In the city of Cyrus, Vampires out number any other race on Earth. They're strong, and almost impossible to kill. Only during the day when the sun is shining bright, does peace happen. But during that time, if your human, then you should use that precious time to get out. But there is a problem, The sun doesn't shine a lot during the day here.
Its mostly rainy, or at least heavy dark clouds cover the sky. The wind always blows cold , no matter the season. There are a handful of brave humans who have been gifted with the strength to kill these vampires, and the other supernatural threats.They are called slayers.
Some demons have even stepped up to help the human race. And even SOME humans have trained themselves to fight vampires. They have it the worse though, them being human and all. They are called mortal slayers. Can all these fighters defeat the vampires. Or will they be defeated and the demons , and vampires rule the world.

1. This is a LITERATE Roleplay. It is also long term meaning, Its not going to die , its not going to be finished , unless it's finished. LITERATE means at least five sentences or more in each post. I have a lot of trouble trying to find actual literate vamp rp's so I'm making one. I hope you guys like it.
2. GENDER BALANCE! Please, I cannot stress this enough. no four guys and one girl.
3. Use only my character sheets to apply for the rp, everything MUST be filled out, before I will accept it. Please be as descriptive as you can.
4. Pm me your profiles with the subject "Vampyre" and put " Purple moon monkeys" somewhere at the bottom of your profile so I know you read all the rules.
5. No Godmoding or PowerPlaying
6. NO Perfect Characters
7. Don't kill other people's character without permission.
8. This is how vampires turn humans. They share blood. Thats how it works. NO OTHER WAY!
9. YOu kill a vampire by decapitating them and burning their bodies, then burn the head. Sunlight also kills them.
You could also puncture the heart with a very large silver object, or rip their heart out and burn it.
10. When I post your profile , if you don't post for a week then I'll send you a pm asking you why. If you don't reply to that pm within three days, I'm taking your profile off and blacklisting you. When you come back and you pm me telling me you were gone I'll take you off the blacklist and post your profile again.
11. My word is god.
12. Only 4 slayers , 8 vampires, 7 demons, and 3 mortal slayers will be allowed. The rest will have to be human.

Where she lives: Sarah lives in a two story white house that she use to live in with her mother and father.
Bio: Her mother and Father were killed. Her mother first. She was killed by two vampires who came to her flower store to vandalize it. Her father was killed at the fbi office when he was going to turn in his report, for catching a bankrobber that the fbi has been looking for , for a while. Sarah first figured out she was a slayer when she was fifteen years old. She killed the vampire couple who killed her mother. Lucky for her , they were young vampires, easier to kill. The leader of the city killed her father, but that was the only kill that the leader of the city made. He ordered the other vampires to raid the fbi field office, and kill all the agents that they could find.

Beep , Beep, Beep! Sarah's eyes snapped open as the alarm clock started going off. Her arm snapped out to slam on the snooze button,but when she slammed her hand down on the alarm clock, the clock's pieces flew across the room. Sarah groaned. Not again.
She rolled her thick blanket back and got out of the bed. Her room was pitch black save for the view of the city that could be seen through the large window in her room. She sighed as she went to the closet in the hall and grabbed a towel. Then she went back to her room and went into the master bathroom and turned on the shower.The hot water felt great againist her tired body , and it woke her up.
A few minutes later after she had washed her hair and everything, she turned the water off. Sarah opened the shower door and grabbed the white towel that she hung on the rack. She wrapped the towel around her and stepped out. She went to the closet in her room and opened the door. She turned on the single light hanging on the ceiling. Sarah pulled out her clothes and put them on. She blowdried her hair and brushed it smooth which took a little while.
When she was done getting ready she went down the hall on the second story and grabbed the three weapons she was going to take for the night. Sarah had other weapons of course, but she carried these three mostly because these were her most valued weapons. She hid them in the proper places then went downstairs.
She grabbed her knee length leather coat and put it on to cover herself. Sarah knew that she would probably not wear it more than she did tonight. In this city the vampires were like bugs infesting an old apartment building. You just can't get rid of them.

Piopi drifted around her dark castle room, restless and annoyed at her father for confining her to the castle. "stupiddangfuthermakingmestainthestupidcastleall sodding day!!" she grumbled to herself, pacing around the room. She got tiered of that quickly and began drawing at her old oak desk. The cold wind blew in her tiny slit of a window, and she stared up at the overcast sky and sighed- It would have been such a nice day to go out. She scribbled aimlessly on the page 'another boring boring day with nothing new, cooped up in a stone cold, wet castle.' she thought to herself as she shaded the grey of the clouds with her grey lead pencil.

appearance: She has long shiny black hair and extreemly pale skin- she was pale even before she was a vampire. She is tall and sturdily built, with light pink lips (not the blood red vampires normally seem to have) she has hardly any eyebrows and always seems to wear grey dresses of some sort.
Where they live: She lives in the castle with her father who is the head Vampire, and many other vampires who live with them too. She gets to boss them all around because she ranks higher on the pecking order. It is a big old, cold, castle and she really dislikes it there, and prefurs to go to stay in motels in town rather than sleep in the castle.
Bio: She was bitten by her father when he was first building his vampiric empire, and turned into a vampire at only 14- thus forever staying at that age. She can be very gullible but loves to investigate things and she belives that curiosity may have killed the cat but it wont kill her.

Golden cat slitted eyes dully watched the meandering humans from above, following their movement with utter boredom. Three pairs of wings were folded against his back, silky black feathers ruffling in the wind and acting as a sort of blanket against the cold. He was like a protector watching over his charges, only this protector was no hired mercenary nor human. The demon's clawed fingers stroked against the rock ledge as he continued to watch, the hard nails making small grooves against the granite.
Sarinal gave a small yawn and stood to stretch. His wings uncurled themselved from his slender back to curve out along with his arms, their full blown spread pulling to relieve tension in their muscles. With another yawn, the demon retracting his wings and shifted his weight from one foot to another, catching the attention of a small child down below. The toddler gave a wide grin at Sarinal, tugging on his mother's hand. When the woman turned to look at what her child was so excited about, her eyes widened and she pulled the protesting boy away quickly. The toddler shoots another look back to the confused demon on the room as he was hustled down the street by his mother.
The demon gave a shrug to himself before something caught his eye. Perhaps a vampire? Well, he could only tell if he went closer. Pushing his wings out again, he gave a strong leap off the roof and twisted to avoid smashing his wings into a pole before spreading them out fully and soaring to his destination.

Piopi looked out her window once again, noticing a moving black spec further away. Squinting through the smoke of the city, and tilting her head so she could see past all the spires and chimneys, she watched it approach the stony outer wall of her fathers castle. 'I wonder who that is.' she thought to herself- demons were quite frequent visitors but they didnt usually come around at this time of day when they had messages. She looked back down at her page again, decided to give it up, and went back to investigating the flying thing. She waved at it, grinning and leaning out the window more.

He was raised by Adler Bloodlust, an old warlord who thought of nothing but death. Daemon was under the pretence that Adler was his father until only a while ago when Daemon met his parents Gabriel and Maralle t'Ortyn of the Angelle t'Ortyn. Daemon was originally the son of the Angels but an incident with an angry Mage had him with the soul of his old friend Alex inside him. His stature is now a Demon, but he ramains with his Angel soul. Unable to kill anyone but for defence, Daemon will not harm anyone unless he or another is threatened. He only carries two thin bladed Katanas. He has elemental and summon powers. His hair and eyes change colours with his emotions. He has wings, his left is black his right is pure white.
