Family InformationParentsNash - Owned by Manda. Nash is a bit of an odd skinwalker, in that he was never actually ... evil. An Angeni found his basket while he was still inside of it and happened to see him start to emerge. Before the tiny purewalker could bite or attempt to maim them, the Angeni quickly slapped a charm on the little cat and then left - not wishing to actually raise him. So, even though he has a lot of predatory instincts still (and prefers live meat for food), he didn't really get a chance to be completely evil. For a long time, he had no idea other 'walkers were evil by default and would up in some bad situations due to this. He met Kinak when he tried to eat his familiar (another thing he was not aware of!). After some time, the two became mates and partners in giant hunting (Kinak's ... profession of choice). Kinak - Owned by Whoan. A giant hunting giant revered for his strength. Kinak is not fond of his own kind, thus any self-proclaimed giant might meet their end under his hooves. Fiercely loyal to those he claims as his, it is easy to win his love outside of his family, but inside his family is a bit harder. He was challenged by one of his daughters and did not back down - he won. Other FamilyTove - Owned by Whoan. Motherly sister to Kinak, they share a mom but not a dad. She does her best when Kinak and Nash are in her area, to dote on both of them as they are family. But as far as seeking them out, she usually stays in her little wintry area. Will gladly adopt kids. Older SiblingsRuna - Owned by magnadearel. (coming soon) Einarr - Owned by Manda. Einarr is a very outgoing and excitable boy. He is the only son (so far) of Kinak and Nash - one parent a giant hunter and the other a skinwalker so he's got a ... fun family. He grew up completely determined to follow his fathers around on all their hunts and anything else they were doing. Mostly he got left behind, but that didn't at all curb his enthusiasm. Eventually he did give up on being -just like- Kinak (who he idolizes for some reason) and struck out on his own. Now he's mostly just looking for his place in the world and what he wants to be. Brimir - Owned by Whoan. Kept trying to win over her father's affections, only to hate Kinak in the end. She is a strong, able-bodied giantess looking for her own family. These kids will probably never meet her except by chance. Her scars were given to her by Kinak himself. So she doesn't visit often (at all). Other BasketsWhite Basket - Owned by Mythi. Fell, male. Light Grey Basket - Owned by Whoan. Moroz, male. Dark Red Basket - Owned by Manda. Inga, female.

Prompt and FormKinak and Nash, though their relationship might be considered odd, are very close to one another. They work well together as partners when they hunt dangerous giants or beasts. About the only thing they don't agree on ... is kids. Nash is fine with them, you could even say that he wants them. Kinak is ... exactly the opposite. He absolutely does not like children, the idea of them, raising them, or anything of the sort. So, growing up, you've never really gotten any sort of love or affection from one of your two dads. At best, Kinak is indifferent. At worst, he can be downright scary. You're not really sure exactly why but that's always how its been. Now, though, you're determined to impress him somehow. To get his attention, and maybe even ... his approval? How do you plan on doing this? Please note, the basket you're trying for is male. Also, when choosing a name, please go with Norse or Russian sounding names that have 2 syllables or less. If he decides to call his kids' names, Kinak has to be able to pronounce them and remember them fairly easily hahaha. You are allowed to involve Kinak and Nash in your prompt, write out what they are doing, reactions etc. Just keep their personalities above in mind. Owner's Name: Artymus Basket's Name: Gimlé Name Meaning: According to the Völuspá, it's the gold-covered hall where the survivors of Ragnarok will reside, and is said to be the most beautiful place in Asgard. (Also where Tolkein got the name Gimli) Basic Personality: Gimlé has always been very solemn and hard. He has no time for frolicking, or shenanigans. Ever. He doesn't necessarily look up to Kinak, but he has a respect for him, and wants to continue his father's work in giant and monster hunting. He doesn't show much emotion beyond a fleeting satisfaction after completing a hunt, or displeasure at...well most things. Prompt Reply: --There were whispered stories of a beast that lived on the mountain that Gimlé had overheard while trading for supplies. His fathers were hunters, the one thing Gimlé himself had also desired to do. He didn't like the old man, but he had