 Eden sighed as she lounged in the shade of one of the date palms in the oasis she'd made her home while she waited to see her loved ones again. Bored, bored, bored, bored, booorrred~!
Since coming to this world, she hadn't seen her man-Genie, or their son, Babylon. And, Zion? Only barely, if that. No masters had come across her bottle, either, and no other genies to spazz off with. Greeeaaat.
Eden floated upward, flipping around her smoky lower appendage casually. She looked around with her dark eyes, hoping to see any sign of the local equine life forms of this part of the world. Insofar as Eden could tell, she could still do magic, just not nearly as much as she was used to. Hopefully that was just a temporary state of affairs, though. She had no idea what a genie was supposed to do when they were alone, without a master, without most of their magic, and without anyone else to talk to.
And Eden was not going to look at that inscription on her bottle again; the one surrounding the seal of that Solomon guy, who'd also done the inscription. Geez, if he'd WANTED that temple built, he could've darned well ASKED NICELY, it wasn't like all genies were jerks about it. See if anyone wanted to work for Solomon or his descendants after that. Not that there were that many, if any. Yeesh. Oodles of concubines and wives, and still no guarantee of leaving behind descendants. Well, that was probably the Hindu concept of karma in a nutshell.
She sighed. Poop. No one in sight. And it was getting hotter out here. Eden floated back down toward her bottle, squeezing inside. At least she'd seen fit to get some kind of coolant system going in there before getting sucked through that wormhole, so it would be nicer in there.
Eden didn't notice ripples and bubbles beginning to float upward and skate across the water, announcing the presence of another Star in the water.Ice_Dragon_Demon Figured I'd get the ball rolling on this. Also dunno how far we're gonna go with this RP, but let's see how it goes, yis? ^^;

The underground network of water in the desert lead to many a oasis. This one however as far as he knew was relatively unoccupied and perfect for a little get away from the herd before he'd return with his latest trove. If he made them wait a little longer they'd be more eager to see what he'd brought. He never expected to find any sort of treasure here in this empty oasis. but as soon as he popped up from the water he noticed a small bottle hidden behind the lush brush in the sand within reaching distance. Nothing lovely escaped his eye especially when it came to fine goods. Such things were always quite mysterious and often held secrets of their own. Though the bottle was relatively undecorated it was still quite a lovely piece. Badr reached for it to inspect it further before giving a nod and slipping it into his trader's bag. There was just enough room for the bottle he placed it in carefully and closed his bag then pat it before diving back down.
Maybe there wouldn't be a little getaway but, he did love his job. He truly couldn't complain. We'' then, it was time for him to return. The Trader dived back down and began to head home. Badr only resurfaced once he'd come home. There was nothing like it, and there were always fine women here too. It was a shame Adira had taken a liking to that lovebird. He did quite enjoy her company when he'd returned.
No matter Badr could feel eyes on him as he surfaced. The royal guards always had him in their sights though. The King of Kings was too stiff sometimes for his own good. He chuckled inwardly laying out his wares, placing the mysterious bottle gently on the blanket he used to showcase his wares.
 Madhu was still shy, and clumbsy despite being a fully grown stallion now. He tried to stay away from others as much as he could. Madhu wished more than anything he could change. Not that something magical would just pop out of nowhere. He found himself waiting shyly behind the brush of the oasis for the trader to finish unpacking his wares. Maybe he'd find something pretty for him mom. Despite not growing up proper according to the herd's views his Mother had always supported and loved him.
Once the trader was finished Madhu Shyly approached, and a pretty bottle caught his eye. It was lovely purple and pink bottle with golden trim. He flattened his ears nervously, with some encouragement from the trader Madhu got close enough to inspect it before accidently brushing it with his cheek.

Never failed, one minute, you're taking a nap in your newly air conditioned bottle, then someone snagged your bottle, and you spend the next few hours being bounced around. Furnishings flying everywhere, real mess to clean up. And all plans of a siesta go bye-bye.
However, given the occasional drip of water, apparently her bottle was being carried off underwater. This was a new one. Had one of the merfolk gotten her bottle? Or maybe some kind of hippocampus, given her new shape.
It took Eden several hours to dry everything off and reset the interior decorating. She wasn't one for profanities, not much, but this seemed like a good time for trying all the less pleasant words she could think of, in all the languages it was probable no one spoke anymore. Akkadian, Hittite, Egyptian, Greek, Latin, Aramaic, Sanskrit...all fair game.
She had just slotted her collection of Spanish cookbooks onto their shelves when she felt it.
Rubbing.
Someone was rubbing her bottle.
Eden wasn't a free genie. Her man-genie might be, but Eden wasn't, and neither were her kids.
The magical contract that bound her swirled around her, ejecting her from her bottle. Which she had just finished fixing back up. It was all she could do not to snap at her new master.
Who probably did not deserve to be stuffed in a safe for the rest of eternity. Not given the sheer surprise they might be feeling now.
"Salaam, new world~! Where are we? What year is this? What's the name, what's your story?" The words tumbled out, fast, but with a cadence all their own. Even if she had a new master in this world that was apparently inhabited by equines, Eden still had responsibilities, and could maybe possibly find out the nature of this place she was in, far away from her home on what the Romans called Terra.Ice_Dragon_Demon Ahhh, Aladdin-verse genies. What happened next Madhu couldn't even fathom. A loud yelp came from the skittish stallion as he dashed into the brush shrinking as tiny as he could possibly be right then. The only magic he was good at, a magic used for hiding. The Magic of his breed. The tiny stallion Shivered quietly hiding away from the Genie, he quietly hoped it would go away. He wasn't good with others. She seemed to energetic on top of it all. He curled himself into a tiny ball.
What the hell was that?! and how did it come out of the bottle?! Did he release some sort of demon.
No matter if he stayed here quietly under this brush all tiny maybe it would just go away? Maybe he could give it back to the trader as faulty.

