does anyone know where can at least get some pictures so can laugh? Pictures? Could I see them too? 4laugh -runs off to search by herself-

Since I'm currently in Lolita-semi-obsessive mode (yes, that does sound slightly wrong... confused ), I notice many things that seem like lolita. I really love it.
I actually like the fact that few people know what lolita is. It's kind of like what anime and manga used to be: for those who really knew about it. Nowadays, more and more people are figuring out the lolita thing, and it makes me a little sad. crying

The way fashion is going, Hip-Hop clothing will be staying for years to come and all us lolitas and kodonas will be able to dress non mainstream

I was flipping channels one day, and on MTV they were doing 3-5 minute long special about Lolita! I started screaming in excitement and my face was about 3 inches from the screen (it's a good thing my family is used to me doing that whenever i see something about Harry Potter, or an anime I watch). Frankly, it was kinda odd for MTV to talk about Loli, but it was fairly well done.

Darky-Hitori "Ba-... Lo-... HOMGTHAT'SLOLITA!!!" Being in the UK, and being very behind on America's Next Top Model (which I watch, because I'm sad), I was watching the show last night. Due to the fact that the girls were in tokyo, I was wishing for something lolita to come up. Just... Anything. And then they showed a lolita model! xd And the girls had to seperate, find any of the four Japanese clothing stores, and create a Baby Doll Lolita outfit. My God - it was so freakishly exciting. I was annoyed, though, because my outfit would have been 50 times better. whee They also spoke about Harajuku girls, and anime fashion, etc.. It was heaven. Anyway! Do you ever see Lolita fashion in the weirdest places? Or, do you see things and instantly think, "That's so Lolita!" No-one I know actually knows what Loli fashion is, so I always have the joy of explaining it - and when randomly shouting things out if I see a cute little girl in a frilly dress.. I do tend to get odd looks. xd *Laughs* Indeed, I had the same reaction as you! Of course...there was alot of screaming over the phone at friends to change the channel to ANTM...and couch abuse...*cough* If I had that oppurtunity, I would've hit every store I could! Even if I got eleminated for some odd reason, I'd be happy leaving with all of the Metamorphose clothing I could snatch up.

I was actually in New York on a school trip. We were driving through the city, and every few minutes I had to refrain myself from telling the driver to pull over so I ould buy stuff. xp I saw socks and shoes and a big pink squishy lacy teddy bear...

darn i must've missed that episode!! that would have been awesome to watch!! i always see people in movies with clothing that i instantly think: LOLITA! and there are a few stores at the mall too that sell lolita-type clothing.