to admit to himself that Kinak was one of, if not the best beast and giant hunter he'd ever known. He'd...not quite admired, but had a generous amount of respect for Kinak for choosing this profession, and had decided as a foal that he, too, would rid the world of these dangers. After listening in to the others at the small trading post, he had made up his mind to go after the beast himself. Perhaps in succeeding, he'd earn his father's respect has a fellow hunter. --After returning home with their supplies, he began gathering the spear he'd made himself, and some salves and bandages. He wasn't worried about food, from what he'd overheard, the beast was bedding down nearby, at a rock outcropping he'd often gone to as a foal. Slipping away into the shadows so as not to be followed, he started towards his old thinking spot, determined to show that he was ready to join his fathers on their hunts. As he neared the spot he used to be familiar with, the stink of rotting flesh and offal assaulted his senses. A beast, indeed. He hoped he hadn't bitten off more than he could chew. --Steeling his nerves, Gimlé quietly inched closer to get a look at what had inspired such fear in the locals. Peeking through the last line of trees between him and his mark, he sneered in revulsion. What was this...thing? It had built a fire to combat the oncoming darkness, which cast a hard, almost bloody light on it as it devoured what Gimlé could only guess was it's latest victim. His lip rose in a silent sneer. He had to take care of this himself. If he went back to his fathers, he knew Kinak would think him weak for not taking initiative. Taking another fortifying breath of blood-and-ick scented air, and his spear in his teeth, he charged from his hiding place, hoping to catch the beast unawares. --When he returned home, bandaged, bruised, and still bleeding in some spots where he couldn't tend himself, Gimlé threw down the thing's head he took as a trophy at Kinak's feet, daring to meet his father's eyes. Without a word, he limped over to where he kept his extra materials, chose a length of oak, and began working it into a new spear haft. He'd need a new weapon if he was going to go hunting, whether on his own, or with his fathers.

Owner's Name:FelianAurden Basket's Name:Dima Name Meaning:A shortened version of Dimitri, meaning follower of Demeter. Basic Personality: Wild and Rambunctious, He seems to have no sense of his own saftey. If an idea pops into his head he will absolutely be doing it unless someone else stops him first. If you pulled up a dictionary definition of the phrase problem child his picture would show up. Prompt Reply: Dima stared up at the lone giant before him from where he was laying injured, captured after his latest foolish attempt to make his Father, Kinak proud of him. The Giant itself was watching him hungrily as it sat next to a fire it had built. The stench of rancid meat and old blood filled the clearing, scattered bones and antler's seeming to decorate the giant's home base. Dima thought back to how he had gotten himself into this predicament, trying to distract himself from what appeared to be a gruesome fate.
His Father's has left early that morning heading off on thier latest hunt. Nash directing the 4 siblings to stay in the cap while they went off. It was not long before Dima grew bored, which any who know him would say is a dangerous thing. Letting his siblings think he was settling down for a nap, he waited till they were distracted from him before heading off into the mountains, following the way he thought his parents went. Surely if they found he had not only found the Giant before them but taken it out as well Kinak would approve. Paying no mind to the fact that he was still not trained in any way beyond the basics of hunting and had brought no weapons with him he set off. Trekking through the forested mountains he was so sure that he was on the right trail when he started to hear loud hoofbeats and crashes coming through the tree's. Turning he found himself face to face with the giant that his parents were hunting today.
Fear filled his veins as he saw the sheer size of the giant in front of him, deciding this had been a very bad idea, he turned leaping away on swift hooves. He was almost panicked in his haste staring in front of him as he leapt and raced away further into the mountains. With the thundering of the hooves following behind him he grew careless in his panic and didn't notice the hole in the ground where one of his hooves fell until the pain lanced through his front leg. Stumbling from the pain he was swiftly knocked out by the fearsome giant behind him. Waking up where he is now in pain with seemingly no hope of escape.
