Quote: During the Winter Solstice Celebration, a shrine is set up and coins are tossed in for wishes! Similar to asian tradition! They pray and ring the bell when they are done. Many get in line for this event, Even said that the Gods have blessed it! Your character has finally made it to the shrine after a long wait. After, do they stay in the crowded area where vendors, cooks, and dancers to join the celebration? Or do they find themselves alone?

Quote: During their night, a NPC male has come up to you, rather mid aged. "We all have desires, and wishes... but if you keep waiting for them to happen. They never will. It is good to be patient, it is another thing to be lazy. So if you want something. You have to go for it. Little flower."As he gives your character another flower to put in her hair, with a soft smile.

 R ire fixed the other flower next to the much larger one she already wore, she gave the kind older Ulaya a soft smile. "Thank you for the sage words." She bowed her head as she watched him melt away into the crowd.
She found herself following her nose, finding a food vendor that was selling the most delicious smelling dumplings, she ordered a few as she found herself starving.
Taking her snack, she found a little place off the busy path to sit and enjoy her treat, it seemed to be the place for couples and love, she could see it everywhere and it ate away at a place within her. She had recently thought she could have possibly found the one to share her all with, but after a taking that giant leap and sharing a night together, the other had disappeared into the shadows, leaving Rire to wonder if it all had been a dream.
She popped a dumpling into her mouth and groaned with pleasure, oh it was so good. She couldnt help but have another, she always seemed to be hungry these days, which was rare for Rire, she hardly ate much but now she scarfed down almost as much food as her father and uncle and in the oddest combos.
She rested a paw on the little budding belly she was starting to sport, with a sigh she continued to watch the couples, she envied them and what they had, what she wouldnt give to find someone to settle with, to find happiness and even possibly fill that ache her mother had left behind.
The older Ulaya's words echoed in her head, "We all have desires, and wishes... but if you keep waiting for them to happen. They never will. It is good to be patient, it is another thing to be lazy. So if you want something. You have to go for it. Little flower." Who was he? How did he know her family called her little flower? But those words, they echoed in her mind, he was right.
Here she was sitting around, waiting for love and happiness to find her and she was very capable to find both on her own, how could she find love if she had little happiness in her life, you could expect one without being in charge of the other. She shook her head with a soft laugh as she stuffed the last few dumplings into her mouth, oh they were so good.
Rising from the little notch she had taken for herself, she joined the crowd, laughing and enjoying the celebration, all the happy faces and good cheer around her seemed to fill any emptiness within her.
After spinning around and having a good jolly dance with some handsome faces, and a few pretty ones as well, Rire had little preference in those she partnered with, she loved and enjoyed freely, but now she was starving again and dying of thirst.
Finding a vendor that was offering sweet treats and coco, Rire found herself with ample amounts of both as the vendor commented on how she had that new mothers glow, Rire was in complete shock, had it all been real and not a dream?
She wandered until once more she found a secluded place to enjoy her treats, which once again were explosions of delicious delights in her mouth. Could she be pregnant? Could this explain her need to always eat, her rounded belly which she had just brushed off as eating to much and sleeping to late.
After she finished her treat, she didnt find herself joining the celebration again, her dark figure disappeared back into the shadows, she had to find her father, her uncle as well as her aunt...yes she needed to talk to her aunt first, Ami had, had a litter a couple months prior..she would have the answer to Rire's questions.
Before she disappeared back towards her family, she glanced back at the crowd enjoying the celebration, the older Ulaya's words stuck with her, she smiled and nodded. It was time to get off her lazy rump, and take the world into her own paws and find what her heart desired. WC 706
