Lukhan's Landing isn't all militar or religion dedicated, there are some places out there where a person can have some cultured fun. The Opera House is one of those locations. It is on a cliff edge overlooking the sea. The building is very elaborate and very fancy, built to have a very acoustic feel to it. On the inside there is a very opulent set up. There are tapestries, paintings, sculptures, and all sorts of beautiful creations. The Opera House boasts multiple floors for VIP seating and a stage set high above the ground floors. There are fountains that pour wine in place of a bar.

Akeem angled an eyebrow in confusion at Mina's statement. He scoffed out of incredulity and quickly shot a look to Kevan and Russel. The draconian shrugged his great shoulders and the human didn't even bother to meet his gaze. "The Opera? Really?" The Djinn said with disbelief. His team of hunters sat around a table, each digging into a meal he had paid for. It had been a good month since their last successful hunt, and in that one they had acquired a page. In the middle of the night Akeem had received a message from a boy. It had been from Mina, requesting a meeting for another job. In his opinion his team was very evenly stacked for victory. The group leader, Akeem himself, was one of the main fighters. He took the brunt of the focus off of the others and fought alongside their tank. Kevan was a draconian, big and sturdy. With his shield and longsword never far from reach he was capable fo taking most of the attacks and dishing out enough to keep them busy. Doral Kyne was the wild card, switching from overplayed hero and one hell of a distraction. The Mer had a way with taunting people and making them want to stick a knife through him. Russel was the man with the machines, providing the others with all the utility they needed. Mina was the resident healer and supporter. It was a well rounded setup and the gang had yet to fail. "Yes, well, not for the Opera itself." Mina's voice brought Akeem back to attention. He dipped her head at her to get her to keep going. The shy elf developed a shade of red over her cheeks and nose and lowered her eyes to her placemat. "Through my network of contacts I've been introduced to a siren, Elysa Corona" Russel choked on his beer and nearly snorted it out his nose. Kevan grimaced and scooted his chair away from the human before slapping him on the back. "Elysa Corona is in town? The Elysa Corona?" Akeem shot a look at Kevan and Mina before staring at Russel. Everyone was very quiet as they waited for an explanation. The human realized that his sudden burst of enthusiasm was very out of character. He scratched at his beard and shrugged his shoulders, letting Mina continue. "She believes she is in possession of a page. The drop is here, and tonight."
And what an event it was shaping up to be. Akeem absolutely hated suits, they restricted his movements. He stood uncomfortably outside of the ticket booth as he waited for Mina to show up. The Djinn had chosen vestaments best fitting an actual noble, since he was sitting on whether or not to become a king. So he was wearing a coat with actual coattails, cufflinks, and the works. From where Mina was standing he was damn fine. The elf paused and stared at him from across the street, taking in his tall stature and the way he held himself. Akeem was a warrior first and a gentleman a close second. "You look...lovely." Akeem said to Mina. How had he managed to get across the street so swiftly. Mina squeeked and took a step back. Before she could stumble Akeem's strong hand touched her back, holding her steady. Mina chose not to stare at the Djinn and instead quickly righted herself. She fixed her sleek black dress and looked to Akeem for orders. He held out his arm and waited for her to loop hers through. Together the duo purchaseed tickets right in the front of the place; Akeem's high status in Aramil helped with that. They walked inside and took in the whole scene. Mina did so with an eye of wonder. Akeem observed the place from the standpoint of a thief. He needed to find all the exits, all the vantage points and everything else. It was a habit of his, honed from years and years of combat experience. The room would be quite hectic when more and more people started pouring in, which they surely would for such a grand star making an appearance. The way Russel made it sound was as if she was the most talented and sought after individual on this planet. There would probably be a number of VIPs in the room, which would only make this job more difficult if they were met with resistance. So far none of the page gathering missions had gone over smoothly. Akeem was hopeful but not stupid. He was prepared for the worst. So while Mina and himself were making their way down the aisle to the front row seats Russel was in place above the stage. He was posing as a crew member and was tasked with working the curtains. Kevan would be on the balcony keeping a very close watch on any suspicious activities and persons. Doral would be stationed outside of the Opera House. It's location on the edge of the cliff made it an easy target to offshore attacks, and the Mer was the perfect choice for defending against any water-based assaults.
Mina tugged lightly on Akeem's arm, refocusing him and bringing back to attention. The show was about to be starting soon and the people were filing in to find their seats. The elven woman led the Djinn, who was busy continuously looking around, to their seats in the front row. They had sought out tickets that would place them right in front of Miss Corona, so that they could easily intercept any trouble that may find its way to her. As the pseudo-couple sat down a static buzzed in each of their ears. Akeem grimaced but made no motion to stop it. Mina scrunched up her nose when the high pitched whine happened, but it all ended almost as abruptly as it started. What replaced it was Russel's voice. "Checking shortwave radio statuses, go for Russel." This was the next step in plan. First the positions and then the communications. The human had devised a method for them to remain in contact while still being discreet. These little buds were all connected via energy supplied by Mina, the resident mage and cleric. Through those invisible arrays of energy they could hear each other when one spoke. "Go for Akeem, and Mina." The Djinn said under his breath. They needed to remain incognito, stay under the radar so the element of surprise would be on their side in case things went sideways. Doral chimed in from where he was outside, but there was no answer from Kevan. They all waited a moment and even prompted the Draconian to respond, but there was only silence. Akeem cursed under his breath and tried his best to casually rise to his feet without gathering attention to himself. He motioned for Mina to stay put and went on his way out the main doors and back into the lobby. Just as he left, the show began.
Russel pulled back on the rope, hand over hand to move the curtain. The crowd instantly broke out in clapping when Elysa was revealed. Through the connection with Mina, Akeem heard her voice as clear as day. He could see why Russel loved her so much. The woman sounded like heaven, and daylight, sunshine and rain, all the things that brought beauty to the world. The Djinn moved up the set of stairs to the balcony seating as he enjoyed what he was hearing, still in search of Kevan. He silently opened the door to the section the draconian was supposed to be in and instantly knew something was wrong. Akeem bent down and picked up a small bud, the exact match to the one he was wearing in his ear. "Something's wrong, I can't find Kevan, but I found his receiver." Akeem said, pocketing the piece and moving forward again. A few people turned to look at him but no one said a isngle thing. Walking with confidence gave people the idea that you knew what you were doing and you were allowed to be doing it. "Wait, he's got a gun!" Russel shouted before the line went dead. The Djinn sprang into action and rushed to the balcony in time to see Mina climbing on stage. The curtain parted and revealed a man walking through, a gun pointed at the famous singer. Hundreds of gasps and screams of panic made focusing difficult. Akeem watched in what felt like intense slowness as Mina darted towards Elysa. The woman, clearly confused, turned and brought a hand to her mouth, recoiling from the sight of the weapon. Akeem didn't think much after that, instead he acted. He used his force to launch himself forward and hit the stage hard enough to crack it. With one more use of the force he pushed off of the ground and shot like a bullet. The man pulled the trigger Akeem braced himself.
Mina gasped when Akeem's arms wrapped around her. How in the world had he gotten there so fast? One second he was on the second level, parted by almost a sea of people and the next he was taking a bullet for her. She felt his body jerk at the impact, again and again and again. Mina knew that Kevan had showed up, a trail of blood falling down from his head. Maybe he had been bludgeoned and knocked unconscious.That would explain why he had been missing. The draconian wrestled the gun away from the assailant, though Russel was the one who clocked the guy so hard he fell to the ground unmoving. Mina looked up at Akeem, eyes full of worry. He was leaning a little heavy on her and she could feel the blood cascading down his back in rivulets. "Are you okay?" The djinn asked with evident concern. Mina shook her head yes and he released her, stepping to the side and moving over to the opera singer. Russel had rushed over and together they shielded the woman from any further assaults and made it outside. When everything had settled down the group, minus Doral who remained in the water, sat around Elysa's dressing room. Mina was busy tending to Akeem, pulling out bullets and patching him up as they waited for her to open the chest she had brought with her and reveal the pages. "I do hope this is what you were looking for.".