Drowning in the grief of potentially never seeing his siblings or fathers again he was relived to hear the familiar hooves and paws against the stone of the mountain side. With Kinak leading the charge and rushing in front he did not stop upon seeing the colt but his expression did full with an almost disdain. He called out to Nash. "Your child your problem, get him out of here before he is more of a liability that he already appears to be."
Nash, seeing Dima against the ground, injured and clearly not where he was supposed to be leapt forward tail lashing in worry and making sure to place himself between the Giant and his son.
"What are you doing here? You are supposed to be with your siblings safe in the camp! Oh you had better believe we will be having words over this when we get back this is no place for a colt to be wandering around on your own!" Carefully pulling Dima out of the area to someplace relatively safe he made sure to be within earshot incase Kinak needed help. Dima himself was feeling thoroughly chastised already but knew there would be more to come.

Owner's Name: xxxxx techabyte Basket's Name: xxxxx Demyan - Though will likely go by Dem Name Meaning: xxxxx Tamer; to tame or subdue. Basic Personality: xxxxx Demyan is a quiet, calm kind of stallion. As a child he was scared often by his father, Kinak, and thus taught himself to steel his nerves and remain calm. The less he spoke, the more likely it was he would go unnoticed. That being said, despite his stoic nature, he is very caring. He likes to communicate with small head bumps ( such as with his siblings or dad, Nash ). He's protective of his family above all things, and will lay down his life for them if he so deems it necessary. As a warrior he is rather strong, but it isn't within himself. He gives strength to others, in ways that many can't really explain. xxxxx [ Demyan is a sort of rogue, if talking DnD terms. He can communicate with animals and manage to ask them to do things. It grows stronger the more he ages and practice with it. This leads him to having many familiars on his side, as well as communicating with feral creatures. ] Prompt Reply: xxxxx He didn't know why his father didn't like them. Perhaps that was the wrong phrase. It wasn't that he didn't like them. Perhaps more so that he didn't wish to tolerate them? Or that he never wanted them in the first place? Maybe as they grew, he would become more open to his children. Though Demyan didn't think that was going to be a possibility either; he'd seen how he treated his older siblings. And the reactions made him cringe. On more than one occasion, Kinak had lashed out at him and his siblings, not violently, but with loud noises and movements that made Demyan step back from fear. But with every outburst, the young foal started to get used to the actions, and grow a callus to them.
xxxxx A hunt was about to happen; one that Kinak had been talking with Nash about for some time. They'd located a giant, as large as they came, and had been tracking it to try and see where it laid down it's head. And they'd found it. Demyan was worried; he always did. They would go out on hunts that could cause them personal harm. And the small foal didn't like to know that his parents may not be coming back. But this time, he wanted to help. He wanted to do something that would ensure they'd come back. So, while they planned their attack, Demyan gathered all their equipment. He sharpened any blades, ensured enough food or bandages were packed, and even made sure they had some furs in case it got cold. Once he had everything ready, he packed them into a small saddle, and wiggled his way into it. He could be a pack mule. That would help, right?
xxxxx When Kinak saw Demyan with the pack of supplies, he gave the look. Like he disproved and wanted Demyan to leave his sight immediately. But the foal argued that with him carrying their things, Kinak and Nash would reserve their strength, and wouldn't have to worry about being burdened. Kinak started to argue, but Nash stated it wasn't a bad idea, and that he would ensure Demyan stopped when it was to be too dangerous. He grumbled about it, but Kinak approved, and they went on their way for the hunt.
