Murkcrow heard the sound of hoofbeats behind him and turned to see who was coming. "Oy," he grumbled. "Why do I have to dream about you?""I could say the same to you," Stalker complained after coming to a very short stop.
"You didn't happen to see the buck who was here just now, did you?"
"In fact, I didn't even see you until I almost ran into you."
Murkcrow frowned. He was hoping she would know who it was, but that was probably a foolish hope to begin with. Stalker was not a social kin. He looked around, and found that the scenery had changed again.
