Jack had started to come to terms that he had his mother and sister back in his life and yet now it was time for the two most important ponies in his life to meet the sister in law and aunt they had never met but he wasn't really expecting Frostbite to show up so it was basically just the kids and their families...well, family, it was only Lemonade who had children, who had shown "mother, Serenade, the first four ponies I would like to introduce to you are my four children and one I am certain that you, Serenade, will find you have a little affinity with" he said as he smiled at his sister who was laying on the ground next to their mother. The two oldest girls are Crystal and Snow "he said as he gestured to his two oldest daughters respectfully "they are the bane of my existence but I love them even if they are a hoofful" he said as he smiled at his daughters "Crystal and Snow this is your Aunt Serenade and your grandmother Rosie Glaze" he said as he saw the two smile at their aunt and grandmother, wanting to ask questions but decided that they would wait, there was a lot to get through..

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Aunt Serenade and Gradmother Rosie" the two said in perfect and polite unison.

"It is a pleasure to meet you also girls" she said as she looked at her brother, wondering why he didn't user her full name.

His mother smiled at the two and yet a slight worry look was in her eye, were the two as bad as what Jack had said they were? They seemed so polite but she decided to wait to see about this matter.

"The next two are my youngest, Lemonade has my temper and stubbornness but she has the heart, beauty and kindness of her mother" he said as he quickly glanced at his oldest two, scowling a little he smirked a bit, if there was one thing he did right it was raise Lemonade and Winter to be great ponies, he went wrong somewhere along the line with Crystal and Snow but at least Winter and Lemonade turned out well.

Jack then introduced Lemnonade and Winter to his sister.

Lemonade smiled at the two "it's nice to meet you both, Jack hasn't told us anything about you, I must admit, I was wondering if he had any family at all but then I realized they probably disowned him by now given how much of a murderer he is" she said glaring at her father before taking a step back.

Serenade and Rosie grimaced, looking at their brother and son and both wondered how much of Jack's family hated him besides just what he told them, that Frostbite was the only one.

Winter looked at his sister "Lem, please, be polite, it is the first time that we have seen our Aunt and Grandmother on Jack's side, the least we can do is not worry them at the moment with such things even if I do agree with it" he said as he he stepped forward "Grandmother, Aunt Serenade, it is a pleasure to meet you both, I hope coming here was alright, no hardships?"

Serenade ignored the two younger ponies conversation for the time being, realizing why her full name hadn't been used and smiled warmly at Winter before looking at Jack "Jack..." she said as she saw him nod, obviously picking up on the same thought he was having and tears welled up in her eyes and got up carefully and walked over to him and threw her front legs around him and hugged him. "I love you so much" she said as she nuzzled him, what a surprise, a lovely, sweet surprise, she had always believed that Jack had never stopped caring about her and their mother, may have lost touch for obvious reasons, but she always believed that Jack still cared about them and this just proves it "I feel so blessed," she said as she looked over at Winter who was looking at his Aunt curiously "Winter, there is a reason your father never told you my full name as it was to be a surprise at least to me but I see it meant more then just what he first thought.

Winter, my name is shortened to Serenade as it is a little easier to say but my full name is Winter's Serenade, you are my namesake" he said as she looked to Jack "we always were close growing up, we had to be because of that piece of s**t of a man that was our father and so mother, Jack and I had to remain close to withstand that man" she said looking back at him "but he never told you because he would have thought that it would be too hard on him, it was one thing to remember fondly the name you gave your son was after a sibling but to explain why it was so special would of been hard on him. He did tell you that it was a special name right?"

Winter smiled softly, remembering the talk when he was a foal and nodded, if there was one thing to say about Jack, he DID actually have a sweet and sensitive side that was rarely shown.

"Thought as much" his Aunt said as she smiled at him.

"I also said that it belonged to a very special, beautiful, amazing pony that I hoped one day he would get to meet but I think that left him a little confused back then since he was just a foal but I am pleased he now gets to meet his namesake" Jack said as he smiled at his son "I gold you she was special, beautiful and amazing."

Serenade blushed a little "Jack, stop it" she said as she looked at Winter "anyway, Winter, it is a pleasure to finally meet you and your sisters.

Winter couldn't help but smile through all of this, yes he was still angry at his father but, if truth was told, his anger toward him had eased a little, he was so pleased to finally meet the pony he was named after, he had wanted to all his life even though it was a small secret wish of his, he just wanted to see what was so special about this pony and now he he knew to a certain extent.