xxxxx Demyan had trouble keeping up with the two adults. He struggled at times in deeper snow and pushed himself harder and harder each time he saw them getting farther away. Kinak refused to slow down, and though Nash stayed a few steps behind, he dare not go against his mate. Demyan would have to keep up. So he did just that. If he fell behind, he ran faster. If he got tired, he shook it off and refused to stop. A days march ended with them near a mountain, and they decided to make camp. They were close to where the giant laid his head, and Kinak wanted to make sure they waited till daybreak, when the beast was sleeping, before they attacked. Demyan was quietly grateful, and laid out furs and started a small fire for them to keep warm while Nash went and got some food.
xxxxx The night was quiet, and when daybreak finally came, they packed up. But this time, Kinak took the supplies and huffed at Demyan. It was a close to a thank you as he would get. Nash told him to go home, and that they'd' manage from here on out. No need to put him in danger. It worried Demyan but he turned around and started heading back to their home. He wasn't sure how long he walked, but he could hear the bellow of the giant as it woke. Could hear the shouting of his fathers as they fought the beast. Panic settled into his chest and he turned and started to run back toward the giants nest. His ears flipped back as he frantically searched for where Kinak and Nash were. He just had to find them. Maybe if he got there in time he could save them! But it was so confusing here; everything was white and bare. How was he to find where they had ran off to?
xxxxx As he ran, a family of bears appeared. And Demyan quickly stopped, startled. He pleaded with them, uncertain if they were feral or familiar. He could be risking his life here just to talk to some bears. They blinked at him, before turning around and running into the forest. He didn't know what to do. What could he do, really? The only thing he could think of was to go home now; to wait to see if they came back or not. And it broke his heart. Defeated, Demyan turned and wandered back home, making it there by sundown. He slept when he got there, curled up in a small bed of furs. At least he could try and have some peace in his rest.
xxxxx When he woke up, it was midday. He was so much more tired than he thought. Demyan pulled himself out of his small bed, and wandered around until he spotted a light in his day. His parents were back, and Nash was excitedly talking about their hunt to the others. Demyan ran up, happy to see that they had survived the giants attacks with minor bruises and wounds. And it made his heart feel at ease. But the story caught his attention. Nash said how a group of bears came out of no where, attacking and distracting the giant from some blows that could have killed them easily. That they stayed until the giant was near dead before running back into the woods. Demyan blinked, confused, before shaking his head. Surely it wasn't the bears he had begged...
xxxxx Right?

Owner's Name: medigel Basket's Name: Pasha Name Meaning: Russian for "small and humble" (at least, he's small by this family's standards) Basic Personality: What's a proper D&D party family without a bard black sheep? It's unclear where Pasha got his joie de vivre, but not even Kinak's absence puts a dent in it. He revels in music and song as much as he revels in the fight - give him time, and he'll be a proper skald yet! Loud and optimistic, and more than a touch dramatic, Pasha is a loving terror upon his family who wants nothing more than to follow after them and other would-be legendary figures to chronicle and put to song their sagas. Whether you want him there or not. Prompt Reply: Pasha had tried several different songs at this point to no avail, and it was getting quite frustrating. What would make Kinak laugh? Crack a smile? Vaguely look amused?? At least acknowledge??? It was a challenge he simply couldn't pass up, and the foal wracked his brains for days before he came upon it: the perfect song! Now for the costume...
And so after even more time spent working on the lyrics and the exact melody, Pasha proudly (stupidly) stood in his father's way and, introducing himself as a rising star of a skald, belted it out. He was wearing the tanned skin of a recent hunt by Nash, painted to look like what Pasha thought was a giant, with warts and odd horns and all, and he pranced and feigned motions as he did. There was courage in standing up like that, believing his dad would sit still long enough to watch and not interrupt - courage or naivety. It was the Pasha way.
"Oh, there once was a giant named Kinak the Dread Who teamed up with a skinwalker called Nash the Red
And the pair together fierce and unafraid Against evil old giants did they both crusade
A leader once challenged old Kinak the Dread And he stepped up to fight him and growled as he said,
"Now you're soft and afraid to come fight me alone So step forward before I decide which to break of your bones!"
