Background Story
Koven was born to Genesis and Venice. When he was a baby, the gods of both the light and shadow realm deemed him worthy of a great power only granted to individuals who were perfectly balanced in all aspects. The power of Twilight. This power was a rare gift and Koven would grow up to attain god-like power with it. As a child, Koven to set out on a journey to conquer this power, and become the ultimate warrior. Bidding his father and mother farewell, he had set out into the world to experience new things. He met good people, people who thrived and survived by helping one another, and people who genuinely wished to care for one another.

One such individual he came across on his travels, was a boy named Indra. He was only 7 when he met the boy, and he grew up for a significant amount of time with him (4 years). He trained with Indra as Indra taught him kindness, compassion, and humor. Inside he felt a sort of emptiness, dreadfulness, a darkness in him growing, which was beginning to overpower him since he had not learned to control it. He forced himself to abandon his friend, leaving him only a letter, and a chain as a sign of their brotherhood.

Shortly after abandoning his brotherly friend, the gods decided to intervene in his travels. One day, a spiraling portal appeared before his eyes, and it dragged him into an endless abyss. After falling for what felt to be an eternity, he reached the ground and found himself in a realm of pure and utter darkness. He could not even see his own body. In this new realm, he was completely blind. Yet, a voice presented himself to him. a voice that named itself Bungabo spoke to him and told him that in this realm of darkness, he will learn to tame himself. He will see the evil in the world, and will learn to tame and slay evil itself. In this realm of complete darkness, he began to train for what seemed like decades upon decades. This realm existed in a dimension outside of normal time. It had only been 9 years in the real dimension.

Bungabo first taught him how to perceive in complete darkness and through this training, Koven's senses were trained beyond spectacular limits. He saw Bungabo as a physical shadow, and this is the form the god used to spar with Koven. Bungabo began teaching him the various martial arts that the god himself had claimed from the dead spirits of warriors he had reaped. Eventually, Koven didn't need the use of his eyes to see in the shadows. When Kovan begun to learn how to manipulate shadow matter, he could manipulate the shadow matter to allow him to see in the darkness. One day, he was able to perceive Bungabo's true form; a hideous and heinous creature. As the god of shadow and darkness, the true form of Bungabo was a sight only Twilight Walkers, like Koven, could bare to witness.

Eventually, Bungabo taught him how to do more with the shadow matter, such as shaping the matter, creating shadow forms, and making extra limbs and beasts. when this training was finished, Bungobo had shown him the evil of the world. Wars, Death, Rape, Lies, Deception. Koven understood it very well and why some of these things existed in the world. He had also become a tamer of darkness. Bungabo, satisfied with Koven's training, released him from the shadow realm, and left him with the gift of a Katana of pure darkness. It was a katana that could extend itself for miles, travel through shadows, and dissipate to his choosing. It was unbreakable.

After receiving the gift, Bungabo materialized him back into the human realm, but he was in a completely different area from where the portal swallowed him. He had found himself located in a forest surrounded by the vilest of lowly monsters. Within only 2 days and little practice with his blade, Koven slaughtered nearly every monster in the forest with the ease of his Shadow Katana. He'd given it the name Hikage, Shade, because of the sword's ability to effortlessly bend through the shadows.

He continued his travels. However, while passing through a mountain, a gigantic dragon similar to a chinese dragon, shot through the sky like a meteorite towards Koven. He attempted to destroy the dragon that approached him, but in a single nerve that signaled Koven's body to react, the dragon was already in front of his own eyes. In the time it took for Koven's nerves to register 1/1,000,000,000,000th of a movement, in not even a twitch, the dragon went from piercing the sky above him to directly infront of him. It was a miracle he was able to see it at all. The dragon grabbed him, and as light particles slowly passed by him, Koven had passed out. When he came to, he'd found himself in a temple that was easily 200 stories. Awaking on the floor of this temple, Koven glanced around and looked up. From the window, he saw a being that closely resembled a human, but it was by god the true definition of a colossal. It had a face and pure white skin, and could have been the size of the temple himself, but he was outside the temple. Koven had seem him through a huge window that could only reveal the giants face and torso. The being referred to himself as "Ljos", a god of light, and had brought Koven here to start a brutal training on a road to master the powers of light.

At the beginning, Ljos made Koven meditate for a total of 50 years, but just like the Realm of Darkness, the time around the temple was separate from the human dimension of time. In 5 decades in this temple, only 10 minutes had actually passed. After meditating, Koven began to meditate upon the feelings he had felt with Indra. He meditated over his mother and father, and the families he was ready to meet after his journey was over. He began to feel freedom, love, kindness, compassion, and with these new feelings he began to learn how to harness the power of the light.

