Josie rolled over, facing her dark and bemarked back to her. "I've no one to leave with," she snapped, obviously bitter about the subject.
"But I can guarantee that dad won't make it at all easy on you. Or Regius. We are still his kids."

Xiah smiled widely when her mate came to her. "Everything is fine.. I'm just..."
She trailed off a bit, looking at her large belly. "It's... quite the time, Kai." She said, lifing her head up a bit to lick his maw, before her eyes shut quickly and she layed back down, the pain seering through her.
The contractions had started not too long before, hence why she had fled to the forest edge. She didn't want to be sitting in the den with pains shooting through her, either.

The sun was now half-way across the sky, and the cubs had been born - three beautiful girls in different shades, but all resembling the royal family in her own way. Kai laid beside his hard-worked mate, purring and cleaning the small gray girl. "They are beautiful," he whispered to his mate, nuzzling her, and wondering if she was still awake. "I believe that the name Fan Xi Rui suits this girl..." he said quietly, looking down at her before continuing the clean her.
Xi mewled as her father cleaned her, and she peered up at her mother with half-closed, curious and tired eyes.
Shaitani, now returned to the den, smelled the thick scent of blood, and smiled to himself. The new cubs had arrived.