Skills used this post:Sophia walks into the backstage area of the Opera House. She sighs softly and closes her eyes. "You owe me for this, Saleria..." She and Saleria had decided to split up for the time being due to some Mer creating inner conflict around the city, trying to force conversion among the populace to the side of Kaminae. She and Saleria agreed that Saleria would go and physically put down the Mer who were causing problems while Sophia would go perform at the Opera House so as to put down the idea of joining Kaminae. In short, she had to go slander a god's name. She changes outfits quickly, getting into a more elegant dress, as opposed to a bloodstained soldier's uniform, and walks out onto the stage, looking at the assembled people. Okay...so my job now depends on whether or not I can make an impression by singing to people, using a song that I'm making up as I go...I think I preferred fighting the Orc Giant... She takes a deep breath and begins singing: How great is Kaminae, the beautiful curse of the sea,
who found the Gate of Hell, and wishes to sacrifice you and me.
Her servants live to praise her, and die doing the same,
for to the Gates she gives them, the source of her fame.
Seduced by Hellfire, she long has fallen from grace,
and relies on the blood of others to keep a pretty face.
Beware, I say, to those who follow and praise her,
for those that do will oft meet their end, on the damned ocean floor.After she finished that song and a few other songs, all of which she made up on the spot, she bows and exits the stage, collapsing in a chair. "That...was easily more stressful even than Dathan..." She sighs. "Now to wait for word from Saleria..."

 Saleria The Flame Typhoon ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ Saleria entered the Opera House from the main entrance as people left complimenting Sophia's singing voice. She headed in and soon began to walk up the steps and smiled at her as she got close to her. A spear could be seen lodged in her right arm, the spear head already through but some of the handle, and a busted point, still in and out on the front side. "How'd it go?" Skills used: Weapon: Steel Hand Ax + Gargoyle Stone Halberd Ax Energy: 230/550 Strength: 10 Speed: 5 ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ "Don't underestimate me!"

It appeared to be heavily damaged and Saleria was currently just enduring the pain as she smiled at Sophia. "It'd be nice to have something to eat. Just get the spear out and remove the spear blade from it." She said nervously as it was beginning to hurt like hell. Skills used this post:Sophia nods and takes hold of the spear with her right hand, putting her other hand on Saleria's arm. "This is going to hurt. A lot." She pulls on the spear forcefully, and it begins to slide out. "That's really stuck in there. After a few minutes, she finally finishes the task. She tosses the spear aside, then takes her shirt and begins wrapping it around the wound, doing her best to help stem the flow of blood. "Alright, you had the harder time...I'll pay for dinner." She chuckles.

Saleria The Flame Typhoon ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ Saleria winced from the pain before she grapped the tossed away spear off of the floor. "It'll be nice to have something to eat again." She told Sophia as she broke the spear head off of the broken stick. When she began to wrap a piece of cloth around her arm so her gasoline like blood wouldn't ooze out.... just soak the cloth. She soon held the stick up to her mouth and started to eat it quickly, murring in delight as she continued to eat more of the stick before walking to Sophia.