I could sing of a battle that's worthy of praise Of the clash between giants that lasted for days
But I'm not a liar, because well you seeeeeeeeee Old Kinak had killed him when he tried to flee!

Owner's Name: Kaya Wolf Moon Basket's Name: Adrik Name Meaning: Russian for “Dark” Basic Personality: Adrik is a dichotomy. To his foes, he is bold, fierce, unyielding, and merciless. He will not stop until he sees himself victorious, rising above any enemy or challenge to become the greatest warrior. Woe unto those who are unlucky enough to earn his ire or to be declared an adversary. Conversely, to those he claims as friend, he is equal parts gentle, attentive, protective, and patient. Adrik will do whatever he can for the love and comfort of his friends and family. However, though he may be loyal, do not come to betray his trust. While giants and those of evil affiliation are his natural enemies, he holds a special grudging to those who would dishonor and deceive him. As ferociously as he can cherish, so too can he swiftly decimate.
His feelings for his father, Kinak, border here- the only one of his family to hover between the two halves of his heart. For the sake of his other father, Nash, he does not act on his more bitter feelings. Adrik recognizes any action against Kinak as futile anyway. He is well aware that a fight with the larger male would end poorly for him. And, honestly, he could care less for his father’s approval. His actions would speak for themselves. Whether Kinak chose to acknowledge him or not, Adrik would abide by his own rules. He would walk his own path in life. He would rise and fall according to his own merits, with the support of those whom already cared for him. Such was his way. Prompt Reply: The day had started off well enough. Just a typical day of his Papa Nash off hunting while Papa Kinak was left at home. Of course, this meant that the latte of the two made it a point to stay as far away from the foals as possible. They all knew his stance on them. He was indifferent most days, unless one of them managed to get on his bad side. Then he was incredibly scary. Today was a day of indifference so far. Adrik, however, had plans to change that. He was going to show his dad exactly what he could do and make him accept him. It wasn’t going to be easy, obviously. Kinak wasn’t easily impressed, especially where they foals were involved. The young colt thought he knew how to garner the giant’s attention though. The larger stallion was a giant hunter, right? So, it stood to reason that if Adrik could take down a giant at his tender young age then his dad would simply have to acknowledge him as his.
It was at that exact moment where the day took a decided downturn. Oh, Adrik managed to setup his plan all right. It wasn’t overly complicated, if he were being truthful. With the help of his familiar- Artem- he was able to lay a trap. One of those where a hole was dug in the earth and then covered over- a pitfall, he recalled. Some of them had spikes, but this one didn’t. Adrik didn’t have the time or skill really to make something like that. His simplistic trap was really only meant to give him enough time to enact phase two. Phase two being that, while the giant was distracted with trying to clamber out of the pit, he would step from his hiding spot to spear it through the heart. Never mind that the spear was his parents’ and that it weighed more than he did, or that it had taken him longer than he cared to admit to drag it to the spot. He’d figure it out when the time came. Right now, he needed to get ready for any possible enemies to show themselves.
Adrik didn’t believe he’d have to wait long. He’d chosen this spot for two reasons: 1) he overheard his parents mentioning giants around the area, and 2) this path was one of the more open ones. If a giant wanted to pass through, then it stood to reason that they would come through here due to the space. It was just a mater of time. Adrik and Artem settled themselves in. Minutes passed. The sun moved steadily towards its peak. The morning breeze faded into the noonday heat. Drowsiness threatened to overtake the duo, teetering on the edge of an exhaustive stupor. Adrik’s eyes began to slide close. They were open barely a crack when the resounding stomp of heavy feet filled the air. The fog over his brain cleared instantly. Adrik jerked awake, with the motion causing Artem to do the same. Thump. Thump. Thump. The footfalls grew louder. The earth seemed to vibrate with every steo taken. This was it! This was the moment of truth!
