A secret lineage of Toreador antitribu, the darkly beautiful Volgirre were experts in the blackest pursuits of art, employing Vicissitude to produce twisted and horrific works of repugnant beauty.

As part of a secret agreement, the Volgirre have recently been allowed to reintegrate into the Camarilla Toreador, having defected from the Sabbat. The jaded main body of the Toreador Clan got centuries' worth of darker arts to enjoy as well as access to a Discipline uncommon among the Camarilla, while the Volgirre received false names and lineages to conceal their true origins from the other Camarilla clans.

So you want to be a Volgirre…..

Well, you’re in the right place! First of all, read up on clan/bloodline lore here!

And yes, I know it says embracing is rarely done. Whenever this is open, it’s an exception because of…. I’ll think of some plot reason. This time it’s because after leaving, the Volgirre were scarce and inbreeding was gonna become a problem if some new blood ain’t thrown in.

AKA they’re now introduced and I want more

This can be used for both embracing and just accepting vampires into the bloodline! (such as if a clanless vampire wanted to be a longer-standing member of the bloodline so we’ll just say they’ve been there. Like how a customed vamp is just a part of the clan suddenly). Clanless with connections/lineage to any clan but Volgirre’s enemies (ventrue) are accepted

*NOTE: Volgirres are just extra spicy Sabbat-flavored Toreadors. But there is some tension, especially among older members (its petty and the two Disciples typically get along). Take into account some toreador vamps might be a little judgy if their mate is a suddenly a Volgirre. Ask people how mates will feel beforehand juuuuust in case

Why do you want them to be/why do they want to be a Volgirre? Include clan connections and genes if applicable/you feel its worth mentioning: Mirella has been around since like '08-ish and has always been in Toreador. Although I think she's been long overdue for a rank-up, I have not requested to. The original colorist gave her the spec of "artistic murder", and I've failed to ever update it as it helped define her very... intense personality. I think Volgirre would appreciate her works of art better and Vicissitude would certainly inspire her.

She’s more than welcome! If you do get her eldered/want her to be, she can be a Volgirre elder. Both because she is old enough to be an elder in Toreador, and also because there were some Volgirre left behind after they were banished and they just tried to blend in rather than follow everyone else (I’m not sure if it was in the info before but it is now, I updated it) and she’d be welcomed back with open arms if that’s a scenario that fits for her character. If not, then like I said, she’s old enough and that’s enough reason. Thanks for your interest~

Why do you want them to be/why do they want to be a Volgirre? Include clan connections and genes if applicable/you feel its worth mentioning: I really like the Volgirre and I'd like to get my little weirdo into a Clan. She's already mostly nocturnal, and while snowball fights aren't exactly typically artistic, I think she could turn herself to some fascinating, violent pursuits given time and the ability. Also she's already a little gothy and going full fancy goth would be fun.
