Characters Name: Calcifer Race: Hybrid - Geist/Chimera Zodiac Sign: The Spear Academy House or University: Community College - Dropped out Gender: Female Starting Stage: Senior Body Type Base: Chimera base B with Horn base 4, the wisps from Geist base B, Brief Description:Body: Tan, with light green Geist wisps on her tail and wing wisps (Her Geist wisps should be light green all over), light pink lipgloss
Eyes: Green and glowing, black sclera
Hair: Brownish orange with blond highlights, ponytail with a red/pink ribbon.
Clothes: See ref. I can't describe it |D;; but the plaid part can be just solid red! <3
She does have two rings on her visible hand: On her middle finger is a silver ring with a heart as the center and on her ring finger is a silver ring with a light purple stone. She also has a necklace with a glowing red stone.
Horns: Grey-blue
Wings: Off-white/light green and wispy
Tail: Same color as her hair
Claws: Black References (if applicable): Icon doodle, Outfit, Necklace, Purple stone ring, Heart ring

Brief Overview:
Calcifer was born from a partially imbued stone her mother had gotten from the stone bank. She had never met her real father, nor does she really want to, and her mother never bothered to push for it despite knowing who the Geist father was. Calcifer was raised by a Chimera mother and a Baphomet stepdad, and when she was still a Freshling, her parents got another stone to imbue and Calcifer recieved a younger sister.
Her family life got a little rough in her teen years, as her parents often argued, mostly over her grades and her sister's, and her sister and dad fought a lot over the same thing. Nothing ever got physical and eventually everything would resolve itself, so she never complained. Calcifer was also having trouble in school, and would always get just barely passing grades. She often had trouble focusing on schoolwork and spent a lot of her time in class daydreaming. This was mainly due to her having trouble focusing in class because it wasn't interesting to her.
Eventually, Calcifer graduated the Academy with mediocre grades. She thought about attending Grendel, but settled on going to Community College. She attended with one of her relatives, her cousin, but Calcifer only managed to complete a single year at the Community College before she decided to drop out and just start working. She wants to one day go back to school, and hopes to be a graphic designer or just to generally have a graduate degree.
During a Hallowed Haunt event, Calcifer and her Demon love, Caine, met their newest partner, Koto, a pretty Imp. The three of them now live together in happy polyamory. At the most recent Hallowed Haunt, Koto and Caine sent Calcifer to the Orphanage and there, Calcifer met her son, Dante, and took him home.
And then, unable to keep herself away, she returned to the Orphanage and adopted yet another son, a little demon/nixie hybrid named Nero.
At some point, she and her triad would love to imbue their own stones one day, but at the moment, they would rather adopt and give a home to kids who would need it most.
Thoughts on her Race:
Calcifer likes both halves of her race, though she identifies more with Chimera than with Geist. She has no problem with any other races, though she's unsure of what to think of some of the newer races, but this only because she's not met one personally yet. She's sure she will like them if she met one.
Thoughts on her House:
While in the Academy, Calcifer was in Arkham. She enjoyed being a part of it and loved being around other artistically inclined students.
She attended Community College for a short time before realizing she didn't want to go to school anymore and decided to jump into the working world. But she made a few friends in the short time she attended, and one of the Nightmares she met became one of her beloved partners.
Goals:
To provide for her family and be a good parent. To go back to school one day.

Personality:
Very upbeat and she makes attempts to be the more logical member of her triad, though Caine is the most logical one. Calcifer has some hidden anxiety that often comes out in the form of self-loathing or feeling like she's not going to be able to properly provide for her family. She often brushes it off and puts on a smile, trying to look for the positive than to dwell on the sadness.
She's a very loving Nightmare and she wants a big happy family, and she's fiercely loyal and dedicated to her friends and family.
Positive traits:
-Caring
She cares very deeply about her loved ones and she's very protective over them. If you try her, she's essentially a very yappy dog. She loves her friends and family and will do anything for them and to protect them.
-Creative
She was in Arkham in school and she loved all of the art classes. Art is her passion and she loves to draw and color with her son. She's very crafty and likes to build things as well, and she's grateful her stepdad taught her how to build.
-Friendly
Totally friendly, yes. She's often shy when first meeting someone, but once she finds something in common with them, the shy mask is gone and she's immediately trying to make friends.
Negative traits:
-Short-tempered
Calcifer is an eternal flame and once she gets upset, she will spend hours raging. She's very open with her anger and will rant until she feels completely satisfied and eventually calms down. She will often rile up Koto to rage with her and they feed off each other's displeasure until Alex comes in to play the peacekeeper.
-Holds grudges
She doesn't forgive easily. If someone incurs her wrath, especially if someone wrongs a dear friend of hers, one of her significant others or her son, she is not likely to forgive the one who did it. At some point down the line, she may forgive but she will never forget.
-Sarcastic
Calcifer is a total salt queen. She will throw shade all day if you let her, and sometimes she can be downright mean when she says something. The only good thing is that she won't be the mean salty to someone directly, but she will be sassy and even though it seems like she's playing when she says something mean, deep down, she probably means it.
Likes:
-Art
Her passion. Art was her all time favorite subject and she wanted to go to school for graphic design, but she decided to keep art a pleasure rather than work.
-Music
Like art, music was one of the classes she enjoyed the most while attending the Academy. She enjoyed it enough that she considered pursuing a career in the vocal music field.
-Puns
She has the worst sense of humor. If a pun can be made in a situation, Calcifer is going to be guilty of making it. Terrible puns are her lifeblood and bring her and Caine such joy, much to Koto chargin.
Dislikes:
-Rude people
She can't stand when people are rude for no reason. And you best hope you aren't rude to her, because she'll get catty right back, and do so with a smile.
-Broken promises
Calcifer gets excited really easily about things, so when she's promised something and it doesn't happen, she'll get sad and feel really disappointed. Her rebound is quick and she gets over it fast, since she knows it's not a big deal and it can be pushed back to a later date.
-Liars
This. Above all, she hates liars. If you want to say something, she thinks it should be said to someone's face and not behind their back.

RP Prompt: Oh no! Your Nightmare has lost something that is very dear them! What have they lost, and how do they react?
Okay, it was panic time. Calcifer couldn't believe how much of a scatterbrain she was! Stupid, stupid, STUPID! She'd taken off the ring Caine had given her so she could shower and now she couldn't find it! She searched the bathroom high and low and it wasn't there! Oh Nine, did she knock it of the counter when she was drying her hair? What if it had gone down the drain?! What could she say to Caine?!
Okay, he would be understanding, but at the same time, Calcifer was scared out of her mind. That was her most precious gift from Caine. She touched her neck, relieved that her necklace from Koto was still there... But where was the ring?!
She ran out into the living room and told Caine about it, only for him to laugh and gesture to a nearby bowl. Okay. So he had take it to clean it. Thank Nine. Calcifer sighed in relief and flopped across Caine's lap. The jerk. How she loved him.