Jack backed off and smiled at his family "I just wish you could have met Frostbite, I know she and I are not speaking to each other but..."

"I said I would come" a voice rang out as an ice blue pony walked toward them, the sun making her look radiant as she held her head high and seemed to have an air of regality about her "I just wasn't able to get away from my job" she said as she walked over and stood beside Jack and smiled at the two new comers.

Jack was so pleased that she was able to make it "Frostbite, this is my mother Rosie Glaze and my sister Winter's Serenade" he said as he saw her take a few steps forward and kiss the older pony's cheek and hugged his sister quickly "it is a pleasure to meet you both, I have heard so much about you" she said as she could feel a small smile cross her face as she looked at Jack, it was, she admitted to herself, one of the things she loved about Jack, how close he was to his mother and sister, it was always a beautiful site when he spoke about them. jack was full of warmth and love when he spoke about them that it just oozed out of him and seeing it again as he stood here, looking at them, she couldn't help but feel a spark within her that longed to have him back, have her and him spend time together just laughing and talking fondly about his sister and mother and having be told all these amazing stories...but reality hit and she was brought back to the fact that it didn't make up for what he did, he was still a murderer, he lied about that, he couldn't be forgiven that easily.

"It is a pleasure to finally meet you also" they both said in unison.

"Jack" his mother said as she looked to him "you didn't tell us how beautiful she was."

"Well" his sister chimed in "technically he did, he just didn't care to elaborate or at least the elaboration that he did it really didn't do her justice and she fits into this family so well! You would think she was a long lost relation of ours."

Rosie laughed softly "I think you have a fan" she said to the female ice pony "but we have met before" she said as Frostbite looked at her curiously.

"We have?"

"We have, do you remember the woman who you bumped into one day when we were both looking for toys in the Toy Shop in Solstice? We both needed a soft toy and because of it being a sales day it was rather cramped so of course we would bang into others but you only saw my face under a cloaks hood and even then it wouldn't have been all that clear..."

Frostbite nodded "oh yes, now I remember! You and both spoke about the toys we were buying as gifts, it was just a casual chat really, nothing to come of it, but that day I couldn't stop thinking about you, like I knew you from somewhere or I had bumped into someone like you before...it was strange but I just couldn't place it so I ignored it and didn't think twice about it. I guess there was an ease about you that I found, once upon a time, with Jack, like I could tell you my life story, every secret I have ever had and all my worries and you would still be there with a ear to listen and words to comfort me or advice to help me out of a mess I was in, you came over like you were some sort of long lost friend and now it is clear why that was, Jack takes after you in that way, it was one of the things I loved about him, he was always so willing to listen or give rather good advice when I needed it."

Rosie smiled "he does take after me, yes, he has a good head on his shoulders, sometimes he strays from the path but he does always come back just like this time, he has proven himself to be an amazing man regardless of his past transgressions no matter how serious they were, they were not good, no, but he has proven himself to be better then what he was, he has learnt from the past and you know that the Elders are keeping a close eye on him, you and he need to sit down and talk especially given your condition" she said as she winked at her.

Frostbite was taken aback, so far she was able to pass off her pregnancy as weight gain but she guess she needed to talk to Jack regardless of how she felt and sighed "you are right, I do, but right now? Can't we just all go somewhere for lunch and talk later? The kids can come as I am sure their wanting to ask you a million questions and then, later on, we can introduce you to the great grandchildren."

Rosie nodded "of course, that would be great, I am rather hungry anyway, have a place in mind?"

"A wonderful place in Harmonia, it is popular, they don't do reservations, it is a buffet but it is an all you can eat buffet for just the one price and the chefs are amazing at keeping up with the high demand, we may have a little wait but really, it is only about 5-10 minutes at most, it is set in the old town hall they used to use before the new one was built and so they transformed it into this so it is rather huge so we may be lucky to not even wait, either way I could eat a lot, I am starving" she said as she smiled at the others.

"Well, I guess she DOES fit into this family" Rosie said "we are all big eaters and lord knows Serenade here can eat for two when she is starving."

Serenade blushed "you make me sound like Jack"

"As I said, part of this family" her mother said as she smiled at her daughter.

"As long as someone else pays for us we will come" said Snow and Crustal in unison.

Jack sighed "considering that this is a joyous occasion, I will pay for everyone" Jack said as he opened up a portal to Harmonia "come on guys, lets go" he said as he stood to the side and let the others through first.
