Aedan, despite the fact of being related to not only one God, but quite a few, had actually never met one. Little did he know that today would change that. He figured he'd give Velia a visit. She was one of the first cubs that weren't his sisters that he actually met. He remembered when they were introduced to the pride and he got to know her. To think, a shiny rock would bring two individuals into a unique friendship. She was quite the firecracker sometimes and he enjoyed that about her. Then again her siblings were all about pranks and jokes, she had her own amusement about her though. She was supposed to be meeting him somewhere around here... 'Ah, there she is.' He padded over towards her with a smile on his face. "Hey you, long time no see." He said walking up to that tan and yellow face he knew so well.

It was a nice enough day to be out and about. She was considering getting her rank changed to hunter. She wasn't much for fighting but she loved the thrill of the hunt. Her thoughts were broken however when the sound of a familiar voice cut through the air. Blue eyes turned to see her friend coming towards her. She was meeting him today wasn't she. Funny how she ended up in the right place then. "Hey stranger." She said nudging him on the shoulder lightly. He was one of her favorite friends. Actually, he was her only friend now that she thought of it. She wasn't sure if that was something to be sad about or not. Either way she liked him well enough.

"What have you been up to?" Her and her siblings always had a knack for shenanigans so he was curious to know if she'd been up to the sorts. It wouldn't have surprised him if she had been.

She chuckled wondering what he was implying. She really had been focusing on bettering her hunting skills once she thought about it. She wanted to be of more use to the pride. "Honestly I've been working on my hunting skills." She caught movement out of the corner of her eye and she turned her head to look at the very large female that was just ahead, near one of the turns.

She knew little about the Gods and Goddesses that walked among them at times but she had a clue that this was one of them. She nudged Aedan and cleared her throat at him. "Hello." She said in a friendly, yet quite tone, not really sure what to do in this instance. She suddenly felt nervous.

Aedan was about to respond about her and hunting but was stopped mid speech by her shoulder and a throat clear. He gave her a quizzical look and then followed her gaze and mouthed out a silent 'Oh'. "Hello. I'm Aedan, and this bashful thing is Velia" He said with a chuckle giving Vel a wink. Oh he knew she was going to swat him latter for this. He was a bit more open then she was when it came to strangers and he figured why not just put yourself out there and see what happens.
