Hobbies :

Archery - As a child, Iseul was trained in the arts of war and how to be the perfect soldier like her parents. She grew to be efficient in all forms of fighting with adequate skill in most weaponry, but above all, she favored the bow. There isn't a day that goes by that she does not take part in archery practice, going as far as starting and ending the day with target practice. Generally a modest girl, the exception comes when there is an archery contest and she takes pride in her skill. Her love for archery grew as her grandfather taught her how to make her own bows and fletch her own arrows, something she can be caught doing as a form of meditation.

Hunting - A by product of being an archer is that Iseul enjoys a good hunt. The thrill of using her skill to bring down a great beast for nourishment and other needs, brings nothing but pleasure to the young warrior. She also takes it as challenge to hone her archery and eye, trying to catch a moving target with a single clean shot that gives the quickest and most painless death. On the other hand, Iseul doesn't believe in taking excessively from the land nor in torturing animals. She has strict morals on not hunting young animals and being aware of the population of certain species, making sure that the herds, packs, and nests will be able to replenish their numbers.

Tae Kwon Do - Besides archery, her other passion is hand-to-hand combat specifically in the style of Tae Kwon Do. As a child, this was Iseul's most challenging sport. She could barely perform which drove her to concentrate and focus as much of her spare time as she could to practice. She demanded private lessons with her mother, a skilled martial artist, and begged her cousins to spar with her. Out of necessity to not fail, she grew to be an enthusiastic martial artist. After years and years, she has set the bar high in Tae Kwon Do yet she continues to practice and train as if she were still at the bottom of the barrel.

Poetry - Iseul isn't much of an intellectual, but her aunt and grandmother taught her that there is pride to be had in understanding the beauty of the world and how to express such blessings. It was also in an effort from her relatives that she display some feminine qualities that Iseul happened upon poetry. It was a near miss, as the women in her family thrown Iseul into a rigorous course on decorum and the so-called-female arts. It should be stated at this time that she failed in floral arrangement, embroidery, music, and dance. It was by happen chance that she discovered poetry. Her grandfather, having lost his sight, had called on her to read to him. He shared with her his favorite poets and philosophers, teaching her to read between the lines. After having memorized her grandfather's favorites, Iseul began to experiment on her own, sharing her attempts with her grandfather who listened attentively and gave kind advise on how to improve. To this day, Iseul continues to compose, but refuses to share her words with anyone beside her grandfather, even if that means that the words fall on the deaf ears of a grave.

Personality :

Introverted - Not to be confused for shyness, Iseul can come off as a quiet and solemn character. Given the opportunity to attend a party or to stay home, she will almost always opt to stay home as large gatherings aren't generally her idea of fun. She prefers to restrict her company to the few close friends she does have and maintains a bland polite acquaintance with those she must interact with. However, if you do surround her with friends and family, she comes alive and animated as she chatters on excitedly about archery and other favorite topics.

History : Iseul comes from an old family with a long history of serving the Emperor. Both her mother and father served in the Legion and she proudly took up the legacy as she accepted her great-great-grandfather's bow as her weapon of choice.