Eden blinked, looking around. The brown...hippocampus...stallion? Nope, didn't feel right. Plus, she thought she'd seen someone else vanish through the sparkles and smoke associated with summoning a genie for the first time.
"Hey, Master? Where'd you go? We need to have a little talk, just the usual paperwork to file." As she spoke, Eden tried to will herself into all sorts of other shapes. Nope. Nada. Shapeshifting magic gone. Eden wanted to scream. But she had a duty to fulfill first. Screams could come later.
It occurred to her, since they weren't on Terra anymore, that they might not have genies in this world. Or maybe they were just incredibly rare. Which was depressing all on its own.
"Hey, you have heard about genies, right? They do have genies in this world, right? That would suuuck if they didn't~!"
Eden hoped they did. It would be crazy-hard to deal with immortality if there were no other genies in the world. Unless...unless genies lived as long as other beings in this world? And could have kids with them? If that was so, things wouldn't suck as hard, but, in the meantime...Eden hoped that she could find other genies in this world. And if not, then hopefully her new master would be kind-hearted.Ice_Dragon_Demon I take it we will now commence with the ancient and venerable forum tradition of the game of RP tag? owo

Badr was definitely surprised, he hadn't expected a full sized nova to come out of such a bottle. There were legends from his homeland but, nothing he'd actually scene before. "Now that's quite something." he said examining the bottle again. though he hadn't woken her he had grabbed the bottle Shame he hadn't thought to rub it himself. He could of had a lovely mare following him everywhere.
"I suppose this belongs to you Madhu." the trader chuckled waving the bottle in the young stallion's direction before setting the bottle down.
The poor boy had leapt higher that a tiger and hid faster than a flash of lightning. he was probably still hiding in the brush. "Miss, he's probably over there in the brush, Arion can change size."
he watched the mare and pondered, that a strange creature. "I've never seen your like, Miss, a genie you say?" he was quite interested in hearing all about her. Then again he was interested in hearing about all women. They were all fascinating creatures. "I'd like to hear about you actually. Little Madhu is a very skittish stallion."

"Madhu, eh?" Eden asked curiously, floating over to peer into the bush that the hippocampus had indicated. Size-changer? OK, that was something she kinda missed, but not too much. That had been more Genie's thing than hers. "What's an Arion?" She asked, paying less attention to the hippocampus. After all, this Madhu was her master, not the hippocampus. The hippocampus had just been a ride to this oasis. Quite a large oasis, now she had a chance to pay attention to her surroundings.
"Yup, I'm a bonafide, certified, dyed in the wool, flesh and smoke genie. Come out now, Master Madhu~!" Eden called, mostly ignoring the hippocampus. Not her master, not her issue that he was flirting with her. After all, as far as she was concerned, she was taken.

W..w...Why wouldn't she go away?! Madhu couldn't fathom. Why Did she keep calling him her master. He couldn't be the master of anyone he was just.. he wasn't confident enough or anything and Don't put him in charge of someone. No, no that was baad Idea. All he did was touch it! he didn't think something would pop out... and he.. he just he just wanted to get something pretty for his mom. He was so anxious and kept looking for an escape, maybe he could just... .but the oasis wasn't thick enough for him to hide He wished his mom was nearby. He could have hid behind her. He'd get looked down upon but that was usual. He wasn't a strong stallion by any means. he really was unlucky how could this happen?
Madhu grew a little bit, enough to be ween so his voice would carry across to the mare "S..stop c..calling me that." he stuttered. "I..I'm not anyone's m..master." he blushed still among the brush he still wasn't coming out
Badr chuckled as he got turned down yet it didn't dampen his spirits in the slightest. It was always expected because there was always a chance. That had been happening a lot lately. No matter there were fine women everywhere. Each as unique as a gem, it didn't bother him when it couldn't have one. Many belonged to others. He knew when to not interfere. besides the mer stallion had many wonderful children from the women he'd met so far. "Madhu is a very gentle soul, unlike most stallion's you'll find in this herd." making a scene might not be the best way to coax him out of hiding. though he'd let her figure that out. This was just as entertaining to watch.
but a genie maybe there were others in the world. He might have to make the odd habit of rubbing bottles and lamps when he found them. .

Gentle. Right. Probably meaning shy and sweet. Definitely meaning, despite her excitement at socialization, time to dial it back a little. Otherwise this was gonna be a looong servitude.
Eden floated back a little.
"I am the genie of the bottle. As the one who rubbed my bottle, you are my master, entitled to three wishes--un, deux, trois. As per the paperwork--" Eden swallowed frustration at how little magic she could do right now "--there are a few rules to be mentioned. First off, no wishing for more wishes. Second off, no wishing for me to make your dream girl fall in love with you. Third off, I do not kill people~!"
Eden floated closer to the ground. "How's it sound, Master Madhu? Got any wishes I can grant you? You've got three shots at semi-phenomenal cosmic powers. Anything I can do for you?"Ice_Dragon_Demon Let's see if this helps poor Madhu....
