At this point, Roxas was just irritated with this woman and insulted. Now she was questioning his medical training? He barely even heard Axel protest him talking anymore before he snapped a little at the nurse.
"Not all teens are imbeciles like you seem to think we are, Ma'am. I've had extensive medical training. Yes, I saw all of his injuries with my eyes. Yes, I gauged that his head needed bandaging rather than his side. Hell, I even noticed that he had gotten a scratch on the back of his left hand and top of his right foot," he said sternly, eyes turning dark as he gestured to Axel's limbs respectively, eyes not leaving the somewhat startled nurse's face.
"I ripped up my favorite tee shirt to bandage him up as I thought necessary. No, he couldn't walk afterwards because he was in pain. We basically dragged him to the car. And if you're the medical professional that you were hired to be, you should know that the second day after an injury such as his is worse than the first, because the adrenaline is gone, and the body has had time to try and repair itself, rendering the person sustaining the wounds sore and bruised, joints surrounding the area temperamental. Now, if you're done questioning my competence as a trained and licensed medical person like yourself, I'd like to get back to my English class," he huffed in annoyance, a scowl set firmly on his face.
He hadn't looked away from the nurse's judging eyes throughout his whole speech, stubbornly sitting there with his arms crossed and for good reason. He could probably be a better nurse than this woman was pretending to be.
