Detention

"It's my marshmallow, you Canadian fiends!" Fate mumbled sleepily, flinging an arm out to hit Emily.

"Ouch." Emily backed up laughing as Fate hit her in the nose. "Let's see if he's ticklish." She smiled and began tickling him.

"Emmy be careful." Austin sat back laughing.

"You masters of torture, how dare you!" Fate giggled as he jumped awake. "Heeeeey! That was rude Emily!"

Emily began giggling and soon couldn't stop. "That... w-was...so...f-f-f-funny." She hit the ground laughing and was soon rolling on the ground unable to stop.

Fate pouted and crossed his arms. "You are a mean neurotic master of Canadian torture, Emily!"

Emily began laughing even harder and couldn't speak. Tears filled her green eyes as she panted and flapped at him like a bird.

"Oh great, now you've got her in laugh mode." Austin shook his head laughing himself. "That could be dangerous."

"You're just her ally, you're covering up for her fiendish fiendish plot!" Fate said accusingly, pointing at Austin.

Emily fell continuing to laugh and flap like a bird. She was unable to speak, but just sat there gasping.

"What?" Austin looked confused for a sec, but moved on. "Just ask Sunrise how dangerous it can be when you've got Emily in laugh mode."

"No way! I won't disrupt my darling Sunflower's rest," Fate protested.

"No need, I'm awake," Sunrise said in a low gravelly voice. She laughed quietly, her eyes still closed. "So now I'm a sunflower?"

Emily was still laughing, but turned her flapping arms to Sunrise as if to say hi.

"Fate got Emily into laugh mode. Tell him that's dangerous." Austin smiled.  

[KT_Tonguetied]

"Oooh, it is!" Sunrsie gasped suddenly, sitting up straight as a bolt. "Didn't you ever hear about the Great Side-Cramp of 2000?"

"No...should I have?" Fate asked uncertaintly.

"Maybe it's best if you didn't know dear," Sunrise said comfortingly, patting his arm.

Austin shuddered. "She's right there dude." He then turned to Emily and grabbed her ear. "Come on birdie, calm down."

Emily walked with her ear pulled, and her face in a pained expression. "Ow, ow, ow."

"Wow...Austin's got an antidote!" Sunrise exclaimed, in awe.

"Good job mate, you could be a healer!" Fate said in a fake proud voice.

"Oh totally." Austin smirked as he gave Emily's ear one final twist and let it go.

"That hurts." Emily rubbed her ear as she glared at Austin. "You don't need to be so rough."

"Hey it got you to stop!" Sunrise said in Austin's defense.

"Yeah, he's a miracle worker!" Fate said with a mock bow towards the other boy.
