• Personality :: Runo's personality can be put on par with a Slakoth. If anything requires more than a flick of the wrist to complete, he's known to moan in great pain and suffering until someone takes over the task themselves or he actually can work up the much needed energy to get it done. Favoring slumber as his number one pastime, it is not uncommon to find the trainer blobbing on people or things to catch a few winks. It is best not to bother him in this state; he will strike up hell and high water if disturbed during his frequent catnaps.
He's also a bit of a glutton and known to comfort eat; stretching his hand to anything yummy to calm his fears or stresses. It is rare to not find him nibbling on a food item when he actually is awake and not breaching the divide between consciousness and dream. Runo is quite fond of berries especially, except spicy ones. In actuality, they're his kryptonite, and he would rather brave the harshest elements, conquer the toughest Pokémon, and risk starvation before biting into anything that will flare up his taste buds.
Beyond his unimpressive outer appearance is actually an individual with a surprising work ethic. Runo loves keeping himself busy and dives headfirst into his ambitions in life. When it came to mind he wanted to become a healer and then a breeder, he sought out whatever means necessary with great enthusiasm to make sure he could become what he wanted to be; shedding whatever obstacles were in his way such as his family. It is known for him to become swallowed up by his work, leading to times of him holed up testing things instead of interacting with others. His negligence isn't purposeful, but he tends to find keeping himself busy far more entertaining than conversing with others.
At some points, Runo can also come off as childish. His enthusiasm and vigor skyrocket with he is excited and he becomes a bouncing ball of glee to people and Pokémon he likes. However, once again, don't let this leave you fooled; he is actually is much more mature than he appears. Sort of. Runo has his moments when he can dish out a good set of inspiring words to make someone feel better. Likewise, it is rare for him to lose his patience with another, and rarely, if ever, will he turn someone away for something they have to say.