He waited with bated breath. Sure enough, from around the bend strode a large stallion. Larger than any Adrik had ever seen before. Even Papa Kinak was smaller, if only slightly, than the giant. Fortunately, the young foal had foreseen something along these lines. He had made certain to make the pitfall as wide as the path and nearly nine feet deep. There was simply no way the giant would be able to avoid it. Swoooosh! As if on cue, the giant triggered the trap. Adrik watched wide-eyed as the stallion tumbled into the pit. Yes! Promptly, with some difficulty, he and Artem gathered the spear onto his back, angling it to where they imagined they could easily pierce the heart. They moved together, with even greater difficulty thanks to the heftiness of the weapon, and made their way forward.
Every step made Adrik’s heart pound. This was it. This would be the moment he brought down a giant. Except…things went completely sideways. Adrik miscalculated the depth of the pit in relation to the height of a rather large stallion. After three bounds, the now very angry giant had scrambled out of the hole. His eyes were wild as he stamped his hoof. “Who dares?!” He bellowed. An answer wasn’t long in coming. His dangerous gaze fell upon Adrik, spear still primed for attack. The giant’s nostrils flared. “YOU!” He hardly got the accusation past his lips before he charged forward. Artem yelled at the top of his lungs, begging him to run. Adrik stood lashed to the spot. No no no no no no. He couldn’t think. He couldn’t move. His mind was just as frozen as his body. The stallion bore down on them. In mere seconds, he would pummel the duo into dust.
Lucky for them, Nash had returned home to find the colt missing. He somehow convinced Kinak to help search, and the mates were in the nick of time to derail the giant’s plans. Adrik stared in awe at the power of his fathers. The two of them were like a well-oiled team, capable of reading each other’s intentions without a word passing between them. A stunned silence settled over the colt as he witnessed them work. It was both inspiring yet terrifying. When all was said and done, the pair dispatched the giant without appearing to break a sweat. Nash came bounding over to check on Adrik and Artem, safely securing the spear from the foal. Concern and disappointment were obvious in his features. Adrik murmured his status, saying he was fine and he hadn’t been even been touched. Yet, while one father hovered and tutted over him, it was the silent one which drew his focus. The colt didn’t have to be a genius to realize how furious the elder stallion was. It was written all over his face.
Needless to say, Adrik had failed to earn his Papa Kinak’s praise. He instead received his wrath. Anger roiled within Kinak. Fury over having his spear taken. Rage from having to clean up an upstart foal’s mess. He pulled no punches in letting Adrik know how much of an idiot he had been. His words stung so deeply they brought tears to the colt’s eyes. Humiliated, he unleashed a few feelings of his own, expressing how he merely wanted to find acceptance. He dared not make it into a challenge, however. That would be even more foolish than his plan to slay a giant. Adrik backed down once he’d said his extremely small piece. But, in his heart, he made a vow that, no matter what happened from that moment onward, he wouldn’t seek anyone else’s approval. He would strive for greatness still, yes, but he would do it on his own terms.

Owner's Name: nekofayre Basket's Name: Andrei
Name Meaning: Russian for" brave" Basic Personality: Andrei is brave as his name. He wants for then anything to impress both his fathers. Prompt Reply: From the first day that Andrei came out of his basket. He noticed that something was odd with his parents. No matter what he did his father Kinak was the type to be well... indifferent. It was like he had no 'love for his children'. So Andrei was always trying to impress his father Kinak he would train hard, play with his siblings and watch both Kinak and Nash when they when monster hunting he would seek long and watch them both.
Oneday during a hunt his father Kinak saw him watching. Andrei spotted his father and as soon as his Kinak saw him. Andrei stood his ground for as long as he could until Kinak got closer. Seen the his father looking angry Andrei ran as fast as he could back to his siblings and hid until they both came back . Later that night Kinak was talking with Nash. Nash seeing Andrei walked over. " Son what do you think you were doing?" Andrei watching Nash. " I wanted to help father." Nash " your too young, to inexperienced you could have been hurt." Andrei looked at his father's feet. " I just wanted to be like you and dad." Nash looking at him " maybe one day." Andrei glaring " I can do it if you let me, please I can help." Nash " when you are older not now." Andrei " okay." Andrei walked towards his siblings and watched his parents.
