Bio:
Kita was born under devastating circumstances. When Kita’s mother was pregnant with her fourth child, the family was poisoned by an unknown who wanted to kill those in power. Although Kita’s father and siblings recovered, tragically Kita’s mother only worsened and it was unsure whether she nor her baby would survive the pregnancy. Inevitably the Queen met her fate and whilst her daughter was born healthily she died soon after the birth, surviving long enough to hold Kita just once.
The years after the Queen’s death were anything but peaceful. The king was in mourning, and had left the running of the kingdom to his three children. Two twin boys and a girl, Aurae. It was soon noticed that the boys could not handle the pressure and so it was decided that Kita’s sister was to be Queen. The twins left without notice, angered that they were having their kingdom taken from them. When Kita was ten years of age when her father met his end due to a violent illness, leaving her and the kingdom in the careful hands of her sister.
In the past five years, Kita has come to terms with the death of both of her parents. She had always blamed herself for the previous Queen’s death. If she had not been conceived, then her mother would have been able to recover. She couldn’t blame anyone for the king’s death, he had died naturally and so she could only mourn. It was unusual for one family to lose so much in such a short time, but this has only strengthened the bond between Kita and her sister. Kita is nearing the end of her studies. Like her sister, one of her strengths was her affinity for academic subjects. She excelled in her studies and is a very bright young girl. However, the side of being a princess she fails at is combat. She dislikes violence and war and is more of a peace maker than a fighter. She prefers to solve problems with words and has become a rather effective orator. People like listening to her talk and hopefully, she will one day be a very powerful influence over the kingdom. At the moment however, she is still effectively a child and she does childish things. She has crushes on people and absolutely no interest in politics or ‘official business’. Her ambitions lie in school teaching rather than the acquisition of the throne which is something she will not voice. She doesn’t particularly have any interest in marriage but she knows that one day, perhaps soon, she will be betrothed. To Kita it really sucks being a royal and the duties of a princess do not come naturally to her.
Personality:
Kita is a rather quiet and thoughtful individual. She often communicates with simple glances and facial expressions which convey what she wants to speak. Choosing the right thing to say at the right time is a forte of hers and she doesn’t tend to babble on. Partly because she is focused and intelligent but mostly because talking is just - so much effort-. However, if situation calls or she is extremely excited about a particular event she can completely change into someone jumpy and erratic as if a confetti bomb has just gone off in her brain. She is open minded to new ideas and doesn’t quite understand why all the kingdoms must fight. Reading and writing are her passions. She has a great love of literature and will not hesitate to quote a book she is reading if the context is relevant. Perfectionism is something she loathes about herself, her room is immaculate and everything is - perfect - by her own high standards. She isn’t strange, she just likes things neat and ordered. Although there are many good qualities about her, there are also some negative. She has the tendency to be rather judgemental towards others without even consciously doing so. When she realises she gives herself a mental slap on the hand to stop it. She is also extremely physically clumsy and this can be quite frustrating to her. Her two left feet often get on her nerves. Her temper is quite short and sometimes raises her voice without realising to tell something inanimate to stop making an annoying noise, although she’d never dare to this to a person. The one thing motivating her to succeed is the fear of failure. It terrifies her, and she idolises her sister to the point where she sometimes copies her sister’s behaviour subconsciously.

Air Manipulation – The manipulation of air in the vicinity around her. She can move objects and even levitate with intense concentration. Kita has discovered that she can also create a kind of vacuum rendering an opponent unable to breathe.

- Kita is reluctant to fight and this is reflected in her style. In training she only ever aims for parts of the body that would cause the least damage and picks weapons that she is bad at on purpose. She has never been in a real fight.
