Guildmaster's office. (More to be added soon.)