Many years later. Andrei looks around making sure that the tracks were going in the same direction. He was sure that this Monster had been scaring the locals he had been tracking this monster for months. He thought of his parents would they be proud of him he had made a name for himself as a monster hunter and helped others deal with them. He knew that maybe Nash would be impressed if he took such a big monster down by himself. He wanted to impress Kinak but to honest he was scared of Kinak just something inside Kinak scared him. Something dark... something hidden in side.. just maybe if he impressed Nash he could impress Kinak maybe.
Tracking this monster was hard it required lots of tracking traveling and wishing that he was not to late.. he could catch this monster, kill it and return its head to his parents. Taking a breath and looking at the tracks he notices that they just seemed to stop. Looking around he sees a cave. Tilting his head he head for it and enters hoping that he can get the monster by surprise after thanks to his father Kinak he had better senses then others. He looks around the cave and notices all the animal bones, sheep, goats, other soquili laying around the cave. Looking down at the bones he notices that most of them look like they have been chewed on. Well there is a scary thought being eaten by a monster in the dark. Looking around again he sees a big entrance to the back of the cave where some growls are coming from. He lays his ears flat and heads down the cave. After a while the cave opens up in the middle of the room there is a half owl, half cat creature it has its back to him and seems to be asleep. He looks at his creature and breaths deep before diving on it....
Andrei blinks his eyes he could not believe it he had killed the thing. Really killed it. He walks around its body, It was huge bigger then even Nash.. Maybe I could take some hair or maybe a wing back to my fathers or even convince them to come here and take a look. Leaning down over the body he pulls some hair from it. He then walks back on his way out he sees a bolder he walks over and tries rolling it to the entrance of the cave. Kicking it with his back feet he gets it to roll and cover the door. He hopes that no one will try getting in while he shows his fathers and convinces them to come. He then heads back to where his fathers are to convince them to see this catch. Hopefully this will grat him praise from his Kinak maybe even Nash.

Owner's Name: xKOVAKtheWOLFx Basket's Name: Koloss Name Meaning: "colossus" in Russian Basic Personality: Koloss was assumed to be a big child growing up, but he is actually about the size of Nash, and tends to stray away from Kinak's hooves when possible. He however, has a big heart. Although his siblings are larger than him, he loves them nonetheless. Prompt Reply:
Kinak was to spend the day with the foals, and Koloss was trembling to be around his father. The small foal slowly walked up to the giant, eyes locked on those scary hooves. He heard stories of how his older sister, Brimir, became extremely scarred up in a battle against Kinak. Best to avoid father. Other than that, Kinak never really seemed to care about Koloss or his siblings, and the foal did not know why. Nash always showed love and affection, so why no Kinak? Did he just not like his children?
"Da-Dad?" he called out. "Do-do you want to go hunting? Or ...show me how to hunt?" No response. Koloss stared at his father longer, and then left, feeling invisible around Kinak. He would have to hunt giants on his own.
But what did giants look like? Koloss headed down the mountain a bit, and came upon a large giant (it's a buffalo foal)! The foal wanted to scream and run back to Kinak, but he had to prove himself. The foal stealthy hid, sliding his way over to the giant, and gave the giant a n** on the leg! The giant chorted a yip in surprise and ran off. Koloss was proud. His first time scaring off a giant!
He slowly trotted around, pleased, not noticing a larger giant emerging from the pines, heading in his direction. A bigger giant! The giant's momma! Koloss fell into flight mode and raaaaannnnn, scrambling back up the mountain, finding Kinak watching over him.
"Da-dad! Help meeeee!!"