Ljos taught him the power of flight, so he could learn outside the temple and watch as Ljos took a smaller form. In this smaller form, Ljos taught Koven Tai Chi, a martial art that Bungabo did not teach him. Slowly, Koven began to wield light particles. He was able to do extraordinary things with it, such as run, and move at the speed of light, or creating light mirages of himself, and bring forth lightning. When his training was finished with Ljos, he granted him a gift. A rapier with with the ability to create blinding flashes of light whenever it struck something, and channel lightning within it.

Soon after Ljos had told him the definition of Twilight and how to become a Twilight Walker. On his own, Koven had to learn how to bind the powers of Light and Darkness together. He learned that in order to do so, he had to betray both sides, yet keep them both stabilized at a balance point. Shortly after, Koven was transported to 2 separate planes of existence, where all could see in the plane of shadows was blackness, and all he could see on the plane of light was white. Ljos & Bungabo appeared in their respective planes. When Ljos, and Bungabo spoke it was in unison. "Koven, this is your final step in conquering your gift" they said with booming voices. Suddenly, the planes of existences merged with a plane between light and dark, and a shadow form and light form of Koven appeared.

He was given the task to bind together with these halves and he would truly become a master of Twilight. At the time, Koven had no idea what he had to do, but as they came at him, wielding the same weapons he had been given. He had no choice, and after a long weary battle, he destroyed both stabbing the forms with each of the opposites different plane.. Upon destroying them Koven died.. But the two forms. The light particles, and the shadow matter of the forms we're absorbed unto his body, bringing him back to life. Giving him a new form, new clothing, and his old weapons. He was reborn. Bungabo and Ljos satisfied, transported Koven back to his family, where he reunited with Raihi, and Valezka, and the rest of his family.


Powers

Light
Kovens light powers are divine, he can bring light into any situation. He can:

- Harness light particles and bend it to his will.
- Call forth and direct lightning strikes
- Reach speed very high speeds that easily surpass the speed of sound in every movement he makes. Exerting his energy, he can move near light speed.
- Create blasts of light energy that work as lasers.
- Peer into the souls of people
- And lastly, manipulate his own gravity to pull him in 1 of 4 directions left, right, up, or down, as well as controlling the gravity around him, allowing him flight.
Light gives Koven a healing factor. He can regenerate himself through particles of light he can gather from the surrounding atmosphere or light he can create on his own. If left uninjured long enough, the particles of light will replace damage and even limbs at a moderate rate

Darkness
Kovens shadow powers are immeasurable. He can create dark matter, and can create complete darkness.
He can:
- Call forth dark matter, and manipulate the shadows to create multiple shadow limbs.
- Create shadow beasts
- Assemble, and reassemble the dark matter.
- Able to travel between darkness, and come up in a place where darkness is.

Another intriguing power he possesses is that he can literally absorb the shadow of another person or object. However, it involves close contact. When he consumes the shadow, he's leaking dark matter , allowing him to reassemble, and heal any wounds instantaneously, so when fighting him, people must be weary of their shadows.

He has acquired many forms of martial arts and has mastered all he has practiced in. He's got a well built body, his reflexes are above human, and his strength is as good as a body-builders, but can be enhanced if he's striking with light particles allowing his hits to be very fast, but also packing an extra punch to his strength.


Clothes
Koven wears an armor that's heavy, sort of like kevlar, but more fluid, and flexible that covers his torso area, his pants are built mainly for movement, and don't contain any protection, but allow him to be extremely fast. The armor on body his shirt, and back and sides, weighs a total of 80Lbs. But can still move at normal speeds thanks to his training. He's dressed mainly, in black, and white most of the time, and his hair takes on the same attributes, and so does his eyes, except for his skin which is tan.


Traits
Koven considers himself an ally to all, he's very accepting of most people, and because of his charisma most people are attracted to him, but a problem he faces is when he's angered, or provoked the dark side of him, takes over making him a complete a*****e, at times, but he's still on the inside nice, he's a very well-balanced person, and prefers to talk things through, before settling to violence, he has pride up to an extent, and doesn't allow anyone to step-over him, and get the best of him. He's very trusting automatically, and when you lose his trust. It's not easy for anyone to ever get it back, he was raised strictly by both spirits, so he's a very honest, and modest person, and extremely loyal to the people he cares for most.
